Really good location. Parking for 3 cars, no more. But safety and convenient. Good shower, good plumbing. Purity. There are snakes and lizards in the territory. They provided only one bottle of water for two person per day.

My booking was for 3 Double Deluxe King beds with lake views rooms, and I'm not happy because:
The rooms I booked were not the ones I got it. They told me the pictures were wrong, but they are still on the website, so be sure you finally get the rooms you booked.
Only 1 of the 3 rooms had lake views, the other 2 rooms were not lake views.
TV didn't work in one of the rooms.
All the 3 rooms need improvement.
I attached the picture of the room it was supposed I got it, but I didn't.
I contacted with reception desk 24 hours of arrival day asking for safari prices and they answered me one day after at 21 pm, so if you stay only for 1 or 2 days, this is a really late answer.
So be sure when you book and paid for the Deluxe lake view room is the correct one.
For other hand, the breakfast amd dinner menu are plenty od good and different choices of food.

Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Hotel Sudu Araliya in Polonnaruwa! De locatie is werkelijk prachtig, met adembenemende uitzichten en een serene ambiance. Het hoogtepunt van mijn bezoek was het zien van de zonsondergang – het was een werkelijk magische ervaring.
Het eten was heerlijk, met een grote variëteit voor elke smaak. Het personeel bood uitzonderlijke klantenservice, altijd vriendelijk en attent op onze behoeften, waardoor het verblijf nog aangenamer werd.
Als u op zoek bent naar een rustig uitje met geweldige uitzichten, uitstekend eten en warme gastvrijheid, dan is Hotel Sudu Araliya de perfecte keuze. Een echte aanrader! 🌅🍽️✨

Rooms were ok, beds were very squeaky, when asked to change they were quick to resolve. Changed rooms and the bed linen in the new room had stains. Lucky there were two beds one room so just slept in that. Left as soon as we could. Never again

Overall friendly service and helped us book tours to the temples. However, really bad WiFi in the rooms. Bedsheets weren’t that clean. Bathroom floor was kind of sticky at first, as if they cleaned it with sugar water. Don’t expect too much from the breakfast since it’s just white toast, an egg, one cherry tomato fried, and 4 sticks of French fries. The overall design of the hotel is very nice tho with a big tropical yard. For one or two nights it’s totally ok.

La struttura è situata davanti al lago. Immersa nella natura è molto suggestiva.
Siamo arrivati intorno alle 18 e purtroppo la piscina chiudeva alle 18:30 per cui non abbiamo avuto tempo di testarla. Offrono servizio di spa gratuita ma i massaggi sono a pagamento.
Il ristorante è ben fornito di alcolici, si mangia discretamente a buffet cucina sia tipica asiatica che internazionale a circa 15€ a persona. Anche la colazione è a buffet; si trovano prodotti dolci/salati e uova cotte al momento.
La nostra stanza (matrimoniale deluxe) era molto carina, su due livelli: nella parte inferiore il bagno ha un concept particolare. Una porta scorrevole ti porta direttamente nella stanza per metà a tetto coperto solo da una retina. Tutto molto bello ma poco pratico e soprattutto c’è il rischio di trovare molti insetti, come nel nostro caso.
Nella parte superiore c’è la stanza da letto, molto confortevole.
La tappezzeria non è del tutto pulita e questo va in contrasto con tutta la struttura.

VVarvaraStop for one night in the economy room. It is clear that for such a price it is not worth expecting anything substantial, but the mattresses were straight very bad, just a piece of fine poron, which is instantly sold to the most boards and in fact lie almost on boards. But it was all expected for such a price, so in general approx. Beautiful territory with garden and tables with views on the rice field.
What spoiled the impression: Breakfast! Ordered it extra because it did not go out in the cost of the housing, and I definitely don't recommend taking it in this place. This is not like a classic Lanca breakfast that is served in hotels of the same price category, and is twice as expensive as the same!

Every interaction was warm, friendly, and delivered beyond expectations.
The food was outstanding, with rich and flavourful bakery items and beautifully prepared curries that made each meal memorable.
Our room allocation and room service were handled with elegance and care. The spacious bathroom, generous amenities, and the breathtaking view added a special touch that we will never forget. Loss property service is admirable. I got my valuable shirt back—honest and True Values at Service by the staff.
The evening dinner with our family and friends was wonderfully arranged and thoughtfully catered—an experience we deeply cherished.
To Sanath, Janitha, and the entire team: thank you for making our anniversary stay both memorable and heartfelt.
A special appreciation also goes out to all service staff, security personnel, and support teams for their exceptional dedication.

耳耳東氵罒幸一止Ismattha Hotel Anuradhapura is easy to locate and nearby to the local sights.
we checked in pretty late and was still greeted by the reception with a big smile, appreciate their kindness and quick arrangements for check in and dinner at the restaurant was simply delicious.
room walls can be pretty thin though, so light sleepers should ask for a corner room, cuz can hear guests walking pass outside.
hotel parking is easy and safe, one key point for self drive tourists.
there's a nice pool which we didn't get to use but from the pool, one can relax an see local trains pass by, so it's pretty cool.
breakfast is simple but delicious and the staff are simply like friends welcoming you into their homes.

SSL Travel in JapanI recently stayed this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The breakfast was also a nice touch—fresh and with a good variety.
However, the only downside was the Wi-Fi. It was either very slow or not working at all during most of my stay, which was a bit frustrating since I needed to do some work online. I mentioned it to the front desk, but unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved.
If you don’t rely heavily on internet access during your stay, this place is a great choice. But for remote workers or those needing reliable connectivity, keep this in mind

GGuest UserA wonderful, comfortable place to stay. It is located in a really convenient place if you wish to walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and laundry services. The rooms/grounds/environment are very nice, sitting next to Habarana Lake and you will share the grounds with nature. The food was wonderful, especially the local Sri Lankan dishes. However, the best thing about this place is the staff - absolutely brilliant - friendly, helpful and attentive.

GGuest UserThis was a great location in Polonnaruwa. We loved all the services provided. The hotel had a great garden and I would say this is one of the best hotel gardens ever experienced in Sri Lanka. I specially thank front office “Hansika” which she was very proactive in helping out, also her wonderful customer service to all of us stayed at the hotel. We also would like to thank “Dilshan” for his services throughout dining. We wish both of these staff very well and hope to come back soon. Also would definitely recommend the place for wonderful stay with fantastic views over Parakrama Samdudraya.

He organised our half day safari & we enjoyed a fabulous meal the night before … such a variety of dishes, all home cooked … yummy
The place was amazing … very new & in excellent condition. They were not fully booked & so we were offered an upgrade.
His niece, Nikki?, accompanied us on the safari at no extra cost … her knowledge of birds & other wildlife really enhanced our experience. She willingly shared her photos with us, along with her excellent spotting ability.
Thanks to everyone who contributed in some way to a memorable weekend

アアザラチI highly recommend this place for your stay in Polonnaruwa.
You can enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on the terrace nestled in a quiet forest. A short walk away is a lake where you can stroll along the shore or watch the sunset.
The room was very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for your stay, including air conditioning and a hot water shower.
We only stayed one night due to our itinerary, but I recommend staying longer if you have the time.
