Hotels met ontbijt in Brussel

Ik heb een aangenaam verblijf gehad in Hotel Indigo in Brussel. Het hotel heeft een charmante inrichting en het personeel is gastvrij. Mijn kamer (208) was schoon, comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Eén detail verpestte echter enigszins mijn ervaring: het Nespresso-apparaat op mijn kamer deed het niet. Nadat ik het probleem had gemeld, kwam er een technicus, maar die zei dat hij het defecte apparaat voor de volgende gast zou achterlaten. Dit was eerlijk gezegd teleurstellend en een beetje irritant, want in een hotel van deze klasse verwacht je direct hulp. Ondanks dit kleine minpuntje was mijn verblijf aangenaam. Ik hoop dat dit soort details in de toekomst beter worden beheerd.

Het is een prima hotel dichtbij het centrum. We zijn er twee nachten geweest en prima geslapen in een schone kamer. Het enige slechte was dat we om half 10 nog iets kleins wilden eten maar volgens de ober kon dat niet meer omdat de keuken dicht was terwijl op de site staat dat de keuken om 1 uur ‘s nachts dicht zou gaan. Bij de receptie werd verteld dat het 10 was dus nog steeds tijd genoeg om iets klaar te maken. De ober vertelde dat we maar naar de KFC aan de overkant van de straat moesten gaan. Dat was niet iets wat je van een dergelijk hotel verwacht maar verder was het een prima ervaring.

Ik heb hier twee nachten geslapen het was uitstekend. Alles wat je nodig hebt vind je dichterbij: restaurant, cafeetjes, trams, busse, treinstation, metrostation, shopping. Ook vriendenlijk medewerkers.

This is a new and trendy hotel near Brussels North Station. It has a nice restaurant and bar in the lobby area as well as some reasonably priced room service items. This is a pretty new hotel and it opened in May 2025. The hotel is in a quiet area but there isn't a whole lot around. The main parts of Brussels are about a 15 minute walk away but being by the train station made it very convenient to make a day trip outside of the city and there is quick and frequent access to the airport. They offer breakfast at this hotel but at 25 Euros a person it is hard to justify. We also found a good self serve laundry spot nearby called Wash Club and got our laundry done halfway through our Christmas Vacation. The rooms were nicely arranged with a bench by the TV and a seating area by the window with a small table. There is a mini bar in the room but those items are pretty expensive. They have a coffee/tea station but they did not provide coffee or tea during our stay so we are happy we brought our own. The bed was pretty comfy and we got a good night's sleep each night. There are some interesting decor choices like a curtain in front of the large flat screen TV in an alcove. There is also a window for the bathroom that has blind slats on the outside of the bathroom. We felt the room was mostly fine but they didn't clean the glasses and the kettle could use some descaler. The bathroom was nice with conditioner, shampoo, body wash and body lotion. The shower provided good pressure and temperature but it had an open design and it was difficult to keep the water in the shower area. The towels provided were pretty new and soft but one had a noticeable stain and we would expect a hotel of this caliber to review the items being put in a room and bathroom. We felt we got a good rate when we booked the hotel and got to enjoy the busy city of Brussels and then relax at this hotel. We believe this hotel will improve because they have some nice facilities and good staff.

We kwamen vrij laat in de avond aan bij het hotel, dus moesten we aanbellen bij de ingang. Een vriendelijke medewerker kwam ons meteen helpen en hielp ons met het inchecken. Toen we eenmaal in de kamer waren, waren we aangenaam verrast: de kamer was erg ruim en de badkamer was net zo groot. Het warme water was uitstekend en de airconditioning werkte perfect, waardoor de kamer koel en comfortabel bleef. Een van de hoogtepunten was het prachtige uitzicht vanuit de kamer: we hadden een vrij uitzicht op Brussel-Centraal, wat vooral 's nachts charmant was. Al met al hadden we een fantastisch verblijf. De kamer, de faciliteiten en de service overtroffen onze verwachtingen.

Heel retro en sfeervol! De verlichting in de lobby is erg goed en heel filmisch hahaha. Het nadeel is dat sommige faciliteiten ouder zijn, maar dat is geen groot probleem.

Faciliteiten zijn oud met geur in de kamer en hal. Fitness is openbaar, vol met mensen en de luchtkwaliteit is slecht. De badkamer van de kamer is erg klein en de openingstijden van de lounge zijn kort van 16.00 tot 20.00 uur en de opties voor drankjes en alcohol zijn beperkt. Eten in de lounge is ook heel eenvoudig. Het ontbijt is redelijk goed in vergelijking met andere diensten.

Het hotel is gedateerd en dat kan je zien, in de vloerbekleding kan je de sporen van ouderdom zien, de standaardkamers kunnen een opfrisbeurt gebruiken maar toch was alles in orde, kamers waren netjes. Badkamer proper. Bedden meer dan ok. Goed geslapen. Ontbijt is ook meer dan in orde voor de vraagprijs. Mensen aan de balie waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam met een duidelijke uitleg. Pluspunt is dat je overal dicht bij zit. Prijs kwaliteit zeker goed.

Het personeel is aardig, maar sommigen niet. De kamer is te stoffig en de deken stinkt enorm. Eigenlijk zou het hotel moeten opruimen voordat er nieuwe gasten komen. De wastafel in het toilet is verstopt!!!!!!. Ondanks de voorzieningen is de locatie superhandig en ligt het vlakbij station Brussel-Noord en de bushalte (FlixBus), maar wel een beetje ver van het stadscentrum. Ik kon het treinstation en de bushalte in 15 minuten bereiken en 5 minuten lopen!

Plus: The room is really big. So is the bed. It is so big that makes me think as if it is king size bed to house politicians or prime minister from the 80s, 90s. There is heating both in the room and in the shower There is air con set in the room( but I didn't try to see if it works) This hotel is located less than 10 mins walk from Brussels north station Minus The room look really old. May be 90s, if not 80s. There is no carpet on the floor. It is really clean but it is really cold to step on. Bring your own slippers. The room is dim. And some lights were spoilt. Even if was told it is a non smoking room, the room has lingering smoking smell. Someone smoked in this room before. I told the front desk, he said he will check but when I return from the city , the smell is there still. The bathroom has some odd smell. May b smell of roaches, or roaches in the pipes. The shower curtain smell of mould and damp cloth/ damp laundry. The heating stop around 2am. May b there is max amount of heating one room could use. Make sure you time your heating usage carefully. The wall is really thin. You can hear when someone is around the lift, going towards their room or what next door is up to. I can hear everything happening outside, on the street, from police car n siren rushing up and down, to people wondering on the street, their conversation. I don't feel safe here. I can't relax and sleep. I don't like the paper cup given together with coffee and the place to brush teeth. May be the hotel suffer too often from being stolen . But that make the hotel rating dropping from 1star hotel to guest house. The toilet spoilt in the middle of the night and you can hear water flowing all night. Need to maneuver with the old school toilet pull button . I appreciate the effort they maintain it but personally I don't like it. unless you have really early bus or train to catch, and is on a shoe string budget then it is your choice.
