"Had a lovely stay here! I was in a 12 bed dorm but the room is very spacious and has a private bathroom/shower, all super clean, and then bed was comfy. The only thing is that the bedlight makes a sound every time it’s turned on/off: it’s funny but I was a bit worried to bother other guests. Ah, I was also able to do my laundry with no fees and was even given a little welcome bag. The location although not within the city walls is close to several bus stops and one can ride a bike easy to all the major attractions ~ which was a lovely way to explore Datong. The best thing is the staff though: incredibly helpful and friendly. On my last day they let me stay past the checkout time so that I could keep on working using their WiFi which was a massive massive help, and offered to lend me an umbrella and drive me as the rain was so heavy. Most def recommend staying here when you visit Datong!"

"This hotel is located in the heart of the ancient city of Datong. Although there were few steps of staircase leading to the entrance of the hotel and the reception was on level 2 and our room type was only available on the 3rd level. Upon check in the hotel staff by the name of Xiao Guo was very helpful and she helped us to carry our luggages to our room at level 3.. There was a small window in our room overseeing the street. The room was spacious and very clean. All corners, fixtures and furnitures in our room were wiped very clean. All amenities were provided inside the room too. The bed mattress and pillow were soft and very comfortable. Body gel, hair shampoo, hair conditioner, hand wash and clothing detergent were all good quality. 2 water bottles, toothbrush, hair comb and slippers were provided in the room. There were space to hang our winter clothing and also washed socks and inner wears. The air-conditioner was superb as it can be adjusted to 4 types of air:normal, wet reduction, cold air and warm air, hence it made our stay more comfortable. There was also an air freshener machine in the room to refresh the air inside the room. So far this is the cleanest hotel room throughout all my China trips. The housekeeper was friendly and ensure the room being cleaned up daily. Overall, I would like to compliment the hotel staff by the name of Xiao Guo for her hospitality and kindness in helping us when we asked her for any information about Datong and places to eat. Xiao Guo always smilling and her warmness has let us felt very welcomed as a hotel guest. Another compliment was to be given to the housekeeper old lady who really did a great job to ensure the cleanliness of our hotel room and the entire hotel public areas. Highly recommended this hotel to all tourist."

"Het schoonste hostel waar ik ooit geweest ben! En echt geweldige service. Super verwelkomende, behulpzame en gastvrije host waarmee we ondanks de taalbarrière heel goed contact hebben gehad. Zijn hulp bij het organiseren van ons bezoek aan de Yungan grotten en de hangede tempel waren erg fijn en ook behandelde hij ons echt als gasten in zijn eigen stad."

"1 Het is absoluut een nieuwe B&B, de kamer is groot en de indeling is redelijk. 2. Qua software zijn badhanddoeken en handdoeken wegwerpbaar en dun, waardoor ik er nog meer spijt van heb dat ik niet voor een hostel moet kiezen. Het geluidsisolerende effect is niet goed, je kunt altijd het ding-dong van de lift horen, het geluid van lopen en het geluid van rennende kinderen. Er schuilen verborgen gevaren in de stroomvoorziening. Ik weet niet hoe laat het is in de vroege ochtend. Ik hoor herhaaldelijk de stroomvoorziening van de boiler starten en het lampje knipperen. Het is eng voor de veiligheid. Ik kan de lichten en geluiden buiten de deur voelen, vooral vanwege de grote opening tussen de bovenste en onderste deuren, en ook vanwege het wachtwoordslot, waardoor ik niet rustig kan slapen. Vroeg uitchecken. 3. Ga in de toekomst niet op pad tijdens de spitsuren. Het is niet aan te raden om voor een hostel te kiezen. Beter is het om voor een oud hotel te kiezen. Een ander ding is om van tevoren een hotel te kiezen. De algehele accommodatieomgeving wordt verzorgd door de winkel en andere diensten worden niet geëvalueerd."

"Het hotel had een goede ligging, de bedden waren erg comfortabel en de eigenaar was erg vriendelijk. Helaas was de kamer zelf niet schoon. Er zat schimmel in de hoek en het tapijt was vuil. Verder was de kamer erg mooi."

"老闆人挺好，住的也挺舒服。不過就是去的時候是旺季，房費不便宜，但是已經屬於當時的便宜了，老闆養的小狗，魚，還有鸚鵡，給小店添了不少的趣味，孩子喜歡和小狗在一起玩，挺好的，老闆人特熱情，每次我都是下樓去接水，老闆熱情的做好水給倒好！"
