"De kamer bood inderdaad direct uitzicht op zee. Beneden bevonden zich de Erhai-rondvaartboten en het Erhai-park, wat de locatie erg gunstig maakte. De kamer was bovendien erg ruim. We hebben twee avonden lang heerlijk films gekeken via de projector in de woonkamer. Het enige minpunt was dat er nogal wat niveauverschillen in de kamer waren, waardoor je extra voorzichtig moest zijn als je 's nachts opstond."

"The room was so clean and completely renovated. The location was great. The reception helped find the visiting places. When you are booking the hotel via this APP, make sure the information is updated! For the room I booked it was written that the room has a lake view but unfortunately, when I got my room it had a building view! I contacted “customer service”, and they gave me some “coins” in the APP as compensation. I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Dali."

"Had a wonderful stay at Mengling Yayuan Hotel in Dali from 19 to 21 December 2025. The staff were exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make my visit memorable—from a smooth check-in to thoughtful local recommendations, their hospitality truly stood out. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with modern amenities that made the stay both comfortable and convenient. I especially enjoyed the daily local breakfast options of noodles or congee, the relaxing afternoon tea, and the delicious desserts served in the evening. As we had an early checkout, the staff thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for our onward journey, which was greatly appreciated. Perfectly located just a few metres from the entrance to Dali Old Town, the hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the area. "Een verblijf in Honglingge Inn in Dali was een waar paradijs! De faciliteiten waren top, overtroffen mijn verwachtingen volledig en droegen enorm bij aan mijn reis! De locatie van de herberg is ongelooflijk gunstig, direct naast de straten en steegjes van de oude stad, en op slechts enkele minuten van het Erhai-meer, waar je heerlijk kunt wandelen. Het betreden van de binnenplaats was adembenemend; het Chinese tuinontwerp, met zijn kunstmatige heuvels, stromend water en retro lantaarns, was prachtig. De gemeenschappelijke ruimte had ongelooflijk comfortabele rotan stoelen en theetafels, compleet met gratis thee en theeservies. Het zetten van een pot thee en genieten van het landschap was zo ontspannend dat ik niet meer weg wilde. Kortom, mijn verblijf was absoluut zalig en ik zal deze plek zeker weer kiezen de volgende keer dat ik in Dali ben."

"Wat een fantastisch verblijf! Het hotel ligt in het Erhai Park, in Xiaguan, niet ver van het hogesnelheidstreinstation en het busstation. Je stapt letterlijk de deur uit en staat bij het Erhai-meer. Zowel de receptie als de medewerkers bij het ontbijt waren uitzonderlijk vriendelijk en attent, wat een warm en gastvrij gevoel gaf en de algehele verblijfservaring echt top maakte. De kamers met zeezicht waren niet eens zo duur, slechts een paar tientjes meer dan de standaardkamers. Wij hadden een standaardkamer geboekt; de prijzen waren laag in het laagseizoen. Vanaf het dakterras kun je trouwens ook van het zeezicht genieten. Het is een particulier hotel, maar het voelt veel professioneler aan dan de meeste guesthouses. De kamers zijn behoorlijk groot en het beddengoed is heerlijk comfortabel. Het ontbijt bood niet een enorme variëteit, maar het was zeker goed. Alles wat je nodig hebt, was aanwezig en het smaakte bovendien heerlijk."

"This newly opened Hilton is incredibly close to the airport, and you can walk to Xingsheng Bridge to see Erhai Lake in just 10 minutes, making its city location extremely convenient. You can tell the hotel's decor is top-notch; the lobby is spacious and grand, the color scheme is pleasing, and the rooms are tidy with quality materials. Even though it's new, there was barely any lingering smell in the room, which was very reassuring. We actually arrived two days earlier, and to our surprise, we happened to see Guo Yuxin and Wang Haozhen, lead actors from Hongguo Short Drama, filming in the hotel lobby. Looks like this Hilton has some serious clout!"

"De be & be ligt in de oostelijke poort van de oude stad Dali, naast Mixue Ice City. Het is vrij gemakkelijk te vinden. Ik heb deze be & be van Xiaohongshu aanbevolen. Misschien waren mijn verwachtingen een beetje hooggespannen, maar ik was behoorlijk teleurgesteld was relatief klein. De kant van de weg is erg luidruchtig en de geluidsisolatie is niet goed. Het wordt eigenlijk stil rond 12.30 uur in de avond. Vrienden die een goede slaapkwaliteit hebben, maken zich geen zorgen is goed."

"We were welcomed by a bunch of adorable cats!! Cats were definitely the highlight of our stay here 🐱 They also have a very beautiful garden with well maintained amenities. View from our room was great too, very spacious room with a wide range of facilities including mini clothes dryer, wooden foot bath tub, toiletries (toothbrush, comb, shampoo, towel etc.). Location was not bad, near 大理古城南门 but other tourist spots were quite distant so we had to take didi, breakfast was okay. Overall, worth every penny, would visit again (for the cats) 😸"

MMrs LeafIf I could, I’ll give a score of 100/10! This is such a fantastic experience staying here. What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too! Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!! And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time. The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp. Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent? Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit? And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍

YYuki Serene AngI had an extremely enjoyable stay at Mr Ma’s accommodation. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and sincere hospitality. Throughout our stay, he assisted us with every need and often went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. We loved our time here so much that we extended our stay to a total of six nights! We were deeply touched by his generosity and the thoughtfulness he showed every single day. Each morning, he checked in on us, asked if we had slept well, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a family-run accommodation, and every member of the Ma family was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Mr Ma even took special care to accommodate my daughter’s cat allergy by keeping their cats away from the common areas — a gesture we truly appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the meaningful conversations we shared with the family. We exchanged stories about our respective countries, shared insights about our cultures, and learned so much from one another. These heartfelt chats made our stay feel even more personal, and we genuinely enjoyed connecting on a deeper level beyond the usual host–guest interactions. The room facilities were excellent — warm blankets, electric heating pads, newly installed air-conditioners, towels, a hair dryer, and a kettle. And every morning, we were greeted with a comforting bowl of noodles lovingly prepared by Mrs Ma — such a heartwarming way to start the day. The location is ideal as well: close to the bustling streets and ancient town, with the mountains and lake just nearby. We enjoyed sitting on the top-floor balcony in the cool, crisp morning air, taking in the peaceful mountain views. Mrs Ma also shared wonderful food recommendations, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. During our stay, we met international travellers from France, and the Ma family communicated effortlessly using translation apps. It’s clear they have plenty of experience hosting guests from around the world. We also made a short trip to Lijiang, arranged through Mr Ma’s recommendation — a comfortable 9-seater car that picked us up directly from the accommodation and dropped us off at our next destination. I highly, highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and warmth shown to us throughout our stay — right up until the moment we left, when Mr Ma personally helped us with our luggage. Before you leave, be sure to take a photo with the family, and don’t miss the chance to chat with Mr Ma’s son, who is very eager to practise English with travellers. Wishing this humble, hardworking, and generous family all the very best. Everything was nicely prepared and felt like a proper home. She even arranged a free ride from the railway station, which we truly appreciated after a long day of travel. 🚧 Outside facilities: This is where it gets a bit mixed. The overall apartment complex (including the parking lot and elevator) felt poorly maintained, and the atmosphere at night was dark and slightly eerie, especially for solo travelers or couples. Many neighboring units seemed unoccupied, which added to the quiet, empty vibe. 📍 Location: Take note—this place is about 50 minutes from Dali Ancient City, so it’s not ideal if you’re planning to explore the old town daily. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location. Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

DDELWYNTI had an amazing stay at Anyu Dali, and their hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even coordinating with the Didi driver when we were rushing to catch our railway. They went above and beyond by providing weather updates for our next destination, Lijiang, and noticing that we were unprepared for the cold, they thoughtfully gave us heat pads. As first-time guests, we were treated to complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, as well as four free laundry items for washing. The welcome gift was a lovely touch, and they even prepared a warm nighttime drink before bedtime, making our stay feel extra special. What really stood out was their attention to detail—even knowing that we would be staying at Anyu Lijiang next, they arranged to give us our farewell gift there, considering our luggage was already full. The level of service here surpasses that of many well-known hotels, and I will definitely choose Anyu again the next time I visit China. Highly recommended for those who appreciate genuine hospitality!

Voorzieningen: Compleet, de badkamer is een slim toilet, de watertemperatuur wordt automatisch aangepast als het regent, bevredigend Omgeving: De terrassen op de t****e en derde verdieping bieden uitzicht op het Erhai-meer. Service: De baas kan elk probleem perfect oplossen. Vanwege tijdgebrek bleef ik twee nachten en kon ik de afternoon tea niet halen. De locatie is een beetje ver van de oude stad, je kunt een taxi nemen, maar het is heel dicht bij de ingang van Cangshan Mountain. Ik zal overwegen om hier te blijven de volgende keer dat ik naar Dali kom?
