Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel Dali

Wir haben in diesem Hotel zwei Nächte als Familie verbracht, in zwei benachbarten, großzügig geschnittenen, modern renovierten und gut ausgestatteten Doppelzimmern. Das Hotel liegt in einer sympathisch-belebten Straße der Altstadt von Dali, aber dennoch wohltuend ruhig, in einem Innenhof. Der Zugang ist etwas versteckt, in einem kleinen, schmalen Stich zwischen zwei Häusern. Für den Fall, dass doch einmal etwas Lärm durch die einfach verglasten Fenster nach innen dringt, liegen Gehörstöpsel bereit. Die Altstadt mit ihren zahlreichen Restaurants, Cafés und Läden kann von hier aus problemlos zu Fuß erkundet werden, und auch der 2005 wieder errichtete Chongsheng-Tempel mit den bekannten drei Pagoden befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Erhai-See und die Cang-Berge sind problemlos und schnell erreichbar. Die Kommunikatiom klappte Dank WeChat und seiner Übersetzungsfunktion problemlos. Das chinesische Frühstück (traditionelle Nudel- oder Reissuppe, mit zahlreichen Beilagen, dazu Tee oder ein Zitronengetränk) wurde im Frühstücksraum am Platz serviert. Uns hat es geschmeckt und wir sind satt geworden. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und bei allen Anliegen prompt behilflich. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, und können das Hotel allen empfehlen, die in einer Hochburg des chinesischen Tourismus eine moderne, ruhige Bleibe mit gepflegtem Ambiente suchen.

This is a small bed and breakfast hotel. Actual building is not as impressive as the one shown but room is very clean, services provided are excellent. Breakfast is simple but very good. Laundry is available. Location is accessible by car, it can be slightly noisy at night because live music bars are not far from the hotel.

The location is excellent! I was concerned when walking down the very busy street that there hotel would be loud and a little tough around the edges… I was delighted to find a peaceful and well designed hotel! The room was incredibly spacious and clean. It had a lovely balcony and great facilities including a shower room and full bathtub. The reception team, both in the evening and morning, were a delight and communicated clearly with me through WeChat. I had a vegetarian breakfast which was very good. I added a lot of spice for flavour. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was a good location and aesthetics was great! Hotel staffs were also extremely helpful and respond to our requests very quickly.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Their hospitality is the best. The location is very good for full experience in Dali ancient town, every store is accessible by walk.

Hotel was located right on the streets of the ancient town and where the night market was. Plenty of food options and shopping around. Rooms were simple and comfortable. Staff were very helpful in helping with our queries, and arranging transport for us.

When I arrived back to the hotel in the afternoon there was construction work taking place and I was unable to return to my room. The two jack hammers were so loud that it was deafening in my room. Even putting in ear plugs was not suitable and the whole room was shaking. All I was told that the construction would finish by 5.30pm and that was that. I was also told that they would not return until 10am the following morning, however at 11pm there was hammering coming from the room below and the noise of people cleaning up loading a truck outside and this continued until 3am. I hardly slept. The noise from the bars and the street is bearable but the what I endured made my stay in Dali memorable for all the wrong reasons. I was promised that there would be no further construction work by the hotel and yet the builders were working through the night. I left around 8.30am next morning and the builders were back. Even without this inconvenience I don't think that this hotel is worth the money they charge. If you are like me and want a quiet hotel then I would not choose this on. Very disappointed with the whole experience. No doubt the hotel will have something to say about my review, however just to remind them I have video of the builders using the jack hammers. This was one of the worst experiences I have had travelling, not just in China but anywhere.

The place is just excellent. The owners and assistants are just gorgeous and helpful. I really hope everyone will try this place out. Location is is within ancient town. It is very crowded with people with cars coming in and out can be havoc. Suggestion to the tourist department is to close the road during night time where all the night life comes alive. But I would like to emphasize that this stay is excellent and I can't pinpoint any faults

Love the location and staff is very courtesy to help Rented a e bike near e hai gate . The hotel location was superb and service is very good My Wallet was found by car service arranged by the hotel to railway station . Hopefully return to me ASAP .
