"Hygiëne: De uitstraling van het hotel is zeer voortreffelijk en uniek. Als u de receptie op de eerste verdieping binnenloopt, is deze ook zeer voortreffelijk ontworpen. Er staat een theetafel om thee te zetten en gratis Huangshan Maofeng-thee. Je kunt ook naar het balkon gaan om het uitzicht op de bergen en het meer te zien. Het personeel bij de receptie ontvang je heel beleefd en aandachtig en beantwoordt alle vragen zorgvuldig en beleefd. Het is de stijl van decoratie die ik leuk vind, en elke plek is zorgvuldig ontworpen. Kamerfaciliteiten: De kamer is niet klein. Ik verbleef in een kamer met uitzicht op de binnenplaats. De projector is high-definition en soepel. Het is uitgerust met wegwerptoiletmatten en toiletpapierhanddoeken is een kleine theetafel voor het raam, zodat u overdag kunt genieten van het uitzicht op de binnenplaats. Onze beoordeling voor de kamer is 98 punten. Locatie en vervoer: het duurt slechts 1 minuut om naar het Nanhu-meer te lopen 2 minuten naar de parkeerplaats. Het is echt handig. Nadat je het hotel hebt verlaten, kun je Nanhu en de parkeerplaats zien. Onnodig te zeggen dat er een telefoon en WeChat in de perfecte kamer zijn Heeft u vragen, dan wordt u direct te woord gestaan. Netheid: top! ! Dit is onze eerste keer dat we naar Hongcun reizen, en we kwamen hier ook om de verjaardag van mijn man te vieren. Deze reis was zo leuk en het hotel voegde ook veel geluk toe aan onze reis. We zullen hier de volgende keer weer komen, wie weet Het boeken van een hotel met een redelijke prijs, goede inrichtingsstijl, comfortabel wonen en goede service is echt een pluspunt! Zeer onvergetelijk, tot de volgende keer!"

"De eigenaar was erg aardig, hielp ons met onze bagage en gaf ons een zelfgegraveerde boekenlegger. De B&B ligt midden in een schilderachtige omgeving. Het landschap is prachtig, erg handig en het eten is goed. De elektrische deken is erg comfortabel, het uitzicht vanuit het raam is erg mooi en ik ben blij dat ik het zie. De badkamer is echter inderdaad relatief eenvoudig, hij is niet erg schoon, maar niet vies. Hij ziet er niet erg schoon uit, net als het hotel. Omdat ik niet vaak in een B&B heb verbleven, is het een beetje oncomfortabel. Ook de geluidsisolatie is inderdaad niet goed. De meisjes in de kamer ernaast komen om 1 uur 's nachts terug, gaan om 4 uur 's nachts naar buiten, komen binnen en praten. Het geluid van het doortrekken van het toilet was echt onoverwinnelijk en duidelijk te horen."

"The stay at Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel was remarkable. Received a call from the host (小李管家) while on the way to confirm my arrival time and needs. She even helped me arrange a driver to pick us up from the Huangshan North train station at a reasonable cost. Driver (李师傅) was friendly and gave us lots of tips while visiting Huangshan and we ended up using his services throughout the 3 days we were there. When we arrived, 小李管家 was right at the hotel entrance waiting for my for us and checkin into our rooms was a breeze. Rooms were clean with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Most impressive was the hotel layout and design which was very artsy and minimalist for a place like Hongcun. It was simply amazing! Me and my family especially loved the lobby and the coziness especially in front of the fireplace during winter. Hotel Location was within walking distance (200m) to Hongcun Ancient village and around 40mins drive to Huangshan mountain and around 1.5hrs drive to the Huangshan North Station or Tunxi Ancient Street. Will definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives if they are planning to visit Huangshan one day!!!"

"It is always a risk to travel by yourself , as a woman, and as a foreigner. Also, booking hotels online might be an adventure. Many places show photos that are not real, and when you arrive at the place, things are not what you expected. This place was the other way around: the reality was better than the photos. The place was spotless, the rooms were beautiful, and the staff was extremely professional and kind. From the landlady to Xiao Wan , the housekeeper , who is a force of nature, is intelligent, strong, and capable of solving any problem you might have. As a woman travelling alone, I always felt safe in the hotel, and my things were always safe. No danger here!. The rooms and the hotel combine the best of China, tradition and modernity. Beds are comfortable with traditional and soft pillows. Beautiful high-quality bedding. Great and comfortable sleep! Technology everywhere and modern amenities. The hotel is placed in the best place in hongcun. Close to everything but calm and quiet. Best views of the river!! I will recommend this with all my heart to all the travellers, whether Chinese or foreigners. If you go to Hong cun,this is the best place to be! I will be back with my friends and family for sure! If you are looking for a place to stay in yi County look no further. This is the best place to stay in Hong Cun and in the whole county!"

"Perfect stay in the clouds resort. We spent five nights here. I am living in Chiba for 18 years. This is the best stay in hotel since I am here. The village is touristic, but authentic and quiet in night. It’s a mix of ancient village, water, nature. The dream China. The resort is perfectly located on the side of the lake. The common parts are wonderful, from the term, the garden, the courtyards. You can feel the soul of the country here, built by multiple generations. The rooms are traditional but beautiful and extremely well equipped with huge shower, Japanese toilets, huge bathtub. There is 3 courtyards, all original and authentic. You feel the heat of history. The restaurant is the best of the city, for reasonable prices and tasty and comfortable settings. On the top of it, very dedicated staff, trying their best to make us happy, nice breakfast, nice afternoon tea, tea ceremony… we can be only grateful to have the pleasure to stay here. Fast train station is just ten minutes away…"

"My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit."

"This is the best hotel room we live during the Huangshan trip! The room is huge and very clean with all Hi tech Smart Control features. There is no smoking smell at all in the room! It also has a very good free self service laundry room that you can clean and dry your clothes, which I have not found in other hotels during this trip in China. The dining area is also very clean. The hotel is very close the Hongchun （宏村）scenic area and close to main road. So, you don’t need to carry all your luggage to walk a long way to get to your hotel. I think that you will have to do that when you live inside the Hongchun scenic area."

"The Homestay is gorgeous and I especially liked the wonderful historical decorations of the small yard and rooms. You need to contact the owners when you want to check in and they will pick you up from the next parking lot. You cannot drive your car to the yard. The yard is located right in the center of the historic village, which makes it very convenient to explore this place! The room had even a small whirlpool! The owners were very friendly and even offered us a free coffee!"

"大家都來皖南走一走吧，我們的“家”真的不比外面差。住在豬欄酒吧鄉村客棧是此行最正確的選擇。 我對住宿很挑剔，特別怕“表面光”，來之前也擔心會不會有衞生和硬件上的不足，來之後所有擔心煙消雲散。 大家看很多圖片可能覺得過於“原生態”，實際處處都是精心維護過的自然。美得用心和統一。房間暖氣足，衞生細節很好。餐食都好吃，食材新鮮做得也地道。早餐是自助，都是早上起鍋現炒的菜，熱騰騰。姐姐們做事麻利又細緻。來的時候（1號入住時前台姐姐）還有一個瘦瘦的年輕妹妹（小孩在上四年級）給人留下很深的好印象。老闆在專業認真管理，工作人員在努力承接執行，形成賓至如歸的閉環。 自駕過來直接導航，一路都通暢，車可以停在院子裏。碧山村騎個自行車就能逛，很多小店各有各的個性和意思，不同於複製品的敷衍。老闆的另一家店“狗窩酒吧”就在附近，大家如果回來晚了可以來這裏吃點麪條小吃。酒很好，老闆自己做的汽水也不錯。從豬欄開車到南屏村、宏村、西遞、秀裏、塔川都是10-20分鐘車程。可以住在這裏再在周邊慢慢玩。希望豬欄越來越好，大家都能工作開心。也希望後面的客人玩得盡興開心！"

"A cosy hotel with attentive and friendly staff. I chose a room without the smell of tobacco, and it truly was odour-free. The location is quiet, and breakfast is served at the table in the dining area. The only downside to my stay was the behaviour of some inconsiderate guests who arrived around midnight, shouting at each other and watching television for about 2-3 hours. I reported this to reception, but it seems the staff were already asleep and unable to address the issue promptly."
