"The room was decent, and the view might be nice on a clear day. But if you come during the rainy season, everything is just a blur of white—definitely not worth the price. Not sure if there are any restaurants nearby, but you can order food through *******. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, with some of the dishes and bowls cracked or chipped. For such an expensive room, shouldn’t they be using new tableware?"

"Exceptional location with rooms directly facing Meili Snow Mountain! We booked for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and hopefully catch the morning sunrise (日照金山) and the weather did not disappoint!! We booked a room with a very big balcony so we could spend our morning setting up cameras from our room as opposed to go outside or up to the rooftop, though we didn’t realise it was a two- bedroom. Nonetheless the spaciousness was fantastic, very clean, tidy, with complete amenities and a very cosy TV area where we enjoyed an evening movie. Breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea was great too, with very helpful and friendly staff. A very memorable stay for us! Lastly, they even provided multiple tripods, such a sweet touch!"

"The room is great, and the owner is super helpful with our bus ticket and bringing us down to the station to informed the bus driver where to drop us. Although the view is not superb due to a construction infront of the hotel, it doesn’t really matter much to us as we went down to the platform view."

"De kamer had verspreide zuurstoftoevoer. Het is een nieuw hotel, dus alle voorzieningen zijn gloednieuw en de hygiëne is uitstekend, zeer schoon en fris. De locatie van het hotel is fantastisch; direct buiten zijn er talloze restaurants, en het ligt op minder dan 10 minuten lopen van het Feilai-tempel observatieplatform. Het hotel heeft ook een eigen observatieplatform dat een vergelijkbaar uitzicht biedt als dat van de Feilai-tempel, inclusief een panoramisch uitzicht op de besneeuwde Meili-berg. Die dag was het erg druk bij de Feilai-tempel, dus we haastten ons terug naar het observatieplatform van het hotel om de 'Gouden Berg in de Zonsopgang' te zien. Het observatieplatform van het hotel is uitstekend, zonder obstructies en met veel minder mensen. Bij het inchecken kregen we zelfs een eenvoudig ontbijt aangeboden, en het personeel was erg behulpzaam met onze bagage. Er is ook een parkeerplaats aanwezig."

"Strongly recommend this guesthouse. Car park: Super easy to park your car as they have a spacious car park space across the street. Cleanness: Room is very new and clean. They prepared disposable towel and bathtub cover as well. Super considerate. Service: very friendly and thoughtful staff. Common area is spacious and thoughtfully designed too. Last but not least, their heating and water pressure is super good which is very important at such cold and high altitude location."

"If you are looking for one of the most affordable ways to wake up to the breathtaking sight of the Meili Snow Mountain, look no further than FANSU at WUNONGDING. Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. The primary reason for our visit was the sacred Meili Snow mountain, and the view absolutely delivered. Waking up to that majestic panorama right outside our window was a highlight of our entire trip. For the value, it's an unbeatable location. The hospitality here is what truly sets FANSU apart. The staff are super helpful and friendly, going out of their way to make us feel not just like guests, but like family. They created a homey and comfortable atmosphere that made it hard to leave. A special memory was made on our last evening when the staff taught us how to sing the beautiful ******* song ”FLY” by ANU. It was a spontaneous, joyful moment that we will cherish forever. A super big thank you to them for that! Regarding the food: we found the meals to be absolutely yummy and comforting. While we've seen some comments about the dinner being expensive, we found it perfectly reasonable for our usual dining expenditure, and more importantly, the quality and taste justified it. The breakfast was also lovely and set us up perfectly well for the day. We left with full hearts, amazing photos, and great memories. If you want an authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience facing the Meili Snow Mountain, we cannot recommend FANSU highly enough. "Firstly, this has to be one of the nicest places which I stayed at in Yunnan, or in China for that matter. You may be thinking that is price is good to be true, but this place performs well above what is to be expected of that price range. I was originally planning to stay elsewhere in Benzilan, but am very glad that I stayed here. The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and wooden furniture. The view out of my window was very green and calming. The amenities were all well-maintained and very clean. The pictures really don't do the rooms the justice that they deserve. Secondly, and very importantly, the owner - a young Benzilan local who operates the hotel with his mother - is exceptionally kind, genuine and friendly. As a solo traveller, he helped organise transport, offered lunch, and even some of the local liquor. As far as service goes, this place remains unbeaten amongst all the places I've travelled in China. The hotel overlooks the mountains surrounding Benzilan. In the evening, you can peacefully sit outside the hotel on its elevated terrace and quietly watch the mountains as the sun goes down. I would not hesitate to stay again."

"Glad to booked this hotel.  Service is good - they turn on the heater before we checked in.  Rooms feel warm when we enter.     The room is nice and breakfast is good too.   On the platform it says no breakfast included but when we reach there they gave us 2 breakfast vouchers to have breakfast in the hotel next door.     A bit too cloudy to see a really nice golden mountain view during sunrise.   However we still manage to get a little bit of it."
