"Mooi hotel met een goed zwembad. Ik hield echt van het hotelgedeelte. Ontbijt is goed. Er zijn zelfs donuts)) De kamer is groot, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. 's Avonds is er livemuziek in de bar. Ik vond de kussens niet prettig, ze waren te groot voor mij. En het is vreemd dat er in de beschrijving een kamer met een badkamer stond, maar die was er in feite niet, alleen een douche. Er is helemaal geen strand. Er is ook niets in de buurt. Ik kan het alleen maar aanbevelen als doorvoerpunt in Palawan voor een paar dagen. Al het andere zou voor mij saai zijn."

They were very attentive and considerate, always ready to attend to our requests even going beyond what we expected. All praises to the staff for their warmth and professionalism. "Ik vind het lastig om de goede en slechte kanten van dit hotel te beschrijven, maar het is echt het saaiste hotel waar ik ooit in de Filipijnen heb verbleven tijdens mijn bijna twintig bezoeken! Geen twijfel mogelijk! Laat ik beginnen met de goede dingen: 1. Het hotel is groot, goed uitgerust, met goede service en vriendelijk personeel 2. De kamer is groot, schoon en ruim. Het heeft wat het moet hebben, en er is zelfs een keuken 3. Drie zwembaden, open tot 22.00 uur, zeer ruim en gratis om te spelen 4. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, zowel het à la carte als het buffet zijn heerlijk 5. De luchthavenshuttle kost 1000P en is zeer efficiënt Dan het slechte: 1. Het zogenaamde strand is een grote moddervlakte. Nadat het tij was teruggetrokken, was het land helemaal kaal, met niets anders dan krabben. 2. De bewakers waren overzenuwachtig en lieten je niet het water in gaan, behalve in het aangewezen zwemgebied, omdat er kwallen en steenvissen waren, zelfs als je stevig was ingepakt. 3. Ik liep rond in het gebied en er was niets anders dan slikplaten en niets anders dan rotsen onder water, geen schelpen, alleen kleine krabben. Rechts zijn mangrovebossen en rotsen te zien. 4. Ik wilde een eilandhoppingtrip boeken, maar kreeg te horen dat er 6 mensen op de boot zaten en dat ik het zelf moest betalen als ik niet genoeg mensen kon vinden. Het feit is dat ik het wilde betalen, maar dat er niemand was om me te vergezellen en dat er niemand was om me vijf dagen te vergezellen; Tot slot raad ik je ten zeerste af om naar deze plek te komen. Naar Palawan gaan is tenslotte genieten van de prachtige onderwaterwereld. Als je in het zwembad van het hotel wilt liggen, kun je dan niet beter naar Sanya gaan? !"

"Prima hotel, mooi uitzicht over de baai. Goede locatie op korte afstand van het dorpje. Mooie zwembaden en een leuk kinderbad met glijbaan. Kamers prim met heerlijke bedden en een ruim balkon. De aandachtspunten voor dit hotel zijn het onderhoud van het zwembad, waar veel tegels los zitten of zijn gescheurd en de airco maakt echt onwijs veel lawaai. Ondanks dat hebben wij hier een prima verblijf gehad!"

The food at the restaurant was outstanding every time, fresh and delicious, and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. "We feel like in Paradise 🏝 - charming competent Service, spacious clean room with view - located in the middle of the lagoon - we took several trips to different remote beaches for snorkelling - also visited the tiny personal Ponderosa Golf Club on a hill near white beach - a really relaxing time out hear"

"My husband and I celebrated our second year anniversary at Cauayan. We considered other resorts but we have definitely made the right choice. The island is just breathtaking! We were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff and were escorted to our beautiful villa. My husband arranged a private tour of El Nido islands, where we ended up visiting about 7 spots with our guide even acting as our photographer (he took fantastic photos and videos too). In terms of food, the buffet breakfast offered a wide array of food selection. For lunch / dinner, we enjoyed all that we ordered (though some are really very spicy, so take note). The bar staff can concoct amazing drinks as per your mood & whim. I particularly enjoyed the spa and wished I booked a much longer massage. Our stay at the island became so much more meaningful when we witnessed hawksbill sea turtles being released to the ocean….As amazing as all these are, the best part of our stay in Cauayan is the friendly and customer focused staff. They prioritize the customers’ needs, always have a smile on their faces and have just made our stay in El Nido a memorable one. Thank you Cauayan and we will surely return for another amazing experience at your island!"

"Definitely is not a 5 star hotel because the management. The Hotel is new , good view don’t have access to the beach, location is good if you are searching for quiet place, the food is correct and the staff is nice and polite but they are really very bad organize and managed, when any of them take a brake none cover their position and the pool bar was absolutely alone during whole day and each time you need something have to go the restaurant for call them, we and more guest complained about but nothing happened. I tried to talk with the manager and explaintye situation but refuse talk with us."

"Het resort lag op een afgelegen eiland. Het duurde 20 minuten met de auto vanaf de luchthaven en 45 minuten met de boot van de haven naar het eiland. Onze kamer moest uitzicht op de oceaan hebben, precies achter de zonsopgangvilla's. Helaas zijn de bomen hoog geworden en kunnen we de oceaan nauwelijks zien. Het beste is dus om naar het strand te gaan en daar van het landschap te genieten. Het is niet de moeite waard om extra te betalen, tenzij het een zonsondergangvilla is. Ontbijt was acceptabel, maar de eetservice op de kamer moet worden verbeterd. Vooral het schoonmaakgedeelte. Het zwembad is in onderhoud en ik dacht dat zeevruchten en sashimi goed zouden zijn, maar nee, wat een beetje extra teleurstellend is. De algemene ervaring was echter goed, omdat het personeel erg aardig en beleefd is. We ontvingen dagelijks verschillende soorten lokale snacks en het bleek dat de keuken Filippino's eten beter maakte dan internationale. Voor een ochtendwandeling naar Eagle Point is het niet echt de moeite waard, tenzij je een drone hebt voor een uitzicht van 360 graden. Bedoeld om 3,8/5 te beoordelen, maar ik heb de zeeschildpad zo 4/5 ~ gezien"
