The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to popular attractions. Right across the street are two large shopping malls, so dining and shopping are also very easy. The hotel breakfast features a variety of authentic Shaanxi specialties; in just one meal, I got to taste delicious dishes like beef paomo, roujiamo, shuiben beef, hulutang, and youcha. The overall service at the hotel was satisfying, friendly, and attentive, with prompt responses to any issues. Five-star rating all around!

I highly recommend MEILIE LING Homestay. It's fully equipped with excellent facilities and the service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. The location is very convenient for getting around, making sightseeing a breeze. The decor is absolutely stunning with a great aesthetic, offering plenty of picturesque spots perfect for taking amazing photos.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night. The hotel is in a very strategic and convenient location, and the check-in process was smooth and quick. The receptionist was also friendly and welcoming. However, I had two disappointing experiences during my stay. 1. The room was initially different from what I booked When I first entered my room, I noticed that it did not appear to match the room I had booked through Trip.com. The layout was different, including the location of the bathtub, and the room also seemed smaller than the one shown in the photos and videos on the booking platform. I am not sure whether the room was actually the same room category or whether I was given a different type of room by mistake. I later mentioned this to the staff at the Club Lounge. They were very helpful and immediately assisted me in changing to another room that matched the photos and videos shown in my Trip.com booking. I really appreciated their quick response and assistance. However, I was still left wondering whether the first room was given to me by mistake or whether there was some other misunderstanding. 2. The swimming pool cap policy was confusing The second experience was regarding the swimming pool. When my husband and our 2-year-old child wanted to swim, the pool staff told us that swimming caps were mandatory. Since we did not bring any, we immediately went to the pool reception desk to purchase one. At first, I only intended to buy one for my husband, but the staff told us that we had to purchase two caps, including one for our child. However, my husband noticed a sign at the pool reception desk clearly stating that swimming caps were mandatory for guests aged 3 and above. We explained that our child was only 2 years old, but the staff still insisted that our child had to wear a swimming cap, so we ended up purchasing two. After we finished swimming, I passed by the reception desk again and personally checked the sign. It clearly stated that the swimming cap requirement applied to children aged 3 and above. My child is only 2 years old, and during the time in the pool, he was simply sitting/soaking in the water while being held by his father. I initially had no problem purchasing the cap because I was happy to follow the hotel’s rules. However, after seeing the actual policy on the sign, I couldn’t help but wonder why the staff insisted on making us purchase one for a 2-year-old without first asking about his age. If the intention is for swimming caps to be mandatory for all ages, then perhaps the wording on the sign should simply be changed to reflect that rule. 😃 Otherwise, the current situation is quite confusing and, honestly, a little ironic. When checking out, I mentioned this issue to the receptionist. She apologized and kindly gave me a small Xi’an refrigerator magnet as a gesture. Thank you — I genuinely appreciated it. Overall, the hotel has a great location, and some of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, these experiences left me somewhat disappointed with my stay. I hope the hotel can clarify these policies and improve communication between staff members in the future. Thank you.

I couldn't wait to write a glowing review for this hotel the moment I checked out. With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, they gifted us a large box of mooncakes upon check-in, which was such a thoughtful touch! As a guest, you get free access to the scenic area, and the gardens are incredibly relaxing. For the evening performance, there's a dedicated entrance, saving a lot of time. The hot springs were also amazing; after watching 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' they had already drawn a bath for us. Soaking under the osmanthus trees in the courtyard, enveloped in the scent of autumn, I had the most peaceful sleep. I visit Xi'an every year, and this is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed in here. Next time, I hope to bring my family for a short stay.

Booked a family room, which was very spacious and well-equipped. The hotel has excellent play facilities, and my kids had a fantastic time. There's a cotton candy machine in the lobby where the children can make their own cotton candy. The front desk service was also great, especially Diego, who was very enthusiastic. Consistent with Ascott's usual high service standards.

I came for a staycation the night before school started, and I was torn between the InterContinental Economic Development Zone and the InterContinental High-tech Zone. Since I hadn't been to the High-tech Zone one, I decided to give it a try. The hotel opened in 2019 and was renovated in 2023. It's located next to Yanping Gate, with plenty of good food nearby, though it's a bit far from tourist attractions. As a Platinum Ambassador, I was pre-upgraded via email to an open-plan suite, but due to a cleanliness issue, I was moved to a one-bedroom suite. The room featured Byredo BLANCHE toiletries and a Dyson hairdryer. It's worth mentioning that the bathrobes in the room were unique and very comfortable to wear. The overall decor of the room was dominated by dark-toned stone, a classic InterContinental style. The biggest highlight of the one-bedroom suite was a huge circular bathtub, about a meter in diameter, which was incredibly comfortable for soaking. This bathtub might just be the best in Xi'an. Before checking in, I had heard that the hotel's F&B was excellent, and my experience confirmed it. The lounge's afternoon tea was decent, though it did include carbs like Liangpi or Liangmian (cold noodles), which is very Xi'an. However, the happy hour was fantastic, with about 7-8 hot dishes, many cold dishes, and a wide selection of drinks. A bartender from the lobby bar even came specifically to mix drinks during happy hour. The overall quality of the lounge could rival the Ritz-Carlton Xi'an. The breakfast selection was even more outstanding, with freshly made Roujiamo (meat burgers), Cheong Fun, and beef noodles, all tasting delicious and full of local flavor. And because it's in the High-tech Zone, there were fewer children in the lounge, making the overall experience much better than Marriott's lounges. The service is another aspect of this hotel that deserves high praise. It's truly surprising that a hotel in Xi'an, which is often considered a service 'lowland,' can provide service standards comparable to luxury brands. All the staff were very enthusiastic, professional, and attentive. At breakfast, all staff members would kindly greet you, and because the breakfast area is quite large, they would also help you get some food. Regarding service, I must specifically commend Fiona & Rita from the lounge, and the duty manager Jennifer. Due to staying up late watching the US Open, I only got a quick glimpse of the fitness facilities. The changing rooms had plunge pools, and the pool water temperature was moderate, though the length was a bit short. It meets standard five-star expectations. Overall, the hotel industry in Xi'an is very competitive, with the W Hotel flagship, the Hualuxe and Westin near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, two JW and InterContinental hotels in the High-tech Zone and north of the city, and two Grand Hyatts and one Hyatt Regency already open, with Park Hyatt also on the horizon. The name InterContinental High-tech Zone might easily be overlooked among these, but among all the hotels I've stayed at in Xi'an, this one definitely ranks in the top three.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Bell Tower. We took Metro Line 2 from Xi'an North Station, and the hotel entrance is right by a Line 2 station, making getting around incredibly convenient. Line 2 is the main north-south line through Xi'an's central urban area, allowing transfers to most other lines along the way, so you barely need a taxi. The room was clean and tidy, the air conditioning was very powerful, and it was very quiet at night for a good rest. The smart toilet had many functions and was very comfortable to use. Breakfast was delicious, with a self-service Roujiamo station. There are plenty of great food options around the hotel, satisfying all tastes within walking distance!

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel used to be the old Tang Hua Hotel, and the courtyard has pavilions and ancient trees. Strolling by the lake in the evening was especially comfortable. The location is also convenient; the Big Wild Goose Pagoda is just a short walk away, making it easy to return at night. David handled everything smoothly from check-in to check-out, answering all my questions. Jasmine recommended breakfast stalls and nearby small shops that suited my taste, and she reminded me to go during off-peak hours, which saved me a lot of hassle. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

The service was excellent; staff greeted us proactively every time. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both Spanish delicacies and local Xi'an specialties. We paid extra to upgrade to an executive room, and the afternoon tea was substantial. The executive breakfast, which allows à la carte ordering, is highly recommended. The hotel's location is fantastic, close to major attractions and with convenient transportation.

The hotel is super conveniently located for exploring nearby attractions. It's just a 200-meter walk to Yongxingfang and Zhongshan Gate City Wall, and there's a night market with street food within walking distance too. The hotel breakfast is incredibly rich and diverse; their oil-splashed noodles (youpo mian) are even more authentic than what you find at local noodle shops, and the sticky rice cake (zheng gao) is delicious. The hotel itself is decorated in an elegant, antique style, feeling both high-end and grand. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the price is really affordable. In short, it completely exceeded my expectations – it was very comfortable. Because I had a late train to Huashan in the afternoon, I asked the hotel if I could have a late check-out until 3 PM, and to my surprise, the front desk readily agreed. It was very accommodating and thoughtful.
