The room with the view of Mount Fuji was amazing; just looking at it made me feel so much more peaceful. The hotel offered complimentary snacks and drinks, and the dinner was also very good. The service was thoughtful and attentive. They provide a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. When you need a pickup, you can go to the nearby tourist information center and ask staff to call the hotel. After confirming your booking name and nationality, a car will be sent over very quickly. P.S. Make sure to keep your key safe! There's a 10,000 JPY fine if you lose it at checkout.

I stayed at Fujisan Station Hotel and found it quite convenient overall. The location is excellent, just across from Mt. Fuji Station, making it very easy to get around. Check-in was done with the staff and went smoothly. Free parking is available, which is a plus. There is no onsen and no complimentary bottled water, but there is a free ice machine in the dining area, along with vending machines for snacks and drinks. The water faucet is an old-style rotary type. Breakfast starts at 7:00 AM, but food runs out quickly due to the large number of guests. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, grilled mackerel, rice, miso soup, salad, fresh milk, and granola. The small bread rolls and mini croissants were not very good. The twin room was clean, but the beds were quite firm and not very comfortable.

The rooms were clean, and the dinner and breakfast included in our stay were delicious. We could see Mount Fuji from the restaurant, our room, and even while soaking in the hot spring. Plus, there's free parking right across from the hotel.

Pros: 1. The room was huge! 2. You get a full view of Mount Fuji right from the balcony window. 3. The staff were super friendly, and they even had Chinese-speaking staff members. 4. The hot springs on the fifth floor have both indoor and outdoor options. You can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji while you soak. 5. Both breakfast and dinner provided by the hotel were surprisingly delicious, and there was a good variety too. 6. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. Just make sure to look for the shuttle with three hotel names printed on it. You'll need to remember the hotel's English name to identify it correctly, otherwise, you might end up waiting a long time at the station. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Mount Fuji!

I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

An Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

The hotel service was excellent and the facilities were comprehensive. The breakfast quality was high. Although there are trees in front of the hotel, blocking the view of Mount Fuji from the room, you can walk to Oishi Park in less than ten minutes to see it. Transportation is also quite convenient, and the room is very spacious. The only downside might be a few small insects.

Hotel Mt Fuji has the best views of Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It is located high up on a hill and looks down over the lake. Shuttle bus service to and from Yamamakako iriguchi was excellent. The staff in 7 eleven kindly called for me to be picked up on arrival and again on the second day of my stay. The breakfast was the best in the past 2  weeks of my trip. Japanese breakfast is so delicious. The omelette chef was such a perfectionist and each was made perfectly. Staff were particularly helpful and the public baths , there are 2 different locations ,are excellent, both very different. The hotel itself is very old and dated and could do with a renovation. However saying that, the room was very spacious and comfortable. I loved being able to open the window which had an insect screen and have fresh air. The only thing I did not like is that you could not wear your yukata to breakfast. No big deal really. I would highly recommend Hotel Mt Fuji.

Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa — A Four-Day Dream with Mt. Fuji at Your Doorstep ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We just returned from a magical four-day stay at Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa, and I am still floating on cloud nine. If you are searching for a place where serenity, cleanliness, and genuine Japanese hospitality collide, stop looking — this is it. The Room & Amenities From the moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by how impeccably clean everything was. I mean spotless. The room itself is wonderfully spacious, giving us plenty of room to unwind after long days of exploring. But the real showstopper? The private hot bath. Soaking in steaming hot water while gazing out at Mt. Fuji from the comfort of our room was nothing short of therapeutic. And then there is the balcony. Waking up each morning to a full, unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji right from our private terrace felt like a privilege I never wanted to end. Whether it was sunrise painting the peak in soft pink or the mountain standing bold against a clear blue sky, the view alone made every yen worth it. The Host — Above and Beyond The owner is one of those rare people who makes you feel like family from day one. Warm, attentive, and endlessly kind, he ensured our stay was seamless. But what happened on our last day truly sealed this experience as unforgettable. While we were waiting for our bus back to Yokohama, he volunteered to drive us to Yamanakako Myojinyama Panoramadai. I cannot put into words how breathtaking that spot was — a sweeping panorama of Yamanaka Lake shimmering below with the majestic Mt. Fuji rising proudly in the background. It was the kind of view that makes you stop breathing for a second. That he took time out of his day to gift us that moment speaks volumes about the heart behind this villa. Final Thoughts Reitoku Fuji Lakeside Villa is not just accommodation — it is an experience. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and run by someone who genuinely cares about his guests. The hotel's front desk staff were warm and courteous, making us feel right at home. Our room had a direct view of Mount Fuji and cherry blossoms by the lake, which was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was included and suited everyone's taste. We also enjoyed the hot spring on the 6th floor. Plus, the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle service to the station, saving us a lot of hassle – truly excellent! The driver was incredibly nice too. This trip will be unforgettable!
