We stayed for one night and had an overall pleasant experience. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people. The bathroom was especially nice, with a large and comfortable shower area.
There were a few small details missing that you might expect from a five-star hotel, such as a toothbrush, slippers, and a water kettle in the room. However, this was not a major issue for a short stay.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was very good with a nice variety of options. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Ik geef zelden een slechte beoordeling aan het bedienend personeel, want ongeacht in welk land het is, het bedienend personeel is hard en krijgt te maken met veel onvriendelijke gasten. Maar deze keer in Westin voelde ik me erg slecht. In totaal drie dagen ontbijt, de eerste dag omdat ik met mijn vader ging en ik goed kon zien met mijn baby. De t****e dag was mijn vader te moe om mee te gaan. Ik was de enige die op een baby van één jaar paste. Terwijl ik thee bestelde met de serveerster, stootte ze per ongeluk de melk om en morste die over de hele tafel. Maar het eerste wat ik deed, was mijn excuses aanbieden aan een vrouwelijke ober en haar helpen met opruimen. Natuurlijk was het niet zo schoon als nieuw. Toen we op de derde dag teruggingen, kwam een oudere mannelijke ober ons nog voor we gingen zitten berispen, waarschijnlijk omdat hij de eetkamerstoelen gisteren had bevuild en ons had gezegd dat we in de kinderstoelen moesten gaan zitten. Ik zei dat er geen probleem was en verontschuldigde me opnieuw. Verrassend genoeg wuifde hij het weg en vertrok zonder de kinderstoel mee te nemen en zonder me thee te serveren. Je kunt je voorstellen hoe beschaamd ik was. De persoon die kwam om van de service te genieten, werd uitgescholden. Dat was nog niet genoeg. Deze keer was ik met mijn vader en de baby maakte geen extra afval en ik kon ervoor zorgen dat de tafel schoon was. Zoals normale, beleefde mensen dat zouden doen. De man kwam uiteindelijk terug om te scanderen toen we weggingen en bleef maar zeggen dat we afval hadden gemaakt. Heb je geen kruimel van je maaltijd overgehouden? Als je klanten niet wilt bedienen, kun je van baan wisselen. Verschillende andere vrouwelijke obers waren erg vriendelijk. Wat een zeer goede indruk van het hotel was, werd door deze ene persoon verpest. We zullen vaker naar München gaan, maar zullen dit hotel niet meer kiezen. Niemand wil tijdens het ontbijt door een gemeen persoon aangestaard worden.

Really enjoyed my stay at Louis Hotel. Location cannot be beat by any other hotel in the whole of Munich. Room was really really really beautiful furnishings. The bed and bedding was really luxurious. Minibar was inclusive which is nice and makes one enjoy the room even more. Front desk could be more friendly though, perhaps more training on being more genuine as at times the smiles were really forced, but that could be a Munich thing, dunno.

HHuaerjuanThis hotel really knows how to please lazy people! Breakfast is open until 1 PM on Sundays and 12 PM on weekdays, perfectly matching a naturally awakening pace. You can start eating at 10:30 AM and leisurely eat until 11 AM, skipping lunch altogether. The remaining time is perfect for strolling around the neighborhood, swinging on the swings – so relaxing! The complimentary sunscreen is a must-have! Very useful.
However, I have to mention their dinner restaurant; the steak was absolutely awful, only the soup was decent.

After breakfast, I ran into Zheng Qinwen at the hotel entrance. Turns out we were staying at the same hotel. 😄 I'll definitely choose the Four Seasons Kempinski next time!

WWei Ming PekFirst, I would not recommend this hotel to travelers with young children or elderly family members. The surrounding area is highly mixed and felt unsafe during our stay. Within just three nights in Munich, we personally witnessed incidents including fighting and shop theft. This created a strong sense of insecurity for us as a family traveling with young children.
Second, the bathroom design is extremely inconsiderate and poses safety risks. The raised bathroom floor becomes very slippery after the first person showers, yet no grab bars or safety features are provided. This is unacceptable for a hotel of such a well-known brand, and it is shocking that guest safety was clearly not considered during the design stage.
Third, the housekeeping service was disappointing. Despite being out since morning, our room was not cleaned when we returned in the evening. When we requested assistance just to empty the rubbish bin, the cleaner refused, claiming our room was not within their assigned work area—even though it was on the same floor. Cleaning was only carried out after we called the housekeeping hotline, which left us very disappointed with the service standard.
Overall, the experience fell far below expectations for a branded hotel, particularly in terms of safety, design consideration, and service quality.

JJueduikongxu001This hotel offers great value for money. While the location is a bit out of the way, there's a tram stop just a few steps from the entrance that goes straight to the city center. The breakfast spread is excellent, and the rooms are spotless. What truly sets this hotel apart, especially after staying in so many across Europe, is the free mini-bar with Coke, juice, and beer, replenished daily!

The staff is quite nice & helpful. The spa and gym is quite nice, and breakfast is good too.
However, my mom found a little dirty stuff in the shower when she first got into her room. That's a minus.

GGuest UserWe visited Hotel Bayerischer Hof for a Valentine's Day Getaway 14-15 Feb. My wife received a lovely long stem rose upon arrival, and we were double-upgraded to a fourth-floor suite with a Lakeview. The Front Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The servers in the Cafe, Restaurant and Breakfast Room were prompt and efficient, the food was excellent and the Breakfast Buffet large and generous! I can recommend this Hotel for couples, Families, or Business Travellers. I have taught at a Hospitality School in Zurich for over 15 years, and am a professional business traveller with thousands of overnight stays and 10s of thousands of dining out experiences!

GGuest UserWe bought two train tickets to Zugspitze from the hotel. Since the hotel wasn't far from the Hausberg train station, about a ten-minute walk, we leisurely strolled along, taking photos. However, when we arrived at the station, we realized one of the tickets was missing. We figured it must have fallen out when we took our phone from one of our three bags. So, we retraced our steps, searching all the way back to the hotel, but couldn't find it. We explained the situation to the front desk attendant and bought a new ticket before heading out again.
The next day, when we were checking out, the front desk attendant told us she had good news. Apparently, after we left yesterday, she called the train station to cancel the lost ticket, but they initially refused. She then followed up with an email, and this time they agreed to cancel it.
It wasn't about the money; it was the feeling of being away from home and knowing someone genuinely cared and went out of their way to find a solution for us without even being asked. It gave us such a sense of security and genuine care.
Besides its great location, underground parking, clean rooms, and very friendly restaurant staff, this hotel is definitely somewhere we'd return to.
If you're still deciding which hotel to book, this one is absolutely the right choice.
It's a shame I forgot to ask for the front desk attendant's name. A big thank you again!

MMitangI had walked past this hotel before and thought it looked quite nice. So, when I went to Munich for an interview, I decided to book it. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room was clean and hygienic. The hotel is very close to both the subway and bus stations, making it super convenient to get to the city center. There are also supermarkets and bakeries nearby, which is really handy. I highly recommend it!
