If you get the chance to visit Longji/Longsheng to hike through the amazing rice paddies, then you absolutely must stay at Li'An Lodge. The rooms are lovely, clean and quaint, and a cultural alternative to the more modern options in the larger cities. The lodge is run by Aaron who goes above and beyond to help visitors, give local recs, and speaks perfect English. He will also help you avoid any tourist traps.  Li'An lodge is also built on the highest point so you have a fabulous view, and is situated right at the starting point of the main hike in local area. The rooms give you a great view of the rice paddies and the village.  The food is simple and great, or you can eat around the town, which is very atmospheric. We came in the low season end of March, which was misty but fab and we had most of the places to ourselves.  Really can't recommend enough. If you get to Guilinxi (station) they will send a driver to get you. You can also book directly with the hotel over email with Aaron which is easy and efficient. 

Liliya and her staff went above and beyond to make our stay one of the best we experienced during our 3 weeks across China. They held us to arrange car from guilin and also to yansghuo. The room is lovely and the newly opened restaurant's food is delicious. Location is stunningly beautiful and it is in walking distance to the rice terrace . I would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so special.

酒店在山腰，房間就能看日出看雲海看梯田，簡直太治癒了。從酒店上各觀景台都是可接受的距離，如果累了還能電話老闆接，當然，付費。老闆一家熱情接待，飯菜也好吃，一天三頓無需動腦。總之，這地兒值得二刷

LOCATION: Trip.com showed this stay as very close to the cable-car (Jinkeng terrace). That was the main reason for us to choose this place. But, on arrival, we found that this accommodation is about ~19 km far from the cable car station. So, it was an accidental choice for us. Nevertheless, this gave us an opportunity to enjoy this stay – free from hustle-bustle, no regrets. We realized the serenity of this place after visiting Dazhai! 😊 TRAVEL: Foreigners with family and kids. We traveled to the Longji Terraces from Yangshuo by 13:30 bus. It took us about 4 hours. Although we booked the ticket to Dazhai (last stop), we got off the bus at the Jinzhu intersection. The driver knows the hotel and its staff. I did reach out to Ms. Liao Yanzhen (aka Jane) through WeChat (same number as in Trip.com) before starting the journey. She informed the bus driver about us & it helped us a lot. ACCOMMODATION: It is located uphill from the Jinzhu intersection – about 15-minute walk. Since we had luggage, Ms. Jane arranged for a car to carry all our luggage to/from the stay. ROOM: Spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Depending on the room type, a balcony view helps. I had the valley view, which was very nice early in the morning. The room is built on a treehouse concept with modern bath and restroom facilities. It had a kettle, WiFi, etc., all that comes with a standard reservation. FOOD: Received the menu available and the price per item through WeChat. The common dining area is spacious. Food portions were large and tasty! For the hotel location, the cost is reasonable. STAFF: All are very friendly and do their best to make your stay comfortable. We managed all our interactions through the translator app. They surprised the kids with popcorn! During our stay, we played cards after dinner for a few hours in the common area, and the staff were kind enough to help us with table and chairs. Also, on the last day, they showed us their traditional way of preparing food and the ingredients. ONLY SUGGESTION to the hotel: please address the door noise. It is too loud and annoying for occupants as well as neighbors.

Op mooie dagen is het een ideale verblijfplaats als back-up voor crosscountryraces. De omgeving is zeer comfortabel, de inrichting voldoet aan de gemiddelde tot hogere standaard van B&B's en het is netjes en schoon. Hightech toilet met verwarmde spoelfunctie. Eten met lokale kenmerken, ontbijtservice voor hardlopers. En er is een pick-up, wat nodig is omdat het 15 minuten lopen is naar de parkeerplaats. 1 pond Longji-rijstwijn: heerlijk, niet dronken. Gratis ophalen en wegbrengen vanaf de parkeerplaats van Dazhai: goed Ontbijt: heerlijk en op tijd Faciliteiten: Nieuw Hygiëne: schoon Omgeving: Schoon en geurloos Voor het gebouw staat een huis in aanbouw en overdag is er wat geluidsoverlast. De baas, Mr Yu, is super op aarde en eerlijk. Hij heeft ook super goed gekokt - de smaak is gewoon mooi, niet te olie of zout. En al zijn ingrediënten zijn vers van zijn boerderij, zelfs de kippen en de vis. Wat een boerderij-tot-tafel ervaring... want het is de lage piek seizoen nu, hij kan zitten en goed chatten met ons. De kamer is enorm, met een open berguitzicht. Het is ook dicht bij het uitzichtpunt 2. Er is deze mooie hond die zo loyaal is. De kamer is goed onderhouden, met een balkon voor u om te zitten en te drinken wijn of thee. Merk op dat er insecten zijn omdat we bij de bergen zijn, maar u kunt uw eigen afperser brengen. We hebben hier goed geslapen. De chauffeur, de heer Yang, die ons op Long Ji liet, bleef ook in deze kamer en vroegen om ons te rijden voor de drie dagen die we hier waren en ons terug naar Guilin. Zijn rijvaardigheid is zeer stabiel en hij is zeer goed verbonden met de bergwegen (als hij een plaatselijk). Ik kan zeggen dat deze ervaring te onthoudend is. Zou u zeer aanraden om deze kamer voor uzelf te ervaren (Natuurlijk tijdens het topseizoen, de baas kan niet de tijd hebben om te zitten voor een chat). Drie dagen en twee nachten in deze mensen, en we zullen ook lange herinneringen herinneren. De andere baas is erg goed en een goede maaltijd heeft verbrand. De eetgedeelte is vers. De kamer is goed schoon en we wonen er comfortabel. Het bed is groot en het balkon is ook groot. We maken de vogels daar morgenochtend, luister naar de vogels, het is heel comfortabel.Kijk naar de baas, eten en de vogels (honden) spelen en ga met hem naar het zichtpunt.Kijk naar de rijst, de vogel, het leven op de berg is goed en lief. Deze persoon is lief en onbeperkt.

Onze ervaring in Hotel Baike was gewoonweg fantastisch! Het hotel is prachtig, schoon en ingericht in lokale stijl. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras en vanuit onze kamer was geweldig en heel rustgevend. Het eten was ook heerlijk! Bovendien waren Jason en zijn vrouw ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze beantwoordden al onze vragen, hielpen ons en gaven ons tips voor het verkennen van de omgeving. Op ons verzoek regelde Jason ook een transfer van de luchthaven in Guilin naar het hotel, een transfer van Ping'An naar Dazhai (voor de 15 km lange wandeling terug) en een transfer van het hotel naar ons volgende hotel in Yangshuo. Ik spreek een beetje Chinees, maar een groot pluspunt voor buitenlandse toeristen die geen Chinees spreken, is dat Jason uitstekend Engels spreekt, dus taalbarrières zijn helemaal geen probleem! Kortom, we raden dit hotel 100% aan! We hebben een geweldige en onvergetelijke ervaring gehad en als we ooit terugkomen naar Ping'An, komen we hier zeker weer terug!! 🤗💯💯💯

春節入住體驗滿分！酒店位於龍脊梯田大寨觀景區核心位置，緊鄰二號千層天梯觀景台，出行看景都超方便。 酒店的設施很齊全，景區裏的店難得有電梯，長者小孩都方便；還有游泳池、觀景玻璃棧道，晴天的話拍照超出片，這次運氣不太好，遇到大霧天，下次再來拍美美的片子。店內還可以燒烤，還能放煙花，年味拉滿。 推窗就是層層梯田，風景治癒，服務熱情周到，整體體驗遠超預期，家庭出遊、朋友聚會都很合適，真心推薦！

Great location and view. Recommend to get balcony with view. Rooms are clean and new. Staff are great and always try to help. One night we got lost so the young lady called “Flower” walked a long way to escort us back to the hotel. Then we found out she wasn’t working at that time but just wanted to help. Amazing service.
