soo, okay. Check in took a looong time, had to fill out the form with the lady, and it took a while. She seems to have everything under control in the hostel and keeps the space quite clean, even disinfects the slippers after use. People do smoke in the corridor the rooms open to, sometimes sitting directly in front of your door. She gives you the tour of the whole place, shows you what’s what, all the while saying “please, wear this,” absolutely out of context haha. Rooms were nice, had aircon, no storage though and my biggest gripe - no locks. Cannot lock the room in any way, and anyone can walk in to the hostel from the street. I would have liked to know this when deciding on whether to stay here. Nothing suss happened during our stay but I’m not sure I can recommend staying here for this reason especially. Bathrooms also were a bit meh, a squat toilet-shower combo, one for girls, two for men and one mixed. Never had to wait to shower though. Other than that, location was good, Chengdu actually has a good bus system, 82 stops close to the hostel and can take you quite a few places in the center.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel environment was clean and spacious. Upon entering the room, there were no strange odors, and the hygiene was excellent. The bed was just the right firmness, and the soundproofing was good, so it was very quiet at night. The facilities were complete, and the toiletries were all provided and worked well. The staff were attentive and responded quickly to any issues. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby, and overall, it offers great value for money. I highly recommend it to everyone.

We are a couple from the Netherlands, and we had an absolutely wonderful stay at Zhuolonglinka Homestay — an experience we will always remember! From the moment we arrived, we received the warmest and most heartfelt welcome. We were invited to enjoy tea in the beautiful courtyard, where the meals are also served, and immediately felt completely at home. Our room was incredibly spacious, the beds were heavenly comfortable, and the modern bathroom was spotless. In fact, the entire homestay was exceptionally clean. The owners are not only incredibly friendly, but also genuinely caring and attentive to their guests. Every day, we looked forward to breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious, healthy and wonderfully varied, with different dishes prepared each day. As vegetarians, we were especially touched by how thoughtfully they adapted the meals to our wishes. Whenever we mentioned that we would not be returning for lunch, they kindly prepared homemade cakes and bread rolls for us to take along, and even gave us apples from their own orchard. What incredible service and hospitality! They also helped arrange transportation for us and were always happy to think along with us when planning our day. You can clearly see that they have built this beautiful place with so much care and love, and that they are genuinely proud to share their home with their guests. What made our stay even more special was the sincere personal interest they showed in us. Our conversations and the warmth of their hospitality made this feel like much more than simply staying at a homestay — it felt like a truly special and meaningful human connection. The sea of flowers surrounding the homestay was absolutely stunning, just like our entire experience here. Without a doubt, this place deserves a full five stars — and even more! We wholeheartedly recommend Zhuolonglinka Homestay to anyone visiting the area. The location, though a bit hard to find the reception on the first day ( its on the 18*th floor) is great for checking out Chengdu. There are lots of places to eat near by. Line 1 is only a short walk away or there are serveral buses near by you can catch. If your into walking.... Its only a couple of kms to lots of places. I liked the area as its not as full on as staying in Chunix Rd area. The apartment itself was big and very comfy with a great bed and view. My shower did take forever to drain away and the washing machine door, yes you have your own washing machine in the room, was broken so it took a bit to figure out how to get it open but other than that it was good for the price. USD$24, AUS$33, EURO€20. Also the person on reception was very helpful

I chose this hostel for my trip to Chengdu, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. The location is truly unbeatable. It's very close to the metro station, within walking distance, making it super convenient to get to Wenshu Monastery and all the major city attractions. Getting around was a breeze, and it's great value for money. I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the overall environment was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good rest after a long day of exploring. The amenities were also very thoughtful, with a laundry room and a gym, which was incredibly practical for washing clothes and getting some exercise during my trip. The biggest surprise was the public area on the ground floor. By day, it's a quiet cafe, and by night, it transforms into a bar with a fantastic atmosphere. There are even live singers performing in the evenings – the 'cafe by day, bar by night' concept was right up my alley. Sitting down to listen to music and have a drink melted away a lot of my travel fatigue. I also met many travelers from different places here, including quite a few international guests. Everyone chatted about their travel experiences, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Overall, my experience was fantastic. It's suitable for both solo travelers and those with friends. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

Amazing service and rooms. Very quiet in general. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Beds are soft and fresh, and rooms are spacious and clean. Did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several shops nearby, including a 24h convenience store. It is extremely well located with a metro station nearby. There are also several restaurants at the metro station and in the surrounding streets, all worth trying!

The hotel was good , clean. Staffs were friendly and good. 24 hrs airport pick up and drop off service. Picked me from airport at 2.30 am in the morning. It was much more than my expectation for the price. The hotel is in a rural area away from the hustles of the city. I really enjoyed my stay.

This is a small yet exquisite guesthouse with great attention to detail. I felt incredibly relaxed during my stay. It offers excellent value for money, a quiet environment, and complete facilities. The host was very friendly, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It's a fantastic option whether you're traveling solo or with friends. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard 5/5! As a girl travelling solo for the first time, I felt very safe staying and had a lot of fun. Even though it’s a hostel, the environment was comfortable and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the international power outlets, which was a huge plus for me. The hostel also offers transportation services to certain attractions and activities, making it very convenient for travellers. The location is excellent — being right next to Chunxi Road meant I could easily explore the city, try local food, and enjoy the area on foot. A special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and always happy to recommend places to visit. Their English was excellent as well, which made communication very easy. I would highly recommend this hostel to international travellers. If I visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose to stay here again! ❤️✨

The transportation here is super convenient! Wherever you want to go, you can get a taxi in seconds. If you don't want to take a taxi, there are many subway lines nearby, so you never have to worry about not being able to explore Chengdu without a car. We've already stayed for three days in a row, and if my vacation wasn't over, I'd definitely stay a few more days.
