"Het is niet voorbereid op buitenlanders, het was moeilijk te vinden omdat het een deur was en het bord in het Chinees was en de naam niet in gewone letters stond, onmogelijk voor iemand van buitenaf om te vinden. Het systeem dat hij gebruikt is meer voor de lokale bevolking omdat er niemand bij de receptie is, er is zelfs geen receptie, als je aankomt moet je hem bellen om de deur voor je te openen, in mijn geval gebruikte hij een eSIM dus Ik kon niet met hem praten aan de telefoon. De man hielp me bellen met zijn mobiele telefoon, maar als die man me niet hielp, kon ik niet met de eigenaar communiceren. Ik gebruikte vooral WeChat voor alles, maar buitenlanders hebben het niet. Ik kon later via Alipay met de man communiceren, maar de man ontving geen melding van het bericht, dus een continue chat kon niet worden onderhouden. De eigenaar was zo vriendelijk om voor mijn wasgoed te betalen, omdat de code die ze gebruikten van WeChat was en ik deze niet kon gebruiken. De locatie is het beste eraan, er zijn veel goedkope plekken om te eten."

"The hotel is a great value for money! It's right in the old city center, close to the main attractions within the city and close to the buses, which will take you to the further ones (Hanging Temple and Yungang Grottoes). The rooms not only have an ac to keep you warm during the chilly nights, but also a heated mattress on the bed! Wonderfully cozy 😁! The minus of my room was that the toilet was so tiny, that I could barely close the door and I'm rather short (164cm). Currently the window view was not stunning, as it's a big construction place, but well, that's not the hotels fault and will change soon 🙂. The owners are a lovely elderly couple and there's also a kitty to greet you there 😁! It might be tricky to find the place: it's on the third floor of a building which you enter by a shop with traditional Chinese clothing for rent. Second floor is a photo studio. Despite of the few inconveniences, I'd really highly recommend this place if you are travelling to Datong! 😊"

"離大同站非常近，有電梯直接到達店門口，在5樓，老闆娘人很好，前台可以免費寄存行李，今天上午去完石窟太累，車票又是下午的，吃完午飯我躺前台沙發上還睡了一覺。 房間一起住的小夥伴素質都挺高，挺安靜的，入住時老闆會給你乾淨的三件套，需要自己套，進出都有門禁，所以安全性挺高，忘記拍前廳照片了，附上一張我的留言，和一張我比較欣賞的留言。"

"獨自旅行怕孤單？來這家青旅就對了！一進門就被温暖的氛圍治癒，公共區域佈置得温馨又舒適，有沙發、書架還有休閑區，晚上大家圍坐聊天、彈吉他，輕鬆就能認識志同道合的朋友。工作人員像朋友一樣貼心，迷路時會主動幫忙指路，身體不適時還會送來葯品，細節處全是感動。青旅整體乾淨整潔，床睡得很舒服，遮光簾和免費耳塞讓睡眠質量超棒。在這裏不僅是住宿，更像是一場温暖的相遇，收穫了很多快樂和回憶，強烈推薦給獨自旅行的小夥伴！"
