"Het ligt heel dicht bij de noordpoort van de oude stad, maar het verkeer bij de poort is wat druk. Het is handig om 's avonds bij de kraampjes te eten. Het grootste probleem is dat het water in de badkamer op de kamer te langzaam loopt. Tijdens het badderen zijn mijn voeten kletsnat en is het toilet ook nat! Het raam kijkt uit op de centrale patio. Zelfs als de gordijnen 's nachts dicht zijn, komt er nog steeds licht doorheen, wat een beetje oncomfortabel is! De geluidsisolatie is ook wat slecht... De eigenaar is nog steeds erg aardig. Er is groen en schommels in het midden voor kinderen om te spelen! Al met al is de beoordeling nog steeds redelijk kosteneffectief!"

"De kamer bood inderdaad direct uitzicht op zee. Beneden bevonden zich de Erhai-rondvaartboten en het Erhai-park, wat de locatie erg gunstig maakte. De kamer was bovendien erg ruim. We hebben twee avonden lang heerlijk films gekeken via de projector in de woonkamer. Het enige minpunt was dat er nogal wat niveauverschillen in de kamer waren, waardoor je extra voorzichtig moest zijn als je 's nachts opstond."

"I accidentally found the newly opened homestay in Bay Bridge, and the experience is full! The authentic Bai people's houses run by the locals are elegantly decorated, with exquisite sculptures of the special walls, and full of Bai people's customs. The location is excellent, very close to the Bohai Sea, it is also very convenient to go to S Bay, and it is super comfortable to go out for a walk to see the sea. The room is fully equipped with a constant temperature kettle, the details are intimate, comparable to the five-star hotel, especially friendly to traveling with children. The manager is warm and hospitable, treats people sincerely, and also intimately upgrades the room for us. The small courtyard is quiet and comfortable, and it is comfortable to live. "The best hotel experience of this trip is mainly due to the hotel's service. The butler, Liu, is very attentive and meticulous, which is the best service I've ever experienced. Super awesome!!! The hotel scenery is beautiful, located on the edge of Shuanglang Scenic Area, and every angle is very photogenic. The room facilities are complete and considerate, and there are very complete supplies for children, clean and tidy. There is a fruit plate when we arrive. In the evening, they also send good night milk, and the children really like the kittens in the shop. Butler Liu introduced the surrounding attractions, delicious food, and matters needing attention in detail, really considering for customers, and the experience is super good. Next time I come to Dali, I will stay here again👍"

All my requests and queries were answer promptly. They make good suggestion and give advice which improve my travel plans together with my family greatly.
The room was clean and tasty decorated so is the breakfast. Although it was served in a different building but it is just 3 mins way by walking.
Not to mention that the hotel are surrounded by lots of different type of restaurant, eatery, bakery and convenient stores. It is also located within walking distance to Dali Ancient Old Town and San yue street.

This is such a fantastic experience staying here.
What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too!
Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!!
And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time.
The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp.
Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent?
Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit?
And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍

WWahehepanbisitelichalixiangjunIk vind het geen goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Afgezien van het mooie uitzicht, is het volkomen nutteloos! Ten eerste ligt het ver van de oude stad Dali, ongeveer een uur rijden. Het pension ligt hoog in de bergen, waardoor het erg onhandig is om te eten of boodschappen te doen. Het pension zelf heeft geen eetgelegenheden en de enige bezienswaardigheid in de buurt is Ideal Place; er is verder niets. Het is erg onhandig voor mensen zonder auto om zich te verplaatsen. Ten t****e, voor een kamer die meer dan 1200 yuan per nacht kost, is er niet eens een minibar. Zorg op zijn minst voor wat drinken! De kamer had slechts twee flessen mineraalwater; al het andere moest worden betaald. Er was geen eten of drinken. Ten slotte is het pension niet 24 uur per dag geopend. Als je 's ochtends haast hebt om een vlucht te halen, kan er geen ontbijt worden geserveerd. Dat is onhandig. Ze reageerden pas rond 9 uur 's ochtends op mijn sms'je. Kortom, ik vind de prijs niet in verhouding tot wat het pension biedt. Het is absoluut geen goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Ik hoop dat het pension zich kan verbeteren en deze situatie kan rechtzetten.

As a Malaysian traveler exploring Yunnan, I stayed at a homestay apartment near Erhai Lake—and here’s my honest take:
✅ Inside the homestay: Very clean, well-furnished, and cozy. Everything was nicely prepared and felt like a proper home. The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view right from our window—perfect for sunrise lovers.
👩💼 Host experience: The homestay staff was incredibly friendly and understanding. She even arranged a free ride from the railway station, which we truly appreciated after a long day of travel.
🚧 Outside facilities: This is where it gets a bit mixed. The overall apartment complex (including the parking lot and elevator) felt poorly maintained, and the atmosphere at night was dark and slightly eerie, especially for solo travelers or couples. Many neighboring units seemed unoccupied, which added to the quiet, empty vibe.
📍 Location: Take note—this place is about 50 minutes from Dali Ancient City, so it’s not ideal if you’re planning to explore the old town daily. But if you want to relax by the lake and enjoy peace and views, it could work.
Overall: Great homestay unit and host, but the apartment surroundings and distance might not suit everyone.

In the heart of Ancient Dali, this was perfect for food, entertainment, and shopping. It is also minutes away from the famous Cangshan mountain, and the host is very considerate in assisting you with any arrangement you'd like, including cabs for railway and airport transportation.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the room matched exactly the photos that are on the site. Very often this is not the case. So, all in all it was a very pleasant experience at this location.
Would definitely stay again and certainly would recommend this to anyone travelling to Dali. As a single female, I found this place to be very safe...especially with a considerate host, who looks out for you!

De locatie is een beetje ver van de oude stad, je kunt een taxi nemen, maar het is heel dicht bij de ingang van Cangshan Mountain. Ik zal overwegen om hier te blijven de volgende keer dat ik naar Dali kom?

GGastgebruikerDit is een zeer goed hotel van de vier hotels waar ik verbleef tijdens mijn reis naar Dali. Het hotel biedt een gratis ophaal- en wegbrengservice. Op het dak bevinden zich een infinitypool en een hemelspiegel, ideaal voor filmopnamen. Ook het uitzicht op het dak is prachtig, met de Cangshan-berg op de achtergrond en het Erhai-meer op de voorgrond. In de rustruimte vindt u appels en walnoten en bij het inchecken ontvangt u twee bloementaarten. De baas en alle andere personeelsleden (behalve het schoonmaakpersoneel en het keukenpersoneel zijn allemaal mannen) zijn erg enthousiast en geduldig. Als je vragen hebt, kun je altijd om feedback vragen. Op de dag van inchecken kwam ik vroeg aan en had ik oorspronkelijk geen ontbijt meegenomen, maar de eigenaar nodigde me hartelijk uit en ik kreeg een gratis ontbijt. Er zijn niet veel ontbijtproducten, maar er is voldoende. De kleine bloembroodjes en gestoomde broodjes zijn heerlijk. De kamer is schoon en comfortabel, en het beddengoed is netjes en hygiënisch. Het hotel ligt vlakbij het bruisende gedeelte van de oude stad. Al met al een echte aanrader. Kom de volgende keer zeker weer.
