It was about 2 years ago since we were here last. A few things have improved but the rooms we stayed this time had no airco and for Portugal room without airco in the summer I can tell you it’s terrible to sleep. The breakfast is good, the service is good everybody is really friendly and helpful but the hotel really needs an urgent renovation. Attached picture is what you look at at breakfast could for sure use an urgent tlc
Em relação a este hotel adorei a experiência não só pela sua localização, mas como também pela simpatia e amabilidade do staff, expondo-nos todas as questões e ademais serviços, um abraço enorme, este hotel é ideial para passar um fim de semana em família, casal ou amigos, em relação ao quarto excelente era espaçoso, amigável, reservei com varanda o que foi um extra para nós, aconselho a visitarem um dia. O pequeno almoço foi buffet foi muito bom para começar bem o dia.
The hotel is very comfortable and nice, give a resort feel! But it’s a bit rundown, for example the back of the building looking towards the pool could use a paint because it looks old and needing it badly! I also requested an iron and there isn’t one neither in the rooms not in the whole hotel!
The rest is great! Indoors pool and sauna, room looks like 80s but comfortable, views and birds around are great, next to the beach. Breakfast was good
Wir kamen spontan und buchten 60 Minuten vor Ankunft. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Leider war der Blick in den Innenhof und dort war ein leerstehendes Gebäude und die Lüftung des Gebäudes. Es war sehr sehr laut Nachts. Ansonsten alles top. Das Frühstück war überragend.

I'm sure they did their best but being told no soap is available, although toiletries are listed as free, and to use the pump dispensers, even when the bidet is too far to operate a pump in situ, and to have suggested to fill a cup with liquid soap first....really?? Both the bidet and bath plug leaked, the extractor fan wasn't operating and also the fridge was missing the door shelf retainers, not helpful!!
I realise my off-season stay was in February, but I asked if there was room service but was told no, and yet they advertise it??
therefore it would be very welcoming if the coffea/hot drink machine was available for a reasonable time during the day and evening, not just at breakfast and evening meal
If that wasn't possible, then for £70 per night I would have appreciated a small travel kettle in my room, as I was happy to supply milk, tea and coffee, but hey ho

Receptie: aardig, 4-sterren standaard, niemand spreekt Frans
Kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad en terras: meubilair is standaard, niet erg modern, vooral linoleum op de vloer, wat direct opvalt, donkere kamer, comfortabel bed, maar slaapbank: nutteloos, alleen geschikt voor kleine kinderen omdat ze 1,70 m lang zijn en de matras minder dan 10 cm dik is, en bovendien kraakt zodra iemand beweegt. Erger dan een extra bed. Eenvoudige badkamer met toilet net achter de deur, koud licht, badkamervoegen niet altijd schoon

Medewerkers rond het zwembad zijn helemaal niet professioneel (beachboy)
Restaurant: lekkere en verse lunchsnacks, huisgemaakt

Zwembad: comfortabele ligstoelen en altijd wel een plekje te vinden, koud water (we zijn ver van 28 graden)
Fitnessruimte: goed uitgerust, niemand

Er is slechts één bar in het restaurant geïntegreerd, maar deze is niet geschikt om er de avond door te brengen.
Het kamerpersoneel laat het hoofd zakken en groet niet. Het kamerpersoneel is niet glimlachend, koud of verlegen.
Er valt dus nog veel te verbeteren om te voldoen aan de verwachtingen van de klanten die gewend zijn aan 4 sterren en een aangenamer verblijf te hebben.
Tryp is een heel mooi hotel vlak bij de kust, waar u mooie wandelingen kunt maken langs de paden langs het strand. Het personeel in het hotel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers waren erg mooi, ze hadden grote spiegels op de kastdeuren, dik, erg esthetisch en de toiletten waren schoon. Het eten dat ze serveren is ook erg lekker en goed gekookt. Ik heb genoten van mijn verblijf in het hotel en het is een plek waar ik van plan ben er opnieuw te verblijven.

The room was huge, the bathroom was good, the view was fantastic, but one detail that bothered me was that when I went to bed, the smell of the bed linen and pillow wasn't freshly laundered, as I've found even in 2-star hotels; it smelled like someone else's body, not mine! That wasn't supposed to be the case in a hotel of this category. I believe the pillow and duvet hadn't been washed after the previous guest's use.
As for the breakfast, fantastic, with a wide choice.
The spa was also good, although the Turkish bath wasn't available.

• Design: The hotel is beautifully designed, with luxurious public areas and comfortable rooms. My room included a pleasant balcony overlooking the golf course, adding to the relaxed ambiance.
Areas for Improvement:
• Housekeeping: Room cleanliness could be significantly improved. Upon arrival, I noticed dust, hair, and a dirty carpet that became apparent with closer inspection. The bathroom could use more thorough cleaning, especially in removing any buildup on fixtures and seals. Addressing these details would make a noticeable difference.
• Maintenance: Some minor repairs are needed. For instance, one of the door hangers was broken, and while the shower had great water pressure, the seals could benefit from a refresh. These small updates would enhance the overall quality of the rooms.
• Amenities: The hotel provides two bottles of water daily, but there was one day it was missed. When I asked about it, I was simply directed to drink tap water, which was surprising. A more consistent approach to these amenities would be appreciated.
• Breakfast Experience: While the breakfast selection was generally good, the pastries could be of higher quality. Additionally, some items, like the omelet station and honey, were placed at a distance from the main breakfast area. It would be helpful for staff to inform guests about these stations to improve accessibility.
• Attention to Details in Public Areas: I also noticed that the water dispenser in the lobby bar could use more frequent cleaning, as it showed signs of buildup.
Overall Recommendation: The Crowne Plaza Caparica Lisboa has a lot to offer with its beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, and peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the amenities are awesome!We tried to take advantage of as much as we could (that pool! the grounds! the beach nearby!), and it was all super easy to access.
Honestly, it was just a really smooth, fun, and welcoming experience from start to finish. Big thumbs up from the whole family, especially the kids! We'll definitely be back when we're next near Lisbon. Highly recommend!👍

AAugusto H.The location of the apartment is perfect, in front of the sea, with direct access to the beach and the pool, ideal for a few days of rest. However, the services leave a lot to be desired. The apartment does not have any type of amenities, such as a bottle of water, coffee or other products usually available in 4-star accommodations.
Despite having a coffee machine and a dishwasher, there wasn't even a coffee capsule or washing up liquid. There was also no drainer to dry hand-washed dishes. I requested twice, both by phone and in person, a pair of slippers and detergent for the washing machine, but they were never delivered. I even went to reception (which is in another structure) during the night, where they assured me that they would be delivered the next morning, which did not happen.
In short, the apartment is spacious and well located, but the total lack of services and the lack of attention to guests' requests make the experience quite disappointing. A shame, because the space has a lot of potential.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is easy to find. There are lots of free parking space outside the hotel. If you would like to park at the hotel, it is 5 euro per day.
The rooftop bar is closed on Mondays to Thursdays. When it is closed, the guests have no access to the rooftop. I think such arrangement should be improved by granting access to the rooftop even when the bar is closed.

The staff were generally very friendly.
The superior room is small, as is the bathroom, but adequate. The minibar is super quiet; the toilet hose's pressure was a bit out of control. The sound insulation to the hallway and outside isn't the best, but it's not too bad either. I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms.
The spa and pool are tiny; they control capacity with advance reservations, and small children are only allowed in the morning.
The gym has a few machines, enough to work the major muscle groups.
Breakfast is varied; in my opinion, it lacks the typical Alentejo bread. On the first day, the scrambled eggs looked very dry, but by the second day, they were already good. I think it's rude for the staff to start rushing around 10 a.m., clearing tables, restricting access to only part of the buffet, and then starting cleaning and not restocking.
It was a pleasant stay.
AAlentejoIt is always so good to be back. Even on a winter day, the hotel makes you feel comfortable. Relaxing landscape in a very large room, with an excellent bed. Water and chocolates are provided as courtesy. The balcony seems to put you inside the countryside, breath in breath out, and take all the fresh air you can. You can even take a bath while you enjoy the view.
Breakfast is sublime. Freshly baked eggs on demand, coffee bar with hand made beverages, pastry and fresh fruit with several local items available. All of this while you glance at the infinite pool. You can even have breakfast outside, if it is not to cold.
GGuest UserI love this hotel and have been there many times throughout the years. It still have the same charm despite the fact that is getting old, however a lot of updates and improvements have been done to keep it up to date.
On personal note I will suggest to open the interior pool early. As the opening time it's 10 am. I personally love to swim first thing in the morning, before breakfast and since there is no one from staff in there , they just need to open the door. I ask at the reception but was told it was impossible to do that. So I live the suggestion for the future!
