"The stay was great , there was butler help us arrange for station pickup and drop off . There was souvenir given to kids. However the front office staff wasn’t that helpful , we couldn’t use T3 to book taxi, the staff did not help us book a taxi, only ask us to flag taxi on the road ourselves . The smart system didn’t respond too well, wanted to open the curtain by voice command but couldn’t work, and the washing basin couldn’t drain water very well , need to use hand to open the drainage to release water."

"Location is close to the forest nature park incl. waterfalls 20 min. (need additional ticket) and is directly at the hot springs bathing area 100m. The entrance ticket was included for the hotel guests. The ticket for waterfalls and vulcano lake could be purchased at the hotel. In general very nice in winter time."

"Room was clean and new, Breakfast is good Location is a bit far from town center, but you can travel to anywhere in the town by DiDi. Recommend for traveller who planned to visit Changbaishan North side. Additionally, There is a black cat who stay in front of hotel. Please kindly give her some cat food and clean water. She is very cute. (Cat food can be bought near the hotel). Thank you for your kindness."

"It's a very new hotel and it shows. Breakfast is good but a bit expensive. Free drinks, gym and laundry are very nice additions to the overall great service. Location is a bit away from the center of the town (though just a couple of blocks away), so it's more quiet there. And thank you for the free station pickup service!"

"The hotel is kind enough to upgrade my room to a bigger room due to off peak season. The establishment is clean and staff are friendly. Room has plenty of sockets including usb. Bathroom is big. Water pressure good. Laundry free. Breakfast is good. Central location near bus stop. Taxi fare to/from changbaishan train station is rmb18 each direction. Thumb up to Miss 吕 who helped me to book/amend/refund tickets to attractions. I would be delighted to stay here again."

"Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. "We hadden een geweldig verblijf in het Lyman Hotel. De concierge was zeer handig en keek altijd op onze route. Pick-up en drop-out diensten werden verstrekt, en ze hielpen ons zelfs bij het boeken van bustickets naar Snow Town. De kamer was ruime en comfortabele, en gratis ontbijt was inbegrepen. Erg aanbevolen!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Highly Recommended! The hotel facilities are brand new and spotless, making for a fantastic stay! A special shout-out to Rora at the front desk! She was incredibly warm and friendly, always willing to help. We encountered various issues during our trip, and she promptly assisted in coordinating and resolving them efficiently and patiently, which was incredibly reassuring. The laundry room was a lifesaver on our journey! We could wash clothes that were dusty from sightseeing or soaked from rafting, and they even had a dryer. The staff were very thoughtful, helping to wash, organize, and fold our clothes before returning them to our room. This was incredibly practical for families traveling. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the hotel's hot spring experience was excellent. They even provided complimentary hot spring tickets, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak after a day of activities. The overall service was meticulous and attentive. This is definitely our top choice for travel to Changbai Mountain!"

Genadeloos~ Haha~ Je snapt wel wat ik bedoel~ Ik verbleef er drie dagen en zag hem maar één keer~🦭 Nieuw hotel, frisse lucht! Uitstekende locatie! Taxi's zijn moeilijk te krijgen, maar lopen is altijd een optie! En deze locatie zal waarschijnlijk niet snel veranderen! Mijn ervaring met bezorgmaaltijden is verschrikkelijk; ze betalen twee van de drie bestellingen terug! De schoonmaakdienst was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en efficiënt! 🤟🏻 Ze waren heel goed voorbereid met benodigdheden – twee soorten tandpasta! 🫶🏼 Vóór Nieuwjaar gaven we het hotel een couplet: ”Moge rijkdom van alle kanten binnenstromen, moge geluk uw deur sieren en mogen al uw ondernemingen voorspoedig verlopen!” 🍎"

"Het hotel ligt op een geweldige locatie! Het ligt vlak bij het toeristische distributiecentrum van de North Scenic Area, op slechts een paar minuten lopen, erg handig! Het hotel heeft zelfs een reisbutlerservice, die gratis vervoer vanaf de luchthaven regelt! Ik kwam uit Yanji en de reissteward hielp bij het regelen van een carpool (¥ 80 per persoon, de prijs is transparant, je kunt het online bekijken). De chauffeur stuurde het rechtstreeks naar het hotel, geweldig! De receptie van het hotel heeft een goede instelling!"
