Hotels met parkeergelegenheid in Siquijor

Dit is hét resort waardoor ik verliefd ben geworden op Siquijor. De bijna drie uur durende veerboottocht was het meer dan waard. De accommodaties bestaan ​​uit vijf of zes privé-villa's verdeeld over twee verdiepingen. Elke verdieping heeft een queensize bed, waardoor er maximaal vier personen kunnen verblijven. De meubels en badkamers in de kamers zijn stijlvol en doordacht ingericht. Een klein minpuntje is het ontbreken van een föhn. Het grootste pluspunt van dit resort is waarschijnlijk het restaurant, met een prachtig uitzicht. Het ontbijt en de andere maaltijden waren heerlijk en de prijzen waren zeer redelijk. Bovenal was het personeel ongelooflijk vriendelijk. Ondanks mijn beperkte Engels waren ze erg begripvol en gastvrij, waardoor alles heel ontspannen verliep. Een tip: ze accepteren geen creditcards of Amerikaanse dollars; alleen peso's. Mij werd verteld dat het dichtstbijzijnde wisselkantoor bij de haven was (500 peso's voor een enkele reis met een tuk-tuk). Gelukkig was de eigenaar niet thuis en bood hij aan om mijn geld voor me te wisselen, wat het probleem oploste. Bedankt allemaal!

I love the view of the resort although it was not located near the main attractions. Slightly troublesome for us because we can't drive a tuk tuk or motorcycle but that won't be a problem for thos who can or intend hire a tuk tuk for a day. We weren't interested in usual itinerary provided by the tours so we mostly stayed in the resort. Nevertheless, it was such a great time for my partner and I to relax and bask in the great sea view. Not having food and drinks in the room was slightly inconvenient but understandable given the fire ants situation in the island. As a result, we left some of our items behind because we forgot to claim them during check out. Not a big deal but something to take note of.

We stayed for 2 nights at Zosimo’s Inn. Our rooms was massive with kitchen and a fridge. Our second room upstairs was where our young adults stayed. The place is clean, room was very welcoming. Bed has the right firmness. Sheets and towels were crisp white. Toiletries were provided. No Netflix or Disney on the TV. Reception answers inquiries promptly. This was the reason I opted for this place. The price I paid for was just right with breakfast included. There is a very close walkable street food in Lazi, which was great. Our breakfast was served in a nearby eatery where our meal was prepared as ordered. Overall, it was a good stay, aside from its distance from the main city- around 30 minutes. I can recommend this place if distance to the noisy main city is not for you. I was gonna upload photos but trip.com website takes a long while to upload. ☹️

Minuses: - the pool is really small, just for chilling, not swimming. - Mobile network signal is bad or non-existent. Hotel wifi is very very slow most of the time. The rest was amazing.  Very beautiful setting, very clean resort, amazing restaurant, super friendly helpful and attentive staff.  You can also hire snorkelling equipment from them (must do! Lots of fun and pretty safe), and can hire a scooter directly via hotel (very easy and smooth process). Overall loved my stay and will happily stay there again!!!

We had a peaceful and comfortable stay at this homestay. The place is very quiet, which made it perfect for rest and relaxation. The room was surprisingly spacious for the price definitely great value. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and affordable stay.

Heel goed, de service is erg goed, een van de beste hotels op het eiland. Ik heb op verschillende data in verschillende kamertypes verbleven. Het hotel was erg attent, vroeg naar mijn toekomstige reisschema, hielp me van tevoren met het regelen van mijn bagage voor de kamerwisseling en liet me weten dat de nieuwe kamer klaar was. Zelfs op de dag dat ik het hotel verliet, regelden ze een bus om me naar de pier te brengen en regelden ze zelfs vervelende dingen zoals inchecken, zodat ik me daar helemaal geen zorgen over hoefde te maken! Geweldig!

I was initially hesitant to book due to the limited options available and the fact that my preferred properties were already fully booked. Your property was the only affordable option with availability, and I was hoping for a comfortable stay. I'm happy to say that despite my initial concerns, my one-night stay in the original room was quite good. Yes, the floor was still a little wet when we entered, but the room was clean, and while the AC was a bit loud, overall, the experience was positive. What truly made our experience exceptional was your fantastic staff. I truly appreciate their patience and understanding. I actually forgot to check out by 12 pm as we were enjoying our activities, and because we had a room upgrade booked for the remaining two nights, the staff waited for us to arrive at the property to change our room. Such fantastic service and attitude! Furthermore, I’m especially grateful for the honesty of your staff. I want to express my deep appreciation for bringing my silver necklace back to me after I had accidentally left it in the old room. That level of integrity is truly commendable. Thank you for making our stay in Siquijor a memorable one. We genuinely appreciate the great service and warm hospitality, and your staff are a true asset to your hotel.

We want to thank the owner Gri and staff at this lovely hotel! The warmth and welcome we felt was phenomenal, as well as the service. The highlight of the stay was the gorgeous pool and view. We loved beginning and ending each day with a dip and hearing the waves crash as we fell asleep. Magical! The flowers and trees on the property are stunning and the rooms are comfortable and reasonably appointed. The beds are firm by western standards but being that we are Americans who live in China, we love this for our backs! We ate breakfast every morning and one of our dinners in the hotel restaurant and it is very high quality, tasty food. I especially loved the organic spinach and homemade dumplings, as well as the mapo tofu- YUM! The fresh fruit each day was crisp and delicious and I LOVED drinking coconuts by the pool. Thank you, Cherry! Coffee is for purchase at the restaurant, not in the rooms. The location of the hotel is quite remote, meaning it is peaceful and quiet. I recommend you arrange transportation for excursions in advance each day, or rent a scooter, as waiting for a tricycle can be long. We were told that you can swim and snorkel in front of the hotel but the tide was too low when we tried one day. However, there are snorkels and kayaks for use in the hotel! The hotel is still developing some of the water activities available. The pool is deep enough for diving courses, but check to make sure they are ready, as the gear is still in order as of Oct 2023. There are snorkel and dive spots a short ride away, however, and you can ask for help at the desk to book a tour or connect with a dive shop.

Ik kwam naar Xidao om drie nachten te blijven. Coco had de eerste nacht geen ruimte, dus koos ik een goedkoop hotel in de buurt om me voor te bereiden op één nacht. Hoewel de kamers eenvoudig zijn, zijn de openbare voorzieningen ook erg goed. Het zwembad is groot en kinderen spelen er graag in. Het landschap aan zee is ook adembenemend. Je kunt ook duiken en lang in de lobby blijven. De internetsnelheid is supersnel en het is helemaal niet Filipijns. Niet ver van bezienswaardigheden. De receptie kan u helpen een Tutu-auto te bellen. Als je naar Xidao komt en rond het eiland wilt reizen, is een verblijf hier voldoende. Trouwens, ernaast ligt de failliete internetberoemdheid B&B Ustory, die van hetzelfde zeegebied geniet. De Chinese baas is erg enthousiast en het roerei met tomaten is heerlijk. Een advies: de koffie voor het ontbijt is instant, wat een beetje verrassend is in een land als de Filippijnen, waar je op elk moment goede koffie kunt drinken.

The room was spacious and very clean, the owner and staff are very friendly. The only downside is the noice from the street which can get very loud at night! The AC is also quite loud so we had to turn it off during the night and just manage the heat.
