Dit is een gebouw van 12 verdiepingen hoog, zonder de 2 kelders mee te rekenen die volgens mij ook worden omgebouwd tot kamers
Toen ik incheckte op 29 juli 2024 en een snelle check op Trip.com liet zien dat het de hele week al volgeboekt was.
Het personeel bij de balie is altijd enthousiast en gretig om gasten te ontvangen, ze doen hun best, bijvoorbeeld door vragen te beantwoorden over reizen met metro's en hogesnelheidstreinen, enz.
Benodigdheden zoals handzeep, oordopjes, wegwerpscheerset inclusief thee, koffie en warm water zijn beschikbaar in de lobby.
Al met al is mijn verblijf van 4 nachten hier een waar voor je geld
De loopafstand naar de metro is minder dan 500 meter.

Het beddengoed voelt schoon en wit aan, net als de handdoeken. Het eten is goed, hoewel hetzelfde voor 4 dagen hehe, maar het is het waard voor de betaalde prijs, alleen de laatste dag is zo duur vanwege de vakantie. De locatie is rustig, hoewel je moe bent van de hele dag lopen en je nog een paar moet lopen, omdat het aan de laatste straat rechtdoor is van Ximending.

Het hotel is erg schoon en alles voelt nog nieuw aan. Het beddengoed was comfortabel en het bed sliep heerlijk. Wat ik het fijnst vond, was de krachtige en comfortabele douchestraal.
Het is wel een stukje rijden naar de avondmarkt in het centrum, ongeveer 20 minuten met de taxi.
Daarentegen ligt het wel heel dichtbij het hogesnelheidstreinstation en de outlet, op slechts 3 minuten afstand. Het hotel biedt ook een pendeldienst aan naar het hogesnelheidstreinstation, hiervoor is wel een reservering nodig.
Als je van plan bent om te shoppen bij de outlet, is dit echt een uitstekende keuze. š§”

Het lijkt op de foto. De parkeerplaats bij de ingang is erg groot. Het personeel is erg positief. Het is te voet bereikbaar vanaf het treinstation van Taichung is koud en het hete water is heet. Het is echter een ouder hotel, het ergste is het ontbijt, dat erg onsmakelijk is er is geen zout. Het hygiƫneniveau is niet erg goed. De vensterbank lijkt niet schoon te zijn en er is veel stof

Overall, the hotel is good and service from the staff is great too. Breakfast Hotel has a good spread and enjoyed the food there. Hotel is well located nearĀ the Fengjia Night Market and you can go there in 3 min but is not very near the city centre and you may need to take a bus or walk there.

De locatie is ongeveer een half uur lopen van het station en tien minuten van de bushalte. Er zijn veel restaurants beneden. De weekendprijs was een beetje duur, het zou mooi zijn geweest als het iets goedkoper was geweest. Over het algemeen ben ik redelijk tevreden.

Op 7 minuten lopen van het Kaohsiung Train/MRT-station. Gelegen aan de kruising met de hoofdweg, was het zeer gemakkelijk te vinden. Inchecken ging snel en efficiƫnt en het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was ruim, schoon, rustig en had een groot bad. Ik zal zeker weer boeken als ik de volgende keer naar KHH ga.

When i arrived I was not expecting such a big lobby. Location is great with small restaurants and convenience stores around. Staff is friendly and helpful. I booked my car to airport through them and it was cheaper than taxi (tip: pay in cash to save 10% service fee), and it was a huge van all for myself.
Breakfast buffet is a bit disappointing but still ok for the room price. Only downside is that no amenities available, which is the legal norm in Taiwan. So be aware to bring toothbrush and toothpaste as well as anything else you need. If you don't, no worries, can buy at the 7/11 or the other convenience store down the road.
Overall, quite a pleasant experience and will definitely book there again in my next Hsinchu trip.

Also because it's basement room, there is a constant musky smell emitting from the toilet and filled up the room pretty fast. Have request for a change of room but it is similar issue. Overall it's a comfortable stay near XMD but the room smell is pretty bad.

YYI PEII was given a free room upgrade. After parking my car, a shuttle bus took me up the mountain to the main hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, but the soundproofing was a bit poor. The breakfast (set meal) was very rich, and the handmade bread was delicious.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is great, and it's also close to Taipei Main Station. If you're taking the Airport MRT, I recommend exiting from Taipei Main Station A1, Exit 5. From there, you can walk straight to the hotel, which takes about 10 minutes (including waiting for traffic lights).
The nearby MRT stations are NTU Hospital Station (3-minute walk) and Taipei Main Station (7-minute walk). There are also many bus stops, making transportation very convenient.
Regarding the check-in experience, the hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor, and guest rooms for this hotel occupy floors 3-5. There are only two elevators, and since the building houses other businesses, waiting for an elevator can take a while.
The front desk staff were professional and efficient. Before check-in, there was about a minute-long 'rap' outlining the check-in policies.
The hotel bed was comfortable, and the room and bathroom were clean. It seems to have been recently renovated, as it felt spacious and bright. Soundproofing was acceptable; I could still hear cleaning noises from outside and sounds from the adjacent room. I chose a room with a window this time, but the window couldn't be opened.
Amenities provided were limited to slippers and toilet paper. The shampoo and shower gel were a 2-in-1 product, with a light, pleasant scent and no strange odors.
Overall, it was a pretty good stay, even exceeding my expectations.

GGuest UserI personally lean towards traditional hotels, and at least I didn't experience any of the negative reviews I saw online.
Hotel Facilities: It's an older hotel, but my room had been renovated. The interior is definitely a complete contrast to its exterior.
Room: For the price, it's incredibly good value. The room was spacious enough whether I was staying alone, as a couple, or with my partner. The air conditioning, hot water, TV, and hairdryer all worked perfectly.
Breakfast: They ask you for your preferred dining time when you check in, but maybe because I was staying alone, it didn't really affect me, so I didn't need to specify. The variety of food was extensive, and they changed items daily. I don't understand why some reviews claimed that eating outside for 70-80 TWD would be better; an extra breakfast here only costs 50 TWD. Anyway, they had vegetables, congee, salad, fruit, eggs, bread, etc. For meat options, there was grilled chicken chop, kimchi pork belly, breakfast sausages, and ********* braised pork. The coffee was either from a well-known international brand or the hotel's specially selected freshly ground beans, which I thought was a nice touch. However, I found it a bit odd that you had to return your own trays ā it is a hotel, after all.
Staff: The staff were very friendly and polite. Check-in was handled in both Chinese and English, and they thoroughly explained my room's features, inquired about my needs, and discussed cleaning arrangements. The only minor issue was that I requested a change of bedding on the third day at noon, after two nights, but it didn't happen. I assume the regular staff member for that floor was off, and the replacement didn't change them, as they just straightened my duvet and put the tip I left back on my pillow. Despite that, it didn't impact my stay at all, haha.

AAi Lun. CThe bustling downtown and market are just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Nearly all the staff were incredibly friendly and professional in answering our questions. This trip marked our seven-month anniversary, and it added so many wonderful memories as we head towards our eighth month together.
Upon check-in, the hotel learned we were celebrating our anniversary and thoughtfully upgraded us to a mountain-view room. The in-room welcome drinks were incredibly generous, featuring mini beers, plum wine, coke, and Pocari Sweat ā essential for rehydration after a soak; they even included face masks to pamper us while we enjoyed the in-room hot spring bath.
All the room's fixtures and fittings were new and high-quality: a Toto washlet, a Panasonic 1400 nanoe hairdryer, a thoughtful wooden gua sha massage comb, and hyaluronic acid-infused shower gel that left skin feeling smooth and soft. What truly amazed me were the double-layered automatic curtains (even in the room's private hot spring area!). The double room's bathtub was spacious enough for up to four people ā a very comfortable size.
In the afternoon, the lobby offered preserved fruits and freshly brewed tea, perfect for a relaxing break after a dip in the outdoor public hot spring. After dinner, they provided handmade kumquat-flavored tofu pudding, and it was unlimited ā so generous! (There's a lovely staff member in the lobby, Tina, who's a treasure trove of recommendations for local food and sights; don't hesitate to ask her for her secret list of must-try places!)
Last but not least, I highly recommend trying the hotel's breakfast, especially the freshly blanched beef soup. Even my boyfriend, who grew up in Tainan, the home of beef soup, couldn't stop raving about it.
*If you're planning a weekday visit like we did and want to try some local famous eateries, be sure to check their opening hours in advance. Many popular spots are only open from Friday to Sunday or during specific hours, like mornings until 2 PM. (Luckily, you can find a lot of food on Uber Eats!)

GGuest UserThe location is sweet, 5 mins walk to the closest MRT, and there are even YouBike and Bus for traveling.
There are 3 convenient stores nearby, which is good.
Since the beginning of 2025, hotels in Taiwan won't provide amenities, so the convenient store can be used to purchase any if you need them.
Drop-off and Pick-up in the area is slightly askew, do be careful as it's beside the traffic light.
Counters for check-in are locate at level 3, The room is a good size; I'm able to open my luggage fully. However, the walls are slightly thin, so neighboring up or side rooms closing doors or accidental bumps are heard from time to time.
The bathroom has a separated toilet (with bidet), bathing, and bathtub.
The concierge folks are friendly and able to store luggage to return for collection on the last day.

GGuest UserThe location is very convenient with the Simen MRT just a short walk away. It's good if one plans to use the MRT frequently. It's easy to walk around the whole Simending area from the hotel. Did not try any food at the hotel as one is spoilt for choice in terms of food from the Ximending area.
The air-conditioner was not working properly from the first day, as it was very warm and couldn't be adjusted. Called for someone to take a look and was told they would come immediately. Waited but no one came. Called again and was told they would come by later. We were going out and they reassured us that their service staff would come by accompanied by another staff. Shortly after the call, the service staff arrived, unaccompanied. It was just as well we had not left.
The room is big but the design has not been well thought out. The sink is located outside the bathroom. Its design (low sink) and mirror behind means, when one uses it to wash face etc water is splashed around and the floor gets wet. However, the hotel does not provide any more towels other than those given so one has to move the floor towel(mat) between the bathroom and the sink outside.
The lighting system is also not very convenient. We had 2 double beds but there was no way to control the lighting so that if one party wanted to sleep, the other party could read.
The TV system (with the box hidden behind the TV itself) frequently had signal issues. It was common to be unable to change the channel or the signage No signal would appear frequently either early in the morning or late at night.
We also had a bathroom where the floor just in front of the WC had a slight damage in the form of a black patch which however looked very unsightly. It would have been good if the hotel had done something to make it look better as it left a poor impression.
We had requested for a quiet room. Unfortunately, almost every night/morning there were people talking loudly or kids shouting.
Overall, if one does not plan to spend time in the bathroom, it would be a good choice just for the location and convenience.

There was sparkling water and drinking water available in the public areas, and the mini-bar was a welcome sight after a late check-in. Breakfast was a semi-buffet, with slight changes to the self-service options daily, making for a pleasant dining experience. The hotel is close to the subway station, which makes getting to attractions very convenient. The subway station also has drugstores where you can buy many things, and there are 7-Eleven and other convenience stores nearby, making daily life very convenient. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay.
