Je kunt er niet alleen genieten van het sfeervolle uitzicht vanuit het raam, maar je kunt ook even ontspannen op het dakterras – een goede mentale workout! De voorwaarde is wel ⛔️ dat je die knappe man (waarschijnlijk uit de Qin-dynastie) vindt om in te checken; hij is helemaal in voor snelle vragen en antwoorden! Haha! Genadeloos~ Haha~ Je snapt wel wat ik bedoel~ Ik verbleef er drie dagen en zag hem maar één keer~🦭 Nieuw hotel, frisse lucht! Uitstekende locatie! Taxi's zijn moeilijk te krijgen, maar lopen is altijd een optie! En deze locatie zal waarschijnlijk niet snel veranderen! Mijn ervaring met bezorgmaaltijden is verschrikkelijk; ze betalen twee van de drie bestellingen terug! De schoonmaakdienst was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en efficiënt! 🤟🏻 Ze waren heel goed voorbereid met benodigdheden – twee soorten tandpasta! 🫶🏼 Vóór Nieuwjaar gaven we het hotel een couplet: ”Moge rijkdom van alle kanten binnenstromen, moge geluk uw deur sieren en mogen al uw ondernemingen voorspoedig verlopen!” 🍎"

"Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. "The hotel is kind enough to upgrade my room to a bigger room due to off peak season. The establishment is clean and staff are friendly. Room has plenty of sockets including usb. Bathroom is big. Water pressure good. Laundry free. Breakfast is good. Central location near bus stop. Taxi fare to/from changbaishan train station is rmb18 each direction. Thumb up to Miss 吕 who helped me to book/amend/refund tickets to attractions. I would be delighted to stay here again."

"It's a very new hotel and it shows. Breakfast is good but a bit expensive. Free drinks, gym and laundry are very nice additions to the overall great service. Location is a bit away from the center of the town (though just a couple of blocks away), so it's more quiet there. And thank you for the free station pickup service!"

"Before the kids head into their final year of high school, we decided to take them on a trip. We've stayed at Xipo before, but this time we chose Beipo Endouli, which is located in the commercial district. After checking in, a butler helped us with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was very varied. In the evening, there was a fireworks show at the scenic area. For meals, you can eat in Endouli or head to Erdaobaihe Town, which isn't far and offers many choices, especially Korean ethnic cuisine. Overall, even if you don't go out, staying at the hotel is very comfortable. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station."

"Location is close to the forest nature park incl. waterfalls 20 min. (need additional ticket) and is directly at the hot springs bathing area 100m. The entrance ticket was included for the hotel guests. The ticket for waterfalls and vulcano lake could be purchased at the hotel. In general very nice in winter time."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel offered a complimentary pick up and drop- off service from the train station which is highly appreciated especially in the cold. The room is clean and location-wise, while there isn’t much around, I could walk to the touristy street in 15 mins with many restaurants in the vicinity. Changbaishan Visitor Center is also about 25 mins by foot. I find it quite convenient! The driver(s) also offered private transport to the various local attractions like hot spring and float down the river at reasonable rate (there is a published rate for transport provided in the hotel for reference) and at discounted price for the various attractions. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience at the hotel!"

"During the summer vacation, I brought elderly children to Changbai Mountain to play. I chose Vienna and stayed for two nights. Advantages: The newly opened hotel in the first half of this year is still very cost-effective compared to the nearby same level hotel. The facilities are new and the rooms are very clean. The service response was very fast, the toilet exhaust was not moving and the staff immediately came to deal with it, and there were robots for water and slippers. The breakfast is rich in variety and the freshly ground coffee tastes mellow. The hotel is 200 meters away from the Changbai Mountain Pool North Tourist Distribution Center, and it is very convenient to go to play. There is a beautiful young lady at the front desk and the service is very patient. We live on the first floor, outside is the community, it is a bit noisy if the window is opened. Of course, it is not a problem to turn on the air conditioner in summer. In short, this price is still very comfortable, praise."

"Room was clean and new, Breakfast is good Location is a bit far from town center, but you can travel to anywhere in the town by DiDi. Recommend for traveller who planned to visit Changbaishan North side. Additionally, There is a black cat who stay in front of hotel. Please kindly give her some cat food and clean water. She is very cute. (Cat food can be bought near the hotel). Thank you for your kindness."

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 nights stay in mid December. The great service started even prior to our stay as we had 2 personal concierge 小张 & 莹莹 assigned to us. We had requested for connecting rooms via Trip and 小张 & 莹莹 contacted us directly via WeChat. They not only helped us get connecting rooms, they also gave advice and helped to arrange for our luggages to be sent to the hotel while a private driver (additional cost) picked us from the train station to start our tour of Changbaishan immediately so that we do not have to waste time traveling. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful as well. Our room package included 3hr ski tickets and access to the natural hot spring. It was our family’s first time trying to ski and we asked our personal concierge to arrange for private coach (additional cost). Immediately upon arriving at the ski lodge the coach was waiting and led us through the entire chaotic process of collecting and wearing the gears. The hotel has direct unlimited access to the hot spring and it was also a great experience not to be missed (Don’t forget to pack your swim wear!) It even has a fish pool where we dip our whole body. There’s also a Cute Pet Paradise with different animals you can feed. Overall there’s plenty of activities for everyone and we will definitely highly recommend the hotel to everyone coming to Changbaishan."
