"De be & be ligt in de oostelijke poort van de oude stad Dali, naast Mixue Ice City. Het is vrij gemakkelijk te vinden. Ik heb deze be & be van Xiaohongshu aanbevolen. Misschien waren mijn verwachtingen een beetje hooggespannen, maar ik was behoorlijk teleurgesteld was relatief klein. De kant van de weg is erg luidruchtig en de geluidsisolatie is niet goed. Het wordt eigenlijk stil rond 12.30 uur in de avond. Vrienden die een goede slaapkwaliteit hebben, maken zich geen zorgen is goed."

"Veel mensen weten niet dat na Dalí's ecologische rode lijn-actie de enige B&B's aan het water in Shuanglang overblijven. Mijn verblijf in het Sanse Yunhe Erhai-filiaal was fantastisch! Ik heb er spijt van dat ik ze vergeten was mee te nemen toen ik vertrok. De netheid was onberispelijk, elk hoekje was brandschoon.
Van de receptie tot het huishoudelijk personeel, iedereen was gastvrij en attent. Butler Wang was bijzonder attent en hielp proactief met bagage en reisroutes. De kamerprijs was inclusief een voortreffelijke afternoon tea en een dessert 's avonds. Het ontbijt was bijzonder prijzenswaardig, met een ruime keuze aan gerechten, waaronder heerlijke lokale rijstnoedels. "Een topkeuze voor een gezinsuitje! Dit hotel is gunstig gelegen en makkelijk te bereiken. Veel hotels in de oude stad zijn lastig te voet te bereiken, maar hier konden we de auto direct voor de deur parkeren, wat een enorme uitkomst was. Het ligt heel dicht bij de zuidpoort van de oude stad en er zijn veel eetgelegenheden en afhaalopties in de buurt, wat superhandig is. Vanaf de derde verdieping heb je een mooi uitzicht op de binnenplaats, perfect voor foto's, en bij regenachtig weer is dat een genot voor zowel oor als oog. De receptioniste was geweldig; ze gaf ons uitstekende tips en de service was ook top. Ze hielp ons met de bagage en toen we vertrokken, kregen we zelfs mooie bloemenkoekjes mee. Onze kinderen waren er dolenthousiast over! Bovendien was het erg schoon. Echt een enorme aanrader!"

"Excellent stay in Honglongjing hotel. Nested in the heart of Dali ancient town, you will experience Dali's vibrant atmosphere and bustling streets. The hotel's service is impeccable. Service was prompt and we were treated to Chinese tea ceremony. The villa rooms were very spotless.
The only downside was the road closures around the ancient town. This made it difficult to get to the hotel with luggage. You need a 5-10 min walk to get to the hotel as buses and cars are not allowed in the ancient town. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience"

"Het beddengoed in de kamer is zeer schoon en er is geen enkel ongemak voor de huid als u erop ligt.
Het hele huis is semi-intelligent en de sfeer in het hotel is erg prettig. Er zijn ook wegwerphanddoeken en gezichtshanddoeken beschikbaar.
Bij aankomst bleek de geboekte kamer nog niet klaar te zijn, dus ik kreeg gratis een upgrade van het kamertype.
Het hotel heeft geen bagage-ophaalservice, u zult dus zelf naar het dorp moeten lopen. De steegjes zijn smal en alleen toegankelijk voor elektrische voertuigen of driewielers. Het dorp heeft geplaveide wegen en het is niet makkelijk om koffers te trekken.
De zonsopgang wordt geblokkeerd door bomen. Loop terug vanaf de B&B en zie een klein strandje vlak bij het hartbordje, waar u de zonsopgang kunt bewonderen. (Niemand zal met je concurreren om de camerastoel)
Reizen is gemakkelijk: er is een gedeelde fiets- en tramparkeerplaats in de buurt van de homestay.
Voor maaltijden moet u naar Longkan Wharf, dat overigens niet heel dichtbij ligt. Daarom raden we u aan om de tram te nemen. U kunt ook met hybride technologie reizen. Er zullen onderweg meerdere stops zijn."

DDELWYNTI had an amazing stay at Anyu Dali, and their hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even coordinating with the Didi driver when we were rushing to catch our railway. They went above and beyond by providing weather updates for our next destination, Lijiang, and noticing that we were unprepared for the cold, they thoughtfully gave us heat pads.
As first-time guests, we were treated to complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, as well as four free laundry items for washing. The welcome gift was a lovely touch, and they even prepared a warm nighttime drink before bedtime, making our stay feel extra special. What really stood out was their attention to detail—even knowing that we would be staying at Anyu Lijiang next, they arranged to give us our farewell gift there, considering our luggage was already full.
The level of service here surpasses that of many well-known hotels, and I will definitely choose Anyu again the next time I visit China. Highly recommended for those who appreciate genuine hospitality!

All my requests and queries were answer promptly. They make good suggestion and give advice which improve my travel plans together with my family greatly.
The room was clean and tasty decorated so is the breakfast. Although it was served in a different building but it is just 3 mins way by walking.
Not to mention that the hotel are surrounded by lots of different type of restaurant, eatery, bakery and convenient stores. It is also located within walking distance to Dali Ancient Old Town and San yue street.

Not only was the location amazing (the hotel overlooks the Erhai and Cangshan, making breakfasts and any meals eaten extremely picturesque and peaceful) but the staff was incredibly kind, doing everything they could to ensure we were comfortable with our stay. On the day of our arrival, a staff came to pick us up from the taxi and carried our luggage to the hotel, making sure we wouldn't get lost. On our last day, another staff member took us to the bus station, carrying our bags and waiting until the bus came to pick us up. The hotel is located just off the main street, still next to the main shopping area, but allowing for a more quiet and peaceful environment. Everything about this hotel is beautiful, from the furniture to the rooms to the plants. We would highly recommend coming to this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful and welcoming, Cloud House! Appreciate you!!!

This is such a fantastic experience staying here.
What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too!
Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!!
And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time.
The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp.
Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent?
Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit?
And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍

YYuki Serene AngI had an extremely enjoyable stay at Mr Ma’s accommodation. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us with genuine warmth and sincere hospitality. Throughout our stay, he assisted us with every need and often went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. We loved our time here so much that we extended our stay to a total of six nights!
We were deeply touched by his generosity and the thoughtfulness he showed every single day. Each morning, he checked in on us, asked if we had slept well, and made sure we had everything we needed. This is a family-run accommodation, and every member of the Ma family was friendly, warm, and welcoming. Mr Ma even took special care to accommodate my daughter’s cat allergy by keeping their cats away from the common areas — a gesture we truly appreciated.
One of the highlights of our stay was the meaningful conversations we shared with the family. We exchanged stories about our respective countries, shared insights about our cultures, and learned so much from one another. These heartfelt chats made our stay feel even more personal, and we genuinely enjoyed connecting on a deeper level beyond the usual host–guest interactions.
The room facilities were excellent — warm blankets, electric heating pads, newly installed air-conditioners, towels, a hair dryer, and a kettle. And every morning, we were greeted with a comforting bowl of noodles lovingly prepared by Mrs Ma — such a heartwarming way to start the day.
The location is ideal as well: close to the bustling streets and ancient town, with the mountains and lake just nearby. We enjoyed sitting on the top-floor balcony in the cool, crisp morning air, taking in the peaceful mountain views. Mrs Ma also shared wonderful food recommendations, all of which we thoroughly enjoyed.
During our stay, we met international travellers from France, and the Ma family communicated effortlessly using translation apps. It’s clear they have plenty of experience hosting guests from around the world. We also made a short trip to Lijiang, arranged through Mr Ma’s recommendation — a comfortable 9-seater car that picked us up directly from the accommodation and dropped us off at our next destination.
I highly, highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and warmth shown to us throughout our stay — right up until the moment we left, when Mr Ma personally helped us with our luggage.
Before you leave, be sure to take a photo with the family, and don’t miss the chance to chat with Mr Ma’s son, who is very eager to practise English with travellers.

地理位置也非常方便：靠近苍山,三月街 ,大里古城，耳海，周围就是山景与湖景。我们特别喜欢每天清晨坐在顶楼阳台，吹着清凉的晨风，欣赏宁静的山景。马太太还推荐了几家美食，我们都吃得非常满意。
在这里，我们还遇到了来自法国的旅客，马家人通过翻译软件和他们沟通毫无障碍，可见他们接待国际旅客的经验十分丰富。我们也根据马先生的推荐去了丽江——是宽敞舒适的九座车，从民宿直接接送，非常方便。
我真心、强烈地推荐这家民宿给前来旅行的朋友们。我非常感谢他们在我们整个旅程中给予的善意与温暖，甚至直到离开的那一刻，马先生仍亲自帮我们搬运行李。

GGastgebruikerService was fantastic, the host was superb! Place was clean, convenient, and included all that one could need on a vacation. In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!
