"Bosses and staff were caring with my altitude sickness. Great, friendly and convenient services like laundry for free at the rooftop with a beautiful view on the Potala Palace, helping out with food orders & car pick-ups and drop-offs, various trip arrangements, luggage storage and so on. The hotel has a nice authentic architecture with a big lounge area and cool temperature inside. They have a heating blanket, humidifier and if needed, also oxygen. Located just off the main road which offers quiet sleep at night. Surrounded there are eateries, fruit shops and nice traditional alleys to walk to both well-known and local places. I extended my stay and returned for another night after a trip."

"Een perfect verblijf dat de verwachtingen overtrof. Parkeren is ook erg handig. Voor wie zelf rijdt, is het absoluut de eerste keuze. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien en ruikt lekker. Het is erg schoon. Voordat we aankwamen, voegde de vriendelijke gastvrouw ons van tevoren toe op WeChat om ons de route en voorzorgsmaatregelen te vertellen. Ze was erg hartelijk en behulpzaam. Na aankomst hielp ze ook met de bagage. Ze was superenthousiast. Het observatiedek op de vierde verdieping is ook geweldig. 's Avonds ontmoette ik mijn leeftijdsgenoten in het beroemde hostel en raakte ik dronken, terwijl ik in de verte het Potala Paleis zag. Het was erg aangenaam. 位置很容易找，隔音很好，一樓在説話和打乒乓球關上門了一點聽不到，頂樓有曬衣服的，大廳有賣一些吃的和必需品，旁邊50m有診所可以吸氧（25塊），周圍有很多家藏餐店，甜茶都很好喝；沒有拖鞋需要自買像酒店那種拖鞋（1塊），是蹲廁，衞生環境還可以；床比其他青旅要寬一點，躺着很舒服，八人間是隔着的；貓咪不怕人。

Recommended by Lonely Planet, and after reading many reviews, I decided to give it a try. My conclusion is that you can experience it for one night before deciding whether to extend your stay. Firstly, the Tibetan-style guesthouse experience is fantastic. The rooftop is great for sunbathing and enjoying the view. The room has some clever design features, including radiators and electric blankets, making it more comfortable than some fancy but impractical air-conditioned rooms, especially in autumn and winter. The downsides are that the taps seem to have very little hot water, only returning to normal very late. Also, the lack of diffused heating can cause insomnia (caution advised for those prone to altitude sickness). The hotel is located in Barkhor Street, about a 15-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Backpackers should consider their travel needs before booking.

Have Lhasa hotel prices gone down? The hotel we stayed at was really affordable. Even though it's not on a main street and parking is tight with limited spots, we felt very comfortable and safe. During the day, we'd go sightseeing; bus route 24 right outside takes you directly to Zaki Monastery, Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery. The owners are friendly, always giving us an extra one or two bottles of water in addition to the standard two. They also have a great driver who helped us park perfectly. We stayed for three days, and it's quite close to Jokhang Temple Square.

At the same time the suggestion me to go one hot spring which to me is an unforgettable memory. Before I left, they gave me gift (unscented sticks & post card is totally out of my expectation. Helping me to carry my luggage’s are completely 5 stars hotel experience….hehe….🥰 I felt the whole hospitality is so wonderful & unforgettable to be. The B&B has a total of three floors. The ivy trees in the courtyard on the first floor are scattered around, giving a sense of tranquility accumulated over time. Definitely the best hotel in Nyalam. It's conveniently located right next to the county government building and has a parking lot with direct elevator access to the lobby. The rooms are clean, feature floor heating, a bathroom with wet/dry separation, and a standalone sink. However, the design and layout felt a bit impractical. Despite the spacious rooms, there isn't a proper desk or table to put things on. While the bathroom isn't small, the toilet is awkwardly squeezed into a corner, which would be very uncomfortable for taller or larger individuals, as you even have to push the shower's glass door outwards to make room. Additionally, there's no heater in the bathroom, and the hot water wasn't quite hot enough. The sink height is also awkwardly positioned, making it very inconvenient for anyone under 1.6 meters tall. Furthermore, I suggest the hotel improve its parking lot management. While there are plenty of spaces, some inconsiderate drivers, purely for their own convenience, park directly in the driveways, blocking properly parked cars from exiting.

I checked into room 208 first, but the hot water failed to heat up after 20 minutes of running, so I was moved to room 306 for free. The next morning, the maintenance man knocked on my door and asked me about the hot water supply last night. Parking is easy. Eating around is convenient.
