I stayed here before my pilgrimage. It's in an old building, so it has a nice atmosphere. There are no towels. There was shampoo and shower gel, but there was very little left so I couldn't use much.

Día lluvioso que hizo mi llegada a Oporto ver una ciudad muy triste pero seguía siendo increíblemente bonita.
Susana, la persona encargada del Hostel a mi llegada, fue lo mejor de la estancia, amable, sonriente, me hizo el recordar que, aunque haya días así, el sol siempre está. Repetiré sin duda.
Recomendación: llevar tapones siempre: escoger una habitación femenina par evitar los ronquidos es una ilusión. Nosotras también roncamos😂

Het is een goed georganiseerd hotel vlakbij een groot winkelcentrum in Porto. De medewerkers zijn bijzonder vriendelijk. Ik vond dat er meer was dan alleen de prijs.
Als je een toerist bent met weinig tijd, is het misschien beter om te kiezen voor een accommodatie in het centrum van de stad. Maar als je wel tijd hebt, is dit hotel zeker een goede optie.
Ik heb niet alleen de belangrijkste toeristische trekpleisters in Porto bezocht, maar ook de vissershaven en marktstad Matosinhos, op 20 minuten met de metro van dit hotel, bezocht en daar van de zeevruchten genoten.

Zeer goede locatie, in het stadscentrum, zeer vriendelijk personeel, ik raad het iedereen aan die een weekend wil doorbrengen. Het enige ontbrekende gemak is het feit dat er geen lift is.

Ik vond het hotel echt heel leuk! Vriendelijk personeel, kleine maar schone kamer. Ook een ideale badkamer. Voor mij is de locatie perfect, want het ligt ver van de plekken waar de meeste mensen zich bevinden, maar tegelijkertijd is het dichtbij en praktisch. 30 minuten lopen vanaf station São Bento als u heel langzaam loopt. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug

Ik heb twee weken door meerdere steden in Europa gereisd en in verschillende hostels verbleven, en tot nu toe valt deze op als superieur. Allereerst was het personeel geweldig: zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. De kamers waren schoon en goed georganiseerd, en de voorzieningen waren perfect. Eerlijk gezegd heb ik genoten van mijn tijd daar.

WWestopiaFantastic location and large common area, with inclusive breakfast and a welcome drink at their downstairs bar! The domitory is clean with all the facilities you would need, and the staff are all very nice! There are hot water in both the shower and the sink, which I really appreciate. If they could provide hair-dryer in the dorms it would be perfect, right now you can only borrow one from the reception, and you might not br in luck if someone else has taken it.

GGuest UserI stayed at Pensao França Hostel and overall had a good experience. The hostel is clean, although the room size is quite small, which is typical for backpackers. They provide both small and large towels, as well as body soap and hand soap.
There was a slight urine smell when I first arrived, but it disappeared after the bathroom was used. The bathroom has a shower with both hot and cold water available. The room is also equipped with a fan.
A microwave and an electric kettle are available for shared use on the second floor. The hostel has three floors and no elevator. The owner lives on the second floor and is very kind and friendly to talk to.
Since the hostel is located near restaurants and bars, there can be some noise from outside. However, once the windows are closed and especially when you are tired, it is not too disturbing.
The location is very convenient, as it is within walking distance of Porto city center.

Nnao51I stayed in a twin room. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was great. They provide a hairdryer and towels. You can also watch Netflix and Amazon Prime. The shower pressure was good, and the heating worked well. There wasn't a kettle in the room, but I used the shared kitchen. The location is excellent, and I'd love to stay again. The free breakfast included bread, ham, cheese, juice, and a coffee machine. The muffins were also delicious.

We stayed in a dormitory with a mix of 6 people. The room has a locker with a key, two separate toilets and two showers. The hair dryer is also very good. You can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator.
The staff was very kind and helpful.

YYPLIt was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.

DDejan SkaljacWe booked this room last minute.. The manager was very accommodating and even included a complimentary breakfast in our room rate, even though it would have a 5 euro charge extra. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom squeaky clean. The hotel is not in the city centre, but the centre is not far , easily reached by metro, 2 stops away, or a 15min downhill stroll. The decor is somewhat dated overall, but it gives the property the quaint air of a countryside pousada even though it is located in Porto city.

Mmitty-It's well-organaized hotel near a big shopping mall in Porto. Stuff are specially kind. I felt there are something more than the price.
If you are tourist who lack of time, it might be better to choose the accomodation located in the center of the city. However, If you have time, this hotel must be one of the good option.
I visited not only major tourist spots in Porto but also I welt the fish port market town Matosinhos 20 min metro ride from this hotel and enjoy the seafood there.
