4-Starhotels in Dali

This is probably one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed in. Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped us moved the luggage from the drop off point to the hotel and booked a ferry service for my family. The hotel was very tastefully designed and the bed was very comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of clothes hook in the bathroom for you to hang clothes when you bath. The local breakfast set was very big in portion and tasty. The hotel is located on a little island that is linked to the main land by a small bridge. The whole shuanglang gu zhen is very busy and lots of shops to walk around.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless—staff greeted me warmly at the pick-up point and efficiently transported me to the hotel via buggy. They kindly prepared the room early so I could check in ahead of time and rest. The location is breathtaking, with a stunning view overlooking Erhai. Waking up to the sunrise right in front of the lake was unforgettable, and the hotel even has a rooftop deck where I could enjoy the view in a peaceful, open setting. One of the highlights of my stay was the coffee—rich, beautifully presented, and complimentary. It was honestly one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The staff were consistently positive, engaging, and incredibly helpful. They assisted me with everything I needed, including booking an e-scooter through their local app since I didn’t have a Chinese number. They went out of their way to help, never once showing any reluctance or frustration. My room was spotless and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches like a water dispenser and humidifier that made my stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was another highlight—delicious, heartwarming, and clearly prepared with care. There are a few small improvements that could elevate the experience even further: a small bench to sit on while putting on shoes, a jacket hanger near the entrance, and blinds that could be adjusted to a half-height setting rather than just fully open or closed. That said, these are minor details in what was otherwise an exceptional stay. This was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

My stay at Hilton Garden Inn Dali Erhai Park was absolutely fantastic! The location is a huge plus, very close to Yunxiang Mountain, which made it super convenient to drive over and see the Erhai Fish Lanterns at night. After enjoying the night view, it wasn't a long drive back to the hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept really well after a long day. The front desk staff were friendly, handled check-in efficiently, and were quick to respond to any questions. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted authentic, leaving me feeling full. The hotel environment is quiet, and it's easy to get around for meals. If you're coming to Dali to see the Fish Lanterns, this hotel is a great choice. I highly recommend it for both self-driving and family trips, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Deze keer kwam ik met vrienden om te spelen en tevreden met de ervaringen te delen. De openbare ruimte is groot, de omgeving is goed, de receptiedienst is ook goed, het is snel om te gaan, de kamer is volledig, het bed is zeer comfortabel, omdat de verblijfstijd is laat en ik help de kamer gratis uit te stellen, zeer goed, Er is gratis mineraalwater en drank, de kamer is groot, het beste punt is dat deze kamertype bed kan worden verbonden met een grote bed. What a perfect little hotel, with service and amenities rivaling those of five-star hotels we have stayed in in other countries. We stayed for 4 nights and wished it was longer. The concierge 00管家 is extremely considerate and maintained constant communication with us through WeChat, including for airport pickup and drop off which the hotel provided free of charge. Huge thanks to 00管家 for a seamless stay. As for the hotel, we were immediately impressed by the tranquil and beautifully designed premises. The room was also beautiful - and the bed SUPER COMFORTABLE. There is nothing we lacked during our stay. We could also easily order takeout via ******* and eat while watching TV on the cosy sofa in the room. Our stay also include daily breakfast, afternoon tea, and nightly Chinese dessert. They were all delicious. 00管家 will contact us everyday to check if and when we would like to eat. There are several small eateries and convenience stores near the hotel. Our favourite was a tiny craft beer bar called 小卖部 - highly worth checking out. Last but definitely not least, the hotel has a resident corgi puppy Nono who stole our hearts. We were happy to just chill in the hotel lobby to play with Nono everyday. He even accompanied us on one of our car rides to Dali ancient town. Friendly and convenient hotel. Able to walk around the Dali Santorini area from the hotel. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Quick response to questions via WeChat group chat with the staff. Breakfast has 2 options - Chinese style with rice noodles or Western style with spaghetti. Both are very delicious. Would recommend staying here.

Het meest bevredigende verblijf tijdens mijn reis naar Yunnan. Zowel de hardware als de butlerservice van het hotel waren veel duurder dan de prijs van het hotel. Sehr schöner, ruhiger Ort nah am See. Viele Pflanzen und Blumen in den Räumen und außerhalb. Wir haben bei Ankunft ein Upgrade unseres Raums bekommen, es wurden Fahrräder bereitgestellt von der Unterkunft und meine Freundin hat Medizin bekommen als es Ihr nicht gut ging. Sehr gastfreundschaftlich, schön und damit zu empfehlen.

De huishoudster was erg verantwoordelijk en de hygiëne was uitstekend, maar de hotelfaciliteiten waren wel wat verouderd. In Haiyin Village, Wase Town, ontdekte ik een plek met een werkelijk adembenemend uitzicht! Een paar dagen geleden verbleef ik in een luxe pension op de kruising van de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer. Toen ik 's ochtends de gordijnen opendeed, was ik verbluft door het uitzicht! Het Erhai-meer leek wel een gigantische spiegel; het ochtendzonlicht glinsterde op het oppervlak en de verre Cangshan-berg verscheen en verdween in de mist, als in een sprookjesland. Het Fansu Guanyun Guesthouse waar ik verbleef, ligt in Haiyin Village en de locatie is werkelijk fantastisch! De kamer kijkt direct uit op de Cangshan-berg en het Erhai-meer en biedt een weids uitzicht. 's Ochtends op het terras, nippend aan een kopje thee en kijkend naar de mistige Cangshan-berg, voelde ik me volledig ontspannen. Het ontwerp van het pension was ook doordacht, met een multifunctionele lobby, een theekamer en een boekenbar. Mijn favoriet was het dakterras; 's Nachts kon je de sterren tellen, en overdag was het een spiegel die de hemel weerspiegelde!
