My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

The service was great and the family was very kind. The garden, rooms and buildings were beautiful and very charming. The B&B dog was very cute and well behaved. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to explore the B&B and pet the dog as much as we wanted, since we spend most time at the nearby attractions! Both lunch, dinner and breakfast was great and the menu seemed to include a lot of delicious traditional Anhui cuisine. We had the stinky fish and braised chicken for dinner and it was absolutely amazing and interesting to try a different Chinese kitchen. We had a great stay and we would definitely recommend staying here!

環境：環境很好，門口就是草坪和稻田，還有吸引我此次前來的交叉小徑。周邊四面環山，空氣清新，趕上這兩天又很涼爽不曬，就是想看的綠油油的稻田都已經成熟收割完畢，有點遺憾。 服務：不管是前台的小姐姐還是餐廳阿姨，服務都很到位，停車引導、行李幫拿、就餐詢問、房間介紹還有茶點安排都很周到。 設施：給我們升級到了一樓帶庭院的房間，總體感覺房間小了點，略微缺少可以隨手放置物品的地方，白色的裝修很舒服耐看。

Wonderful and quiet inn at the heart of ancient Xidi village. The owner was incredibly helpful and charming and made sure I was well looked after. The room was excellent. They only offer disposable towels. So I suggest you bring your own towel. Xidi village itself is fantastic. Full of art students during the day but peaceful at night. It is a maze of narrow streets. A very friendly and welcoming place. The local post office is full of lovely manga postcards left by the art students.

In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .

Such a fantastic place to stay in this magical village… we felt extremely welcomed since our arrival, the room was so tidy and comfy with all the amenities you could wish for. The breakfast was delicious with attention to all the details including making their own soy milk. We also had dinner there on our last night and the food was nothing short of a fancy restaurant but with the care of a homemade meal. I will never forget my time here… the village is also one of the most magical places I had the chance to visit. The staff helped us get a taxi to our next destination, they were really nice people and we wish to visit them again someday. Thank you!

Very polite and friendly customer service, felt very welcome when we reached. Staff was quick to respond to our requests. The entire place was tastefully designed in modern Chinese style but retaining the roots or history of the complex. The bar and tea room was also stylishly furnished for a relaxing evening. I believe there are movie and KTV rooms at the basement across the restaurant. Along the way to our room, there were several artistic features, adorned with Japanese Maple and reed. The colour scheme and overall feel was relaxing and soothing. Room was spacious with a garden patio, large indoor tub for onsen style soaking and bath, shower area, large bed and living area, and a separate room for storing luggage and clothes. We had a quiet room at a corner of the compound.

De B&B waar we deze keer verbleven was werkelijk een fantastische ervaring die onze verwachtingen overtrof, elk detail was betoverend! Als u de binnenplaats voor het eerst betreedt, wordt u betoverd door het weelderige groen. De bomen zijn weelderig en bladrijk en schitteren van vitaliteit in de zon; De stenen paden zijn schoon en netjes, en bezaaid met prachtige steensnijwerken. Iedere stap brengt een nieuw tafereel, vol poëzie. Het is als een langzaam ontvouwend landschapsschilderij, dat het hart onmiddellijk tot rust brengt. Als u het huis binnenstapt, ziet u hoog een plaquette hangen met de woorden ”Reading Hall”. De kamer staat vol met eenvoudig en elegant Chinees meubilair en is versierd met prachtige kalligrafie en schilderijen. Elk detail ademt de charme van de traditionele cultuur, alsof u zich in een elegant kunstpaleis bevindt. De houten elementen in de kamer zorgen voor een natuurlijke warmte en het bed is zacht en comfortabel, waardoor u een goede nachtrust zult hebben. De openbare ruimtes zitten vol hoogtepunten. De houten trap is prachtig ontworpen, de treden en delicate leuningen vullen elkaar aan en elke trede heeft veel textuur. De banken in de recreatieruimte zijn zacht en aangenaam, en het zonlicht stroomt door de deur naar binnen en weerspiegelt het pittoreske landschap buiten. Als u hier even gaat zitten, zult u zich helemaal op uw gemak en ontspannen voelen. Het personeel was hartelijk en attent en beantwoordde al uw vragen. Dankzij hun attente service voelden we ons thuis en was ons verblijf nog warmer. Deze homestay combineert traditionele cultuur met comfort. Of u nu van de charme van vroeger houdt of een reiziger bent die op zoek is naar een rustig plekje: hier vindt u uw ideale verblijf. Ik raad het van harte aan al mijn vrienden aan en kijk ernaar uit jullie de volgende keer weer te zien!

Het gebouw in antieke stijl heeft grotendeels zijn oorspronkelijke uiterlijk behouden. De eigenaar vertelde dat het een huis uit de Qing-dynastie is, erg schoon en dat kinderen er op blote voeten over de vloer kunnen lopen. Een verblijf hier geeft je een gevoel van rust en ontspanning, weg van de drukte van de stad, waardoor je je zorgen kunt loslaten en de waarde van reizen echt kunt waarderen. De eigenaar is een man van weinig woorden, bondig en to the point. Hij suggereert restaurants waar je Anhui-gerechten kunt eten voor het avondeten en raadt winkelen af, met de nadruk op het feit dat reizen draait om ontspanning. Het pension ligt vlakbij Moon Pond, waardoor je overal gemakkelijk naartoe kunt gaan. Het is een oase van rust midden in de stad, en ik heb 's nachts heerlijk geslapen. Er is een ontbijtzaak, Tai Tai Hao Zhou, direct aan de zuidkant van het pension – schoon en hygiënisch.

Wanneer je je ouders meeneemt op reis naar Huangshan City, kies dan voor een verblijf in de Hongcun-attractie, zodat je gemakkelijk toegang hebt tot de attracties! Locatie: De locatie van Xishu ligt relatief dicht bij de ingang van de schilderachtige plek, maar het is stil voor de geest. Het is erg stil en geen lawaai tijdens het slapen 's nachts! Omgeving: architectuur in Hui-stijl, veel weelderige vegetatie, een zeer unieke binnenplaats, de omgeving is redelijk goed! Faciliteiten: De kamerfaciliteiten zijn behoorlijk compleet, inclusief een elektronisch toilet en een badkuip. Er zijn ook wegwerpbadtassen klaargemaakt. Het bed is redelijk zacht en comfortabel, en er is ook een gratis kostuumervaring! Service: De baas is erg enthousiast. Op de dag dat we incheckten regende het op de parkeerplaats buiten het natuurgebied. De baas kwam ons in de regen ophalen en gaf ons speciale snacks toen we bij het hotel aankwamen . Ze waren heerlijk! Ze namen ook het initiatief om ons te upgraden naar een grote kamer, wat zeer attent was en het een aangenaam en comfortabel verblijf maakte!
