"It is always a risk to travel by yourself , as a woman, and as a foreigner. Also, booking hotels online might be an adventure. Many places show photos that are not real, and when you arrive at the place, things are not what you expected. This place was the other way around: the reality was better than the photos. The place was spotless, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was extremely professional and kind. From the landlady to Xiao Wan , the housekeeper , who is a force of nature, is intelligent, strong, and capable of solving any problem you might have. As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe in the hotel, and my things were always safe. No danger here!. The rooms and the hotel combine the best of China, tradition and modernity. Beds are comfortable with traditional and soft pillows. Beautiful high-quality bedding. Great and comfortable sleep! Technology everywhere and modern amenities. The hotel is placed in the best place in hongcun. Close to everything but calm and quiet. Best views of the river!! I will recommend this with all my heart to all the travellers, whether Chinese or foreigners. If you go to Hong cun,this is the best place to be! I will be back with my friends and family for sure! The large french window directly extend the green mountains and waters outside the window to the interior, making it very popular in a snap. There are various rooms with clean and bright decorations. Each room also has observation windows, and some rooms have independent courtyards. Sitting and enjoying the scenery and drinking tea are also very happy. The space is quite spacious, and it is very suitable for families or friends to stay together! The public area is equipped with charging stations, restaurants, tea rooms, meeting rooms, and gyms, which are very suitable for group building gatherings. It is a super luxurious terrace for picnics and barbecues under the bright starry sky, unbeatable and romantic. There is also a swimming pool. Jumping into the cool pool in summer is really enjoyable.
"This is the best hotel room we live during the Huangshan trip! The room is huge and very clean with all Hi tech Smart Control features. There is no smoking smell at all in the room!
It also has a very good free self service laundry room that you can clean and dry your clothes, which I have not found in other hotels during this trip in China.
The dining area is also very clean.
The hotel is very close the Hongchun （宏村）scenic area and close to main road. So, you don’t need to carry all your luggage to walk a long way to get to your hotel. I think that you will have to do that when you live inside the Hongchun scenic area."

"現在行程還在路上，因為每天要開車評價來晚了。
這次出來差不多一個月了，是我印象最深刻的。
抱歉，我把房間的圖拍得比較醜，實際上比宣傳圖還要漂亮，非常高端的一家民宿。
環境這裏我就不多講了，圖片一目瞭然，聽説是花了句子投資的每一處都沒有便宜貨。百年老宅重建，保留了原有的建築特色，又增加了現代的高端裝修，老闆本身就是設計師。
老闆給説升級了房間這一間是見山，空間非常大，其他的房間我也都看了，都是相當不錯的。
重點説一下老闆的服務和這家民宿給我的體驗。老闆對當地非常熟悉，會講解很多東西十分耐心的感覺就是把人當客人當成朋友或家人，因為給我的感受就是這樣子：民宿就當成你自己的，你怎麼舒服怎麼來！
謝謝老闆，明年我們再見，宏村這個地方第二次來太美了。下次來一定還會住你們民宿。想念金寶！"

The hotel is brand-new and beautifully designed. The room was well equipped and perfectly clean. All amenities were provided. For the second day we were asked about our wishes for breakfast. The hosts also organised a reliable and cheaper taxi to Huangshan North.
Location couldn't be better, very quiet and just 2 min walk to the moon pond.
Again, it's hard to imagine finding hosts which are more friendly and generous than at this place.

"Very polite and friendly customer service, felt very welcome when we reached. Staff was quick to respond to our requests.
The entire place was tastefully designed in modern Chinese style but retaining the roots or history of the complex. The bar and tea room was also stylishly furnished for a relaxing evening. I believe there are movie and KTV rooms at the basement across the restaurant. Along the way to our room, there were several artistic features, adorned with Japanese Maple and reed. The colour scheme and overall feel was relaxing and soothing.
Room was spacious with a garden patio, large indoor tub for onsen style soaking and bath, shower area, large bed and living area, and a separate room for storing luggage and clothes. We had a quiet room at a corner of the compound."

"We used this as a base to get around different scenic areas. It was close to the west parking lot of Hongcun, where several buses can take you to different places, including the Huangshan Scenic Area. The hotel was tastefully decorated and most distinctively, it had a movie lounge and a tea appreciation area. Make use of the hotel's golf cart service to get to the west parking lot and back. There were afternoon snacks provided and they varied each day. The only downside was probably the lack of shops within a 200m radius."

"A very good and cozy hotel located inside the Hongcun old town. Room was clean and warm. The wooden style of furnishing added nice impression to our staying. The most important was the hotel's very friendly and supportive personnel.
One comment for improvement: there was a problem with water in the shower room. Water could suddenly jump from hot to very cold and also the strength of flow could suddenly increase and then drop. But it didn't spoil the impression."

"來宏村玩一定要住這家雲想緣宿，毫不誇張地説，這就是宏村最好的酒店！
剛走進酒店大廳，我就被眼前的景色驚艷到了，大廳的風景就像一幅天然的水墨畫，讓人彷彿置身於仙境之中，這哪裡是大廳，簡直就是一幅絕美的風景畫！
辦理好入住後，我迫不及待地來到房間。房間裏的智能語音控制系統太方便了，衹要輕輕説一聲“小雲管家”就能控制燈光、空調、窗簾等設備，簡直是懶人的福音！躺在床上，喊一句“關燈”，瞬間就能進入温馨的夢鄉，這種感覺太美妙了。
房間的佈局也很合理，兩張舒適的大床在榻榻米上，空間寬敞又温馨。床墊軟硬適中，被子柔軟親膚，我一覺睡到天亮，睡得特別踏實。衞生間裏的全智能馬桶更是讓人驚喜，各種功能一應俱全，使用起來非常舒適。
不得不提的是酒店的頂樓露台，簡直是拍照打卡的絕佳勝地！站在露台上，整個宏村的美景盡收眼底，遠處的山巒、白牆黑瓦的徽派建築，構成了一幅絕美的畫卷。尤其是在傍晚時分，夕陽的餘暉灑在無邊泳池上，隨手一拍都是大片。
除了房間和露台，酒店的設施也非常齊全。無邊泳池清澈見底。健身房裡的器材齊全，可以滿足不同客人的健身需求。洗衣房方便快捷，讓你在旅途中也能保持乾淨整潔。獨立茶室更是充滿了文化氣息，在這裏泡上一壺茶和老闆喝茶聊天感覺時間都慢了下來。

GGastgebruikerMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

GGastgebruikerTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

PPhilip QLocated beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices.
The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there.

GGastgebruikerThe service was great and the family was very kind. The garden, rooms and buildings were beautiful and very charming. The B&B dog was very cute and well behaved. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to explore the B&B and pet the dog as much as we wanted, since we spend most time at the nearby attractions! Both lunch, dinner and breakfast was great and the menu seemed to include a lot of delicious traditional Anhui cuisine. We had the stinky fish and braised chicken for dinner and it was absolutely amazing and interesting to try a different Chinese kitchen. We had a great stay and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Hotel is in Hongcun Village with some nice shops around though you need a ticket to come in so you have to include that into your costs. GGastgebruikerService: Laten we het eerst over de service hebben. We hadden verschillende telefoontjes voordat we aankwamen en de winkel was erg geduldig. De persoon die ons ontving was een knappe man uit Shandong, die erg aardig en enthousiast was veiligheid toen we op een vreemde plek kwamen.
Omgeving: Binnenplaats nr. 1 en binnenplaats nr. 2 bevinden zich op verschillende locaties in het dorp. Binnenplaats nr. 1 is rustiger aan de kant van het dorp en biedt rust en stilte midden in de drukte relatief levendiger. Elk heeft zijn eigen kenmerken en is erg handig.
Hygiëne: Het heeft onlangs geregend sinds ik terugkeerde naar Nantian, dus het getijdenpunt is begrijpelijk. De algehele gezondheid van de faciliteiten is oké.

CCharlie M DeanZhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others!
Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

GGastgebruikerYin Er in de achtertuin • Luister naar de regen • Eenvoudige luxe vloerverwarming Ouder-kindkamer (35 vierkante meter) Deze B&B ligt aan de rand van Hongcun. Gelukkig is Hongcun niet ver van de westelijke poort het duurt ongeveer 10 minuten om naar de hoofdingang van de schilderachtige plek te lopen.
Voordelen: Omdat het buiten Hongcun ligt, is de omgeving rustig; ik hou erg van de ontwerpstijl, het is modieus, casual en eenvoudig, hoewel de badkamer geen ramen heeft, is het een geluk dat het uitlaatsysteem sterk is en de douchekop erin de badkamer heeft een grote waterstroom, het riool stinkt niet en is over het algemeen schoon en netjes. Het ontbijt is erg goed, de vleesbroodjes zijn heerlijk, de dame die het eten serveert, bereidt het eten zorgvuldig voor, en het eten is zeer comfortabel; de jongeman die de be & be serveert heeft een zeer goede instelling, en de service is attent en op tijd .
Vergeleken met andere kamers is het grootste voordeel van Yin Er in de achtertuin dat er een bank aanwezig is waar bagage geplaatst kan worden;
Nadelen: De achtertuin ligt verborgen en dichtbij de openbare ruimte (er staat een parasol voor het raam). Andere bewoners maken harde geluiden of roken; er lijkt een motor naast de kamer te staan en het geluid brult op een vaste plek punt, en het zal niet veel worden beïnvloed door het sluiten van het kamerraam; het kan ook dichtbij zijn. In de computerkamer zat veel stof op het schermraam; het leek alsof de airconditioner in de kamer al een tijdje niet was schoongemaakt lange tijd, en het spoot veel pluisjes uit nadat het was aangezet.
Over het algemeen is het redelijk goed. Alle punten voor het schoonmaken van de airconditioner en schermen in de kamer. GGastgebruikerIn general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .

Locatie: De locatie van Xishu ligt relatief dicht bij de ingang van de schilderachtige plek, maar het is stil voor de geest. Het is erg stil en geen lawaai tijdens het slapen 's nachts!
Omgeving: architectuur in Hui-stijl, veel weelderige vegetatie, een zeer unieke binnenplaats, de omgeving is redelijk goed!
Faciliteiten: De kamerfaciliteiten zijn behoorlijk compleet, inclusief een elektronisch toilet en een badkuip. Er zijn ook wegwerpbadtassen klaargemaakt. Het bed is redelijk zacht en comfortabel, en er is ook een gratis kostuumervaring!
Service: De baas is erg enthousiast. Op de dag dat we incheckten regende het op de parkeerplaats buiten het natuurgebied. De baas kwam ons in de regen ophalen en gaf ons speciale snacks toen we bij het hotel aankwamen . Ze waren heerlijk! Ze namen ook het initiatief om ons te upgraden naar een grote kamer, wat zeer attent was en het een aangenaam en comfortabel verblijf maakte!
