"The stay was great , there was butler help us arrange for station pickup and drop off . There was souvenir given to kids. However the front office staff wasn’t that helpful , we couldn’t use T3 to book taxi, the staff did not help us book a taxi, only ask us to flag taxi on the road ourselves . The smart system didn’t respond too well, wanted to open the curtain by voice command but couldn’t work, and the washing basin couldn’t drain water very well , need to use hand to open the drainage to release water."

"Location is close to the forest nature park incl. waterfalls 20 min. (need additional ticket) and is directly at the hot springs bathing area 100m. The entrance ticket was included for the hotel guests. The ticket for waterfalls and vulcano lake could be purchased at the hotel. In general very nice in winter time."

"Room was clean and new, Breakfast is good Location is a bit far from town center, but you can travel to anywhere in the town by DiDi. Recommend for traveller who planned to visit Changbaishan North side. Additionally, There is a black cat who stay in front of hotel. Please kindly give her some cat food and clean water. She is very cute. (Cat food can be bought near the hotel). Thank you for your kindness."

"1. Gratis pick-up van het spoorwegstation De gratis pick-up service van het spoorwegstation was soepel en ongelooflijk handig. Het maakte onze aankomst stressvrij en stelde de toon voor de rest van onze verblijf. Kamer 2 De kamer was ruime en onverwacht schoon, met de toegevoegde comfort van een verwarming in de waskamera duidelijk plus punt, vooral in het koude weer. 3. Gastvrijheid De eigenaar, Mr Feng, en zijn medewerkers, met name Mr Xia, zijn juwelen, ze zijn uiterst handig, en hun intentie om de gasten te helpen is echt, ze geven steun met een glimlach en laten nooit enige weerzin tonen. Hun inspanningen maakten ons verblijf comfortabel en herinnerbaar. 4. Bijstand en regelingen Mr Feng en zijn personeel gingen boven en verder om onze reis te verzachten... en ze organiseerden een vervoer naar Xue Li Mountain en hielpen ons tickets te kopen tegen een redelijke prijs. Mr Feng kwam zelfs met ons naar een restaurant om ons in te brengen naar een nieuw gerecht, wat een heerlijke ervaring was. De volgende dag, Mr Xia hielp ons tickets te kopen naar Changbai Mountain (Heavenly Lake). Hij zorgde ook voor het verlaten van de busstation en later ophalen, waardoor het proces volledig ongemakkelijk werd gemaakt. 5. Dag Dit hotel heeft een speciale plek in ons hart... en toen we vertrokken, verlieten ze ons vroeg in de ochtend op het spoorwegstation... en Mr Feng zelf kwam tot ons afscheid te nemen... en raakte ons diep aan. 6. De laatste gedachten Hun gastvrijheid bevestigde ons geloof in de mensheid... en de vriendelijkheid, zorg en echte inspanningen van Mr Feng en zijn team maakten dit verblijf onvergetelijk... liefde en dankbaarheid aan hen allen."

"Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel offered a complimentary pick up and drop- off service from the train station which is highly appreciated especially in the cold. The room is clean and location-wise, while there isn’t much around, I could walk to the touristy street in 15 mins with many restaurants in the vicinity. Changbaishan Visitor Center is also about 25 mins by foot. I find it quite convenient! The driver(s) also offered private transport to the various local attractions like hot spring and float down the river at reasonable rate (there is a published rate for transport provided in the hotel for reference) and at discounted price for the various attractions. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience at the hotel!"

"Before the kids head into their final year of high school, we decided to take them on a trip. We've stayed at Xipo before, but this time we chose Beipo Endouli, which is located in the commercial district. After checking in, a butler helped us with our luggage. The room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was very varied. In the evening, there was a fireworks show at the scenic area. For meals, you can eat in Endouli or head to Erdaobaihe Town, which isn't far and offers many choices, especially Korean ethnic cuisine. Overall, even if you don't go out, staying at the hotel is very comfortable. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to and from the high-speed rail station."

"Changbai Mountain Landscape International Eco-Exchange Center — where “eco-exchange” really means exchanging knee joints for enlightenment 🐕🦺❄️ This old dog picked this place as a first-timer to Changbaishan because on paper it reads like a dream: ✔️ 5-minute walk to the Changbai Mountain VIP entrance ✔️ Hot springs inside the compound ✔️ “Eco-exchange” — which I later learned refers to exchanging comfort for character development Location? Prime marrow bone. 🦴 Reality, however, is a scenic winter obstacle course. The hotel is thoughtfully scattered across three separate buildings — one for check-in and breakfast, another for hot springs, and because suspense is important in life, the Food Plaza lives in yet another building. In winter. On ice. With wind that slaps. Not exactly age-old-dog friendly. I waddled. I shuffled. I negotiated with my knees. At one point I believe my soul lagged behind and had to catch up. To offset this Arctic triathlon, the staff are available 24/7 on WeChat, responding faster than I can type “why did I choose this hotel?” Efficiency deserves a respectful tail wag. 🐾 Now let’s talk Food Plaza, the hotel’s redemption arc. The food is genuinely scrumptious, warming, and emotionally supportive after being bullied by Changbai winds. Takeaway is allowed — which means you carry it yourself. Eco-exchange again. This dog fetches his own dinner. 🥸 Then there’s the hot spring schedule. Opens at 13:30. When the mountain is closed and the hot spring is closed what exactly is an old dog meant to do? Stare into the snow? Question life decisions? Age visibly? Ah yes — write this review. ✔️ ⚠️ Now, the bone that refuses to go down smoothly. Despite having a relaxed stay, I felt continuously pressed for a 5-star review — on departure day from the first meeting in the lobby to gentle reminders all the way up the bus. At that point, it stopped feeling like hospitality and started feeling like an exam I didn’t sign up for. It made me sad, actually — because it suggests staff performance may be chained to guest reviews like sled dogs pulling corporate KPIs. Trip.com, if you’re listening: no guest should ever be pressured to review. The moment reviews are pushed, ratings stop being honest and start being decorative. This old dog is an independent reviewer. I don’t bark on command. I don’t roll over for stars. And the harder the push, the more my paw hovers over the lowest rating out of pure principle. Still — despite the ice, the walking, the soul-searching — the location alone makes this a smart base for Changbaishan first-timers. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Highly Recommended! The hotel facilities are brand new and spotless, making for a fantastic stay! A special shout-out to Rora at the front desk! She was incredibly warm and friendly, always willing to help. We encountered various issues during our trip, and she promptly assisted in coordinating and resolving them efficiently and patiently, which was incredibly reassuring. The laundry room was a lifesaver on our journey! We could wash clothes that were dusty from sightseeing or soaked from rafting, and they even had a dryer. The staff were very thoughtful, helping to wash, organize, and fold our clothes before returning them to our room. This was incredibly practical for families traveling. The buffet breakfast offered a rich variety of options, and the hotel's hot spring experience was excellent. They even provided complimentary hot spring tickets, making for a wonderfully relaxing soak after a day of activities. The overall service was meticulous and attentive. This is definitely our top choice for travel to Changbai Mountain!"

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 nights stay in mid December. The great service started even prior to our stay as we had 2 personal concierge 小张 & 莹莹 assigned to us. We had requested for connecting rooms via Trip and 小张 & 莹莹 contacted us directly via WeChat. They not only helped us get connecting rooms, they also gave advice and helped to arrange for our luggages to be sent to the hotel while a private driver (additional cost) picked us from the train station to start our tour of Changbaishan immediately so that we do not have to waste time traveling. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful as well. Our room package included 3hr ski tickets and access to the natural hot spring. It was our family’s first time trying to ski and we asked our personal concierge to arrange for private coach (additional cost). Immediately upon arriving at the ski lodge the coach was waiting and led us through the entire chaotic process of collecting and wearing the gears. The hotel has direct unlimited access to the hot spring and it was also a great experience not to be missed (Don’t forget to pack your swim wear!) It even has a fish pool where we dip our whole body. There’s also a Cute Pet Paradise with different animals you can feed. Overall there’s plenty of activities for everyone and we will definitely highly recommend the hotel to everyone coming to Changbaishan."
