"Excellent stay. Very good and helpful staff who gave us an upgrade and provide great assistance during an unexpected situation. Location is very close to the train station and business district. Ancient Town and the Pagodas are a bit of a hike but we found connectivity via Didi to be easy at 35 minutes and around 40 yuans. Breakfast is amazing, we really appreciated the western options and the coffee. Special call out to the front desk team working this morning for their assistance with coordinating the delivery of our lost items from another Hilton to our next Hotel, also a Hilton. Highly recommend."

"Het is lang geleden dat ik foto's zo serieus nam. Misschien was het een lot dat me naar de voet van de Cangshan-berg trok, waar ik de chique en lieve eigenares ontmoette en zeer dierbare herinneringen achterliet! "Hilton Garden Inn's location in Dali cannot be beat. It is short drive away from several major tourist attractions (all except for the boat tour of Erhai lake, which is located near Dali station which is 30 minutes away). The view outside of my room was beautiful and I was happy to wake up everyday. However, the sun was really bright when I stayed there. The hotel surprised me with how advance it is: automated interior lighting, automatic toilet, robot delivery, automatic blinds. The only drawback was the breakfast, which is largely vegetarian based. You can sort of make your own meal with all the ingredients, but I wished it was a bit more sumptuous. The gym was on the small side. I did not use it during my stay."

Misschien waren mijn verwachtingen een beetje hooggespannen, maar ik was behoorlijk teleurgesteld was relatief klein. De kant van de weg is erg luidruchtig en de geluidsisolatie is niet goed. "This hotel is truly comfortable 🥹. I spent a long time choosing a hotel before my trip, unsure which one to pick. I saw this hotel had no bad reviews, which made me wonder if it was genuinely good or if they'd just padded it with fake positive ones. After staying there, I genuinely believe they deserve all the praise they get. I strongly recommend it! The bed, duvet, and pillows were all incredibly comfortable and dry. The pillows, whether memory foam or something else, weren't filled with cotton batting or feathers, which meant they offered great support. I found it very comfortable 😋😋, though my mom thought the mattress was a little soft – I thought it was perfect. The room was also very spacious, clean, and cozy, and the air conditioning was nice and cool! I'll say it again: they deserve their perfect rating. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit and will recommend it to others. (Oh! And the osmanthus in the courtyard smelled amazing!!) We also asked the owner for recommendations for good local food, and there's a 20-year-old Bai ethnic restaurant nearby with incredibly delicious dishes and a fantastic preserved pork rib and mushroom hotpot. Honestly, none of the hotpots we've had since arriving in Lijiang have been as good as that one.... I really miss it!"

Staying at this Bai ethnic courtyard guesthouse on Renmin Road in the ancient city was a very satisfying experience overall. The location is a real advantage, right on the core Renmin Road of the ancient city. It's super convenient for exploring alleyways, finding food, and sightseeing. It perfectly balances being lively yet quiet; despite being on a busy street, it's completely undisturbed by the crowds. The courtyard itself is serene and tranquil, offering a comfortable blend of activity and peace. The courtyard is an authentic traditional Bai ethnic residence, featuring intricately carved wooden windows, ancient tiled roofs, and lush greenery with pomegranate trees, all exuding a strong sense of antiquity. Looking out from the carved windows on the second floor, the entire courtyard view is very atmospheric. The owner is down-to-earth and enthusiastic, helping with directions and luggage upon arrival, and thoughtfully providing tips for exploring the ancient city and local culinary recommendations. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable, and the living environment is quiet and stable. For a trip to the ancient city, staying here offers both convenience and a relaxing experience. It's excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Hotel as advertised. If you like the proximity to both the ancient town and Shuanglang, the location is perfect. As it is a small establishment, the staff are very attentive and easy to reach via Weixin prior to check in. During our stay they had also proactively offered afternoon snacks, mid night sweet soup AND your breakfast preference the following day. The room is very spacous with 2 sides of the 'walls' replaced woth ceiling to floor glass. However, do be informed that the toilets and shower doors are transparent 🙈

This is the first review I have written for Ctrip and I am very pleased to stay at the property. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in October and received excellent service. We visited from oversea and the owner of the property, Mr. Li, was very hospitable and arrange everything for us. He helped us booked dinners and transportation by finding the local's price and avoiding tourist trap for foreigners like us. He also upgraded us to a bigger suite with a huge terrace with a nice lake view. The property is well managed and everything is as described as listed. We also received fresh rose flower cookies as gift to taste the Yunan specialty. We had a really nice stay and are very appreciated for his service and highly recommend to other travellers whether from local or out of town.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us moved the luggage from the drop off point to the hotel and booked a ferry service for my family. The hotel was very tastefully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of clothes hook in the bathroom for you to hang clothes when you bath. The local breakfast set was very big in portion and tasty. The hotel is located on a little island that is linked to the main land by a small bridge. The whole shuanglang gu zhen is very busy and lots of shops to walk around.

This is probably one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful and welcoming, Cloud House! Appreciate you!!!

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless—staff greeted me warmly at the pick-up point and efficiently transported me to the hotel via buggy. They kindly prepared the room early so I could check in ahead of time and rest. The location is breathtaking, with a stunning view overlooking Erhai. Waking up to the sunrise right in front of the lake was unforgettable, and the hotel even has a rooftop deck where I could enjoy the view in a peaceful, open setting. One of the highlights of my stay was the coffee—rich, beautifully presented, and complimentary. It was honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The staff were consistently positive, engaging, and incredibly helpful. They assisted me with everything I needed, including booking an e-scooter through their local app since I didn’t have a Chinese number. They went out of their way to help, never once showing any reluctance or frustration. My room was spotless and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like a water dispenser and humidifier that made my stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight—delicious, heartwarming, and clearly prepared with care. There are a few small improvements that could elevate the experience even further: a small bench to sit on while putting on shoes, a jacket hanger near the entrance, and blinds that could be adjusted to a half-height setting rather than just fully open or closed. That said, these are minor details in what was otherwise an exceptional stay. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

Het meest bevredigende verblijf tijdens mijn reis naar Yunnan. Zowel de hardware als de butlerservice van het hotel waren veel duurder dan de prijs van het hotel. De bovenste verdieping van het hotel kijkt uit op de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer. Als u de tijd heeft, kunt u genieten van de veranderingen in licht en schaduw gedurende de dag. Hierdoor vertraagt ​​de tijd en komt u tot rust. De huishoudsters van het hotel zijn allemaal erg jong, zowel de knappe mannen als de mooie vrouwen zijn erg attent. I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel's overall environment was clean and elegant. The room was spacious, and the cleanliness was meticulous. Facilities like the bathroom and appliances were in good working order and provided a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and gentle, check-in and check-out were efficient, and communication was smooth when issues arose. The surrounding area has convenient transportation, making dining and getting around effortless. The guest room area was quiet at night, allowing for good rest. Overall, there were no disappointments; everything exceeded expectations, and the price was reasonable. It was a very pleasant accommodation experience. I will definitely book here again if I return to the area and would recommend it to friends traveling here.

Friendly and convenient hotel. Able to walk around the Dali Santorini area from the hotel. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Quick response to questions via WeChat group chat with the staff. Breakfast has 2 options - Chinese style with rice noodles or Western style with spaghetti. Both are very delicious. Would recommend staying here.

De huishoudster was erg verantwoordelijk en de hygiëne was uitstekend, maar de hotelfaciliteiten waren wel wat verouderd. In Haiyin Village, Wase Town, ontdekte ik een plek met een werkelijk adembenemend uitzicht! Een paar dagen geleden verbleef ik in een luxe pension op de kruising van de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer. Toen ik 's ochtends de gordijnen opendeed, was ik verbluft door het uitzicht! Het Erhai-meer leek wel een gigantische spiegel; het ochtendzonlicht glinsterde op het oppervlak en de verre Cangshan-berg verscheen en verdween in de mist, als in een sprookjesland. Het Fansu Guanyun Guesthouse waar ik verbleef, ligt in Haiyin Village en de locatie is werkelijk fantastisch! De kamer kijkt direct uit op de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer en biedt een weids uitzicht. 's Ochtends op het terras, nippend aan een kopje thee en kijkend naar de mistige Cangshan-berg, voelde ik me volledig ontspannen. Het ontwerp van het pension was ook doordacht, met een multifunctionele lobby, een theekamer en een boekenbar. Mijn favoriet was het dakterras; 's Nachts kon je de sterren tellen, en overdag was het een spiegel die de hemel weerspiegelde!
