4-Starhotels in Dali

Booking Anqiu Residence among all the B&Bs in Dali was truly our good fortune. The location is convenient for getting anywhere, and it's a Bai-style courtyard that's incredibly quiet. The cleanliness goes without saying – it's super clean, and the bedding and other daily necessities are all carefully selected. We had a very comfortable stay here. The owner is also exceptionally kind; they would wait for us to return before closing the outer gate, even when we left early and came back late. The breakfast was also very thoughtfully prepared, and in the afternoon, they'd even provide fruit and a goodnight dessert. I love this kind of refined, carefully managed B&B. I believe no one who stays here wouldn't like it~

Hotel as advertised. If you like the proximity to both the ancient town and Shuanglang, the location is perfect. As it is a small establishment, the staff are very attentive and easy to reach via Weixin prior to check in. During our stay they had also proactively offered afternoon snacks, mid night sweet soup AND your breakfast preference the following day. The room is very spacous with 2 sides of the 'walls' replaced woth ceiling to floor glass. However, do be informed that the toilets and shower doors are transparent 🙈

This is probably one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. It is about 10mins walk from Dali Ancient City and the central stay in the midst of a busy city. The homestay was such a pleasant surprise for me and my family because the amenities are clean, so are the owner of the homestay for being so kind and nice. They even recommend places for us to look around and reminded us to avoid tourist scam area so that we'd not spend unnecessary money. Overall, a good homestay and I'd definitely revisit this place for my future stay in Dali!

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless—staff greeted me warmly at the pick-up point and efficiently transported me to the hotel via buggy. They kindly prepared the room early so I could check in ahead of time and rest. The location is breathtaking, with a stunning view overlooking Erhai. Waking up to the sunrise right in front of the lake was unforgettable, and the hotel even has a rooftop deck where I could enjoy the view in a peaceful, open setting. One of the highlights of my stay was the coffee—rich, beautifully presented, and complimentary. It was honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The staff were consistently positive, engaging, and incredibly helpful. They assisted me with everything I needed, including booking an e-scooter through their local app since I didn’t have a Chinese number. They went out of their way to help, never once showing any reluctance or frustration. My room was spotless and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like a water dispenser and humidifier that made my stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight—delicious, heartwarming, and clearly prepared with care. There are a few small improvements that could elevate the experience even further: a small bench to sit on while putting on shoes, a jacket hanger near the entrance, and blinds that could be adjusted to a half-height setting rather than just fully open or closed. That said, these are minor details in what was otherwise an exceptional stay. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

My entire stay was excellent. The front desk staff were warm, thoughtful, and communicated with a gentle and patient demeanor. They proactively informed me about hotel amenities and gave helpful tips for local attractions. Their efficiency was impressive. The room was spotlessly clean, the environment was quiet, and I had a very high-quality rest. You could feel the attention to detail in every aspect, and the value for money was great. I'll definitely book here again next time I'm in the area.

De be & be ligt in de oostelijke poort van de oude stad Dali, naast Mixue Ice City. Het is vrij gemakkelijk te vinden. Ik heb deze be & be van Xiaohongshu aanbevolen. Misschien waren mijn verwachtingen een beetje hooggespannen, maar ik was behoorlijk teleurgesteld was relatief klein. De kant van de weg is erg luidruchtig en de geluidsisolatie is niet goed. Het wordt eigenlijk stil rond 12.30 uur in de avond. Vrienden die een goede slaapkwaliteit hebben, maken zich geen zorgen is goed.

Ik werd aangetrokken door de foto's op internet🥲 De B&B ligt niet in het midden en is daardoor aan de straatkant gelegen. Het is gericht op de buitenstraat, niet op de binnenstraat. Er zijn hier echt té veel homestays, allerlei soorten, de ene naast de andere, zó veel! Eigenlijk wilde ik het opgeven en pas boeken als het zover was, maar toen bedacht ik me dat het toch beter was om alvast te boeken! We hadden wat problemen met de huishoudster, omdat we de locatie van het hotel niet precies kenden. Mijn man werd boos omdat we het warm en moe hadden en een heel eind liepen. De huishoudster is echter ook zeer proactief in het oplossen van problemen, wat wij waarderen. In elke sector, op elk tijdstip en overal waar mensen zijn, zullen zich problemen voordoen. Maar zolang we bereid zijn om ze op te lossen, geloof ik dat alles binnen ons bereik ligt! We hadden geen tijd om daar foto's te maken, noch hadden we tijd om andere kamertypes te bezoeken😢 Ook al heb ik het zelf niet bezocht, toch vind ik de foto's op internet betrouwbaarder! Tegenwoordig zijn veel gastgezinnen voorzien van slimme toiletten en wegwerpschoonmaakproducten, wat eigenlijk best wel fijn is! Bovendien is er extra tandpasta aanwezig in de Darling Room! Ik zag wegwerphanddoeken bij de receptie, maar ik weet niet zeker of ze kosten met zich meebrengen, want ze liggen niet op de kamer! Wij hadden ze zelf meegenomen, dus we hoefden er niet om te vragen! Direct buiten de B&B kunt u auto's en elektrische scooters huren. Het is ook handig om te voet op zoek te gaan naar eten. Iedereen die rijst met de handen eet, moet erop letten dat er geen spoilers worden achtergelaten 🌚 Over het algemeen ben ik erg tevreden, ik hoop dat het beter kan!

De huishoudster was erg verantwoordelijk en de hygiëne was uitstekend, maar de hotelfaciliteiten waren wel wat verouderd. In Haiyin Village, Wase Town, ontdekte ik een plek met een werkelijk adembenemend uitzicht! Een paar dagen geleden verbleef ik in een luxe pension op de kruising van de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer. Toen ik 's ochtends de gordijnen opendeed, was ik verbluft door het uitzicht! Het Erhai-meer leek wel een gigantische spiegel; het ochtendzonlicht glinsterde op het oppervlak en de verre Cangshan-berg verscheen en verdween in de mist, als in een sprookjesland. Het Fansu Guanyun Guesthouse waar ik verbleef, ligt in Haiyin Village en de locatie is werkelijk fantastisch! De kamer kijkt direct uit op de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer en biedt een weids uitzicht. 's Ochtends op het terras, nippend aan een kopje thee en kijkend naar de mistige Cangshan-berg, voelde ik me volledig ontspannen. Het ontwerp van het pension was ook doordacht, met een multifunctionele lobby, een theekamer en een boekenbar. Mijn favoriet was het dakterras; 's Nachts kon je de sterren tellen, en overdag was het een spiegel die de hemel weerspiegelde!

Het hotel ligt op een goede locatie, zeer dicht bij de oude stad, op slechts 7,8 minuten lopen. De kamer is groot, net als op de foto. Het bed is zeer comfortabel, schoon en hygiënisch. Het hele huis is slim en erg handig in gebruik. Het hotelontbijt is zeer uitgebreid, een echte aanrader! Het personeel was erg behulpzaam en ik had een geweldige ervaring om daar 2 nachten te blijven. Het hotel ligt aan de Cangshan-berg en kijkt uit over het Erhai-meer. U kunt op het dakterras zitten om van het landschap te genieten en de zonsopgang te bekijken.
