3-Starhotels in East Java, Indonesia

I stayed at the hotel during my trip to Indonesian Volcano. The room was very large. However, it took about an hour from the hotel to the jeep transfer point to get to the volcano, as it took 5 o'clock to reach the viewing point.

The property is comprised of a small kitchen, with a worn non-stick pan and pot, and utensils, with two gas stoves, a worn small rice cooker, a microwave, and a minifridge. Worn means the non-stick coatings have been abused, which is typical of Indonesia, as no reads the instruction/care manuals of anything. The microwave vents are on its left side, and was positioned against the wall where the vents were blocked - relocating the microwave to the right side resolved this issue. The water gallon has a manual pump, and has to be relocated to occupy the stairs for use. There is no table for eating. The stairs has a low roof protrusion that you will hit your head on if not aware. There is a hidden door on the lower floor next to the kitchen to a cold-water shower and toilet, of which the wooden door is positioned next to the shower has smells of mold. The side of the kitchen bench is positioned adjacent to the window with a small uncovered gap, which there is signs it is impossible to clean. The TV was configured for headphone mode, which caused a static noise, I've changed it for speaker mode, and that has resolved the issue, and the TV looks and sounds great. There is also a fan and a couch on the lower floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with an elevated queen bed and with aircon that is quiet and cool, and the other room with a fan and two single mattresses, and there is an upstairs bathroom with toilet and shower. The shower upstairs water only lasts for 5 minutes, then requires what seems like a minimum 2 hour break - we don't know how much break it actually needs, as we only get hot water once for 5 minutes in the morning, and once for 5 minutes in the evening. We have tried to contact the property several times about this, and there has been no resolution, just responses to amount to ”adjust your expectations to not expect more hot water”. Overall, the place has enough of a kitchen to cook and store food, is exceptionally tidy sans the poorly designed gap between the kitchen bench and the window, and sans the poorly designed wooden door next to the shower on the lower floor. However, there is no functional hot water if you are more than 1 person, of which multiple people are the target market of this property.

A very good vintage hotel in Surabaya Old Tiown. Loca yes just across Taman Sejarah and near Jembatan Merah. The service is excellent, when I got a warm welcoming letter and a plate of chocolate cake.

One of the good hotels to try. Because there are many strategic places that sell cheap food and sungi because the location is in the middle of housing. The weather is cool and there is also a swimming pool. Suitable for families and couples for weekends or long holidays

Please change the door room coz there some crack on door room number 509. People can sneek into the room. Repair the hot water circulation coz both room 509 and 510 we dont get any hot water in the shower.

The location is absolutely perfect, right at the foot of the trail leading to the Kawah Ijen crater. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The cabins are spotless and brand new. They're very comfortable with excellent bedding. A fantastic place to stay for exploring Kawah Ijen! It gets chilly in the evening, so make sure to bring warm clothes. And don't hesitate to ask for an extra blanket.

A really nice hotel, it feels like a more basic version of a Hanting Hotel – comfortable and secure. The surrounding neighborhood is also quite pretty and clean. There's a restaurant on the sixth floor where you can eat or order room service, and there's a 24-hour convenience store downstairs, which is super convenient.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, even with the wildfire burning on the opposite mountain. How often do you get to sleep while watching a wildfire? It was terrifying, but the sunrise from the room the next morning was incredibly beautiful, making up for the fact that the park was closed and we couldn't go anywhere. It's nice to just relax and not chase after Instagrammable spots. However, the room facilities were severely damaged. Several aluminum windows and wooden sliding doors were on the verge of breaking and were very difficult to open and close. The bathroom drainage system was also poor; it flooded quickly after showering. The wooden cabin was freezing at night with no heating, and the duvet was incredibly thin. The facilities were definitely not okay.

Really clean room, I check few spot that might be missed by the cleaning crew but it's spotless no dust... Unfortunately there's no smart tv, I think if they plan on updating the room they should install them to make the guests more comfortable

The hotel is good, the breakfast is quite complete and worthy of being a star **. The location is in the middle of the city near the campus, it is only located in an alley not a protocol road, the reception service is good, only the hotel technician's response to complaints about TV channels is lacking. Overall good
