3-Starhotels in Yixian

We stayed here for two nights and it felt like visiting family :-) The hosts were so heart-warming and caring and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We can totally recommend Shangsharuoshui Homestay and we will definitely come back. The hotel is brand-new and beautifully designed. The room was well equipped and perfectly clean. All amenities were provided. For the second day we were asked about our wishes for breakfast. The hosts also organised a reliable and cheaper taxi to Huangshan North. Location couldn't be better, very quiet and just 2 min walk to the moon pond. Again, it's hard to imagine finding hosts which are more friendly and generous than at this place. What a truly remarkable stay ❤️ Thanks again for the fare-well gifts!

We totally recommend this hotel. It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :) Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

De kamer is ok, relatief eenvoudig en netjes, de locatie is relatief goed, de ingang van de westpoort bevindt zich in het park, het is gemakkelijk te vinden, het is erg handig om door de steegjes te slenteren, het is stil in het midden van het lawaai, het is niet luidruchtig en stil 's nachts, de eigenaar is erg aardig en enthousiast, er is een kleine kamer De binnenplaats is waar je thee kunt zetten Ik kom uit het zuiden van Fujian en de kleine binnenplaats is vooral geschikt voor mij. Het eten bij de baas is erg lekker, hoge kwaliteit en lage prijs! Bleef een nacht, lunchte en dineerde bij hem thuis. Een warme homestay die ten zeerste wordt aanbevolen, en ik zal hier blijven de volgende keer dat ik op vakantie ga.

來到宏村，路過木畫説，被院中精緻吸引，火紅的山茶花掛滿枝頭，精巧的徽派樓台亭閣，溪水潺潺，禪茶軟榻。決定停下腳步，留在這裏享受一下慢慢遊的樂趣。進得房間，推窗既望到月沼，地理位置優越。民宿裏掌櫃的小帥哥很熱情真誠，服務意識到位，又不過分攬客推銷，另一位美女是四川妹妹，燒菜很好，正在籌建美食廚房，轉天中午給我們包了薺菜餛飩，味道很地道，清香可口，讓幾日旅途負重的胃口得以修整空

Service: Laten we het eerst over de service hebben. We hadden verschillende telefoontjes voordat we aankwamen en de winkel was erg geduldig. De persoon die ons ontving was een knappe man uit Shandong, die erg aardig en enthousiast was veiligheid toen we op een vreemde plek kwamen. Omgeving: Binnenplaats nr. 1 en binnenplaats nr. 2 bevinden zich op verschillende locaties in het dorp. Binnenplaats nr. 1 is rustiger aan de kant van het dorp en biedt rust en stilte midden in de drukte relatief levendiger. Elk heeft zijn eigen kenmerken en is erg handig. Hygiëne: Het heeft onlangs geregend sinds ik terugkeerde naar Nantian, dus het getijdenpunt is begrijpelijk. De algehele gezondheid van de faciliteiten is oké.

Traveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

和親友來宏村玩，住了這家三十·SANGSH酒店。 整體體驗很舒服，徽派美學的設計很有質感，房間乾淨整潔，雙卧格局寬敞，住起來很自在，衞生和環境都給滿分，服務和設施也很到位。 唯一的小遺憾是陽台視野比較一般，不過勝在離宏村很近，出行逛景區超方便，很適合想住得舒服又方便逛宏村的朋友。

The Pig’s Inn is een erg gezellige plek waar je je thuis voelt. Het dorp Bishan ligt ver weg van de stad, dus ik vroeg het hotel om hulp bij het regelen van een taxi. Manager Fang Xin (方鑫) gaf me het contact met de chauffeur die altijd op tijd was en me veel tips gaf over het beklimmen van de berg Huang. De kamer in het hotel was erg schoon en warm, ongeacht het zeer koude weer buiten. Het hotelpersoneel is super aardig, ze wachtten tot heel laat op ons met het avondeten. Omdat mijn familie erg kieskeurig is als het om eten gaat, was Pig's Inn een perfecte plek om te dineren en te ontbijten, omdat ze alle gerechten maakten volgens de behoeften van mijn familie. 'S Avonds zat er een enorme spin in onze kamer (kwam daar plotseling), de aardige vrouw van het hotel hielp ons om hem uit de kamer te verwijderen. Alles was perfect en onze reis was erg leuk dankzij de Pig’s Inn ☺️
