"We absolutely loved it here. The hotel is located literally at the Moon Fen. The famous «running on water» scene from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Hongcun is ver beautiful city. The hotel is a small cosy and beautiful hotel with efficient and friendly staff. It was the perfect location for us when exploring Hongcun and nearby activities and attractions like Mukeng Bamboo Forest, Huangshan Mountains and Xidi Town. 10/10 recommend."

"Schattig traditioneel groot hotel met moderne voorzieningen. Gelegen op loopafstand tot alle attracties in Hong-cun. Kamer was v comfortabel en luxe bvlgari badvoorzieningen. Ontbijt was v smaakvol. Personeel was zeer handig. Can request for executive vehicle to from train station to hotel (pay driver directly). We felt our 2-nights there was like staying in a traditional rich man's palace 👍🏻 Highly recommended"

"Hygiëne: De uitstraling van het hotel is zeer voortreffelijk en uniek. Als u de receptie op de eerste verdieping binnenloopt, is deze ook zeer voortreffelijk ontworpen. Er staat een theetafel om thee te zetten en gratis Huangshan Maofeng-thee. Je kunt ook naar het balkon gaan om het uitzicht op de bergen en het meer te zien. Het personeel bij de receptie ontvang je heel beleefd en aandachtig en beantwoordt alle vragen zorgvuldig en beleefd. Het is de stijl van decoratie die ik leuk vind, en elke plek is zorgvuldig ontworpen. Kamerfaciliteiten: De kamer is niet klein. Ik verbleef in een kamer met uitzicht op de binnenplaats. De projector is high-definition en soepel. Het is uitgerust met wegwerptoiletmatten en toiletpapierhanddoeken is een kleine theetafel voor het raam, zodat u overdag kunt genieten van het uitzicht op de binnenplaats. Onze beoordeling voor de kamer is 98 punten. Locatie en vervoer: het duurt slechts 1 minuut om naar het Nanhu-meer te lopen 2 minuten naar de parkeerplaats. Het is echt handig. Nadat je het hotel hebt verlaten, kun je Nanhu en de parkeerplaats zien. Onnodig te zeggen dat er een telefoon en WeChat in de perfecte kamer zijn Heeft u vragen, dan wordt u direct te woord gestaan. Netheid: top! ! Dit is onze eerste keer dat we naar Hongcun reizen, en we kwamen hier ook om de verjaardag van mijn man te vieren. Deze reis was zo leuk en het hotel voegde ook veel geluk toe aan onze reis. We zullen hier de volgende keer weer komen, wie weet Het boeken van een hotel met een redelijke prijs, goede inrichtingsstijl, comfortabel wonen en goede service is echt een pluspunt! "Very polite and friendly customer service, felt very welcome when we reached. Staff was quick to respond to our requests. The entire place was tastefully designed in modern Chinese style but retaining the roots or history of the complex. The bar and tea room was also stylishly furnished for a relaxing evening. I believe there are movie and KTV rooms at the basement across the restaurant. Along the way to our room, there were several artistic features, adorned with Japanese Maple and reed. The colour scheme and overall feel was relaxing and soothing. Room was spacious with a garden patio, large indoor tub for onsen style soaking and bath, shower area, large bed and living area, and a separate room for storing luggage and clothes. We had a quiet room at a corner of the compound."

"It is always a risk to travel by yourself , as a woman, and as a foreigner. Also, booking hotels online might be an adventure. Many places show photos that are not real, and when you arrive at the place, things are not what you expected. This place was the other way around: the reality was better than the photos. The place was spotless, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was extremely professional and kind. From the landlady to Xiao Wan , the housekeeper , who is a force of nature, is intelligent, strong, and capable of solving any problem you might have. As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe in the hotel, and my things were always safe. No danger here!. The rooms and the hotel combine the best of China, tradition and modernity. Beds are comfortable with traditional and soft pillows. Beautiful high-quality bedding. Great and comfortable sleep! Technology everywhere and modern amenities. The hotel is placed in the best place in hongcun. Close to everything but calm and quiet. Best views of the river!! I will recommend this with all my heart to all the travellers, whether Chinese or foreigners. If you go to Hong cun,this is the best place to be! I will be back with my friends and family for sure! If you are looking for a place to stay in yi County look no further. This is the best place to stay in Hong Cun and in the whole county!"

"We used this as a base to get around different scenic areas. It was close to the west parking lot of Hongcun, where several buses can take you to different places, including the Huangshan Scenic Area. The hotel was tastefully decorated and most distinctively, it had a movie lounge and a tea appreciation area. Make use of the hotel's golf cart service to get to the west parking lot and back. There were afternoon snacks provided and they varied each day. The only downside was probably the lack of shops within a 200m radius."

"Nabij de Azian, buiten de Siemen van het dorp, is de locatie geweldig, loopt naar het dorp honderd meter, zeer handig. Het hotel heeft een wit wand en een mooi uitzicht, gedecoreerd en gemakkelijk. Deze keer is het respecteren van tweepersoonsbedden, de kamer is ongeveer 28 vierkante, twee bedden, een bank, beddengoed en geheugen is goed, de beddengoed is zacht en comfortabel, zodat mensen comfortabel slapen; droge afscheiding van de wanden, zoals de badkamer, is niet onder de indruk van elkaar; Het hotel heeft ook een wasruimte op de verdieping, en laat mensen buiten gaan zonder zich zorgen te maken over het schoonmaken van kleren. In het hotel kan u altijd de dienst van de bediende voelen zoals de wervelwind, Miss Wang en de zorgvuldige service van de receptie zijn indrukwekkend. "In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast ."

"The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!"

"Located beside the South Entrance to the village and facing the water-body (see photo of hotel with red banners). Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices. The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there. 这不单是很特色的建筑楼房，我们仿佛回到了历史上了！ 小红和小桃为我们的服务特佳，给了我们很温的感觉！"
