"Prima locatie en lage prijs voor een grote kamer met ruime douche en gratis flesjes water. Echter, de airco werkte niet. We moesten het raam open laten staan en hoorden de halve nacht een hond blaffen. Ook matig was het bed met een veel te harde matras. Wat schandalig was is dat we een uitgerookte kamer kregen terwijl we niet roken hadden geboekt. Niemand van het personeel spreekt een woord engels."

"Absolut fantastisches Hotel. Für nicht chinesische Gäste ist es ein bisschen schwierig mit dem smarthome und den entsprechenden Schaltern zurecht zu kommen. Im Hotel wird kein englisch gesprochen und es ist etwas hellhörig, aber es ist wunderschön ausgestattet, alle sind freundlich, es riecht wie im Spa. Alles was man braucht ist da. Es gibt das, was wir für typisch chinesisches Frühstück halten. Das hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Umgebung ist auch fantastisch. Die Altstadt ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung. Nachtruhe ist ab 22 Uhr einzuhalten. Für Europäer: die Schlappen sind für im Haus, auch im Essensbereich. Keine Straßenschuhe beim Gang zum Frühstück"

"De beste keuze die we hebben gemaakt tijdens onze reis naar Datong was dit guesthouse in de oude stad! De locatie is top; op loopafstand van de Huayan-tempel, de oude stadsmuur en het Daiwang-paleis. Het is een oase van rust midden in de drukte. De binnenplaats is elegant en schoon, het beddengoed comfortabel, en de eigenaar is hartelijk en attent. Je kon kiezen tussen een ophaal- of wegbrengservice, en we kregen superhandige tips voor bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het ontbijt was ook met zorg bereid, met lokale specialiteiten uit Datong, en elke dag weer anders. We hadden eerst maar één nacht geboekt, maar het was zo comfortabel dat we er nog een nacht aan vastplakten. De binnenplaats is ook perfect voor leuke foto's. Echt een aanrader! Het heeft de charme van een oude hoofdstad en de warmte van thuis. Een absolute aanrader als je naar Datong gaat, een perfecte score!"

"This is the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in Datong. The hotel environment is excellent. As soon as I entered the room, there was a subtle, pleasant fragrance. The room was spacious and comfortable, and all the facilities were new without that 'new furniture' smell. It was exceptionally clean, and the bedding wasn't damp. I have to praise the mattress and the bathroom floor tiles. The mattress was incredibly comfortable for sleeping, and the pillows were memory foam, which was fantastic! I absolutely loved the bathroom floor tiles, they're so beautiful. Having a fridge in the room was also very convenient. The front desk staff provided excellent service too. There's a Wanda Plaza nearby, and many restaurants right outside, making it very convenient for getting around. Next time I come to Datong, I will definitely book this hotel again. It's simply perfect!"

"Een zeer bevredigende accommodatie-ervaring. De groepsaankoop via Ctrip is het geld zeker waard. Het hotel is erg nieuw en alle diensten voldoen aan de normen van de Holiday Inn-serie. De lobby is licht en schoon en het inchecken (Andy) verliep zeer efficiënt en snel. Het huis is eenvoudig, netjes en schoon. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en heerlijk (de dame die de noedels ter plekke maakt is zo aardig) en de noedels met lamsvlees zijn ook heerlijk! De sportschool is standaard. Het hotel ligt op ongeveer 6-7 minuten van de oude stad. Er zijn veel restaurants in de buurt. Het duurt minder dan een half uur om bij de grotten te komen en ongeveer tien minuten om bij het Datong Museum te komen. Zeer goed, geschikt voor familie-uitjes. De kwaliteit van de vakantie is een aanrader voor iedereen!"

"Summer vacation kicked off, so my two friends and I, along with four elementary school kids, decided to visit Shanxi to experience the rich history of its ancient architecture. It was definitely a worthwhile trip, full of amazing discoveries! As someone visiting an unfamiliar city for the first time, I felt compelled to take the time to write a review for Yunqi Shanyuan B&B. This place truly elevated our entire trip for all three families. The location is superb, right in the heart of the ancient city, making transportation incredibly convenient. In just about ten minutes on foot, we could easily reach various attractions within Datong's ancient city, like Dongnanyi, Daiwang Mansion, and Huayan Temple – all closely connected and bustling with activity! My friend meticulously researched and selected this hotel. It's relatively new since its opening, with modern and well-equipped facilities, including smart voice control (Xiao Du). It's impeccably clean, tidy, and its convenient location is beyond reproach. They even have a washing machine, a tea area, and a reading nook for kids. The complimentary buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, many of which are local specialties, and it was quite good. Finally, what truly impressed and touched my friends and me was the thoughtful and warm service from the owner and staff, from top to bottom. When we arrived in Datong after transferring from Taiyuan by high-speed train, two cars were arranged to pick us up right away. Despite the light rain, the staff had umbrellas ready and were waiting for us at the intersection, helping us with our luggage and getting us settled in. Everyone was delighted! They also provided plenty of snacks, toys, and complimentary fruit that the kids loved. Any request, big or small, was promptly addressed and arranged. The service level was on par with a five-star hotel! "《住進理想中的鬆弛感酒店，連呼吸都變甜了》 這次來大同被朋友按頭安利了SFEEL設計師酒店，它就像連接千年古韻與現代浪漫的任意門，一推開門就愛上了。從進門開始，前台的小姐姐就帶着甜而不膩的笑容就幫我們寄存從雲岡帶回的文創紀念品，推薦本地人愛去的刀削麪館，幫我們打印第二天的石窟預約單，每一個細節都妥帖又貼心，那種被重視的感覺，比熱水都暖. 房間的設計也很用心，低飽和的莫蘭迪色調搭配原木傢俱，牆上掛着藝術畫.把古城的厚重感和現代簡約風完美融合。最讓我驚喜的是窗邊的榻榻米茶台，晚上和愛人坐在那裡，泡上一壺山西老茶，看着遠處城牆的燈火，時間都跟着慢了下來。酒店的停車場也值得誇一句，車位特別寬敞，像我這種新手司機也能一把停進去，炒雞👍！ 一樓的共享區也藏着不少驚喜，前台旁的咖啡機可以隨時自取熱咖啡，還有超好吃的大同特產杏鋪伴手禮，細節裏滿是用心。旁邊的自助飲水機旁擺着幾張柔軟的沙發，逛了一天古城的人往上面一坐，疲憊感瞬間消散大半。無論是情侶約會、朋友小聚，還是帶娃出行，這家酒店都能給你超出預期的驚喜，下次來大同，我一定還會選這裏。"
