4-Starhotels in Callao, Peru

"First point of note. This hotel is NOT at the airport. It's at the old airport which is no longer used. I got caught out by the reviews, which pissed me off. If you want to be right next to the airport, the hotel is Wyndham Grand Hotel Costa del Sol, and not the one I'm reviewing for. This hotel requires a ten minute shuttle ride to get to, and the area looks abandoned, which it is. That said, this hotel was all right. The breakfast was good but they wouldn't allow early check in, unlike the Wyndham Grand which does allow it. The bath in the room was great. Because the area is abandoned there is no noise at night. Comfortable bed and pillows. All in all I would not have stayed here had I known this hotel is at the old airport. I would've stayed at the Wyndham Grand instead, which looks much nicer and newer and really is right across from the new airport. I had a good enough stay but the lack of letting an early check in makes me not recommend this old looking hotel. Stay at the Wyndham Grand instead. Looks a hundred times nicer than this hotel and is way more convenient."

"Het hotel haalt u op bij TAXI365 bij het aankomstpunt. Wacht tien minuten en iemand brengt u naar de ophaalbus. Het hotel ligt tegenover de luchthaven en de omgeving is niet erg goed. Als je eenmaal het hotel binnenkomt, kom je er niet meer uit. Geniet van een lichte maaltijd in het restaurant van het hotel. De logeerkamer is niet klein, maar de ramen zijn klein en de badkamer is niet groot. U dient om 02.30 uur uit te checken. De receptionist, de portier, de chauffeur en het restaurant hebben allemaal dienst, dus u hoeft niet vroeg op te staan. Heel goed. Vergeleken met stadshotels is de prijs van dit hotel een beetje hoog."
