Hotels in Qinghai Province Museum/Xining Wildlife Park, Xining

Very nice clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room modern, clean and just right. Mine didn't have a closet or a safe but that's not such a big deal. This next point isn't about this particular hotel but for all girls in China. Please make it more accessible to non-chinese speaking foreigners. Each of the girls I started with during my trip, do not make any attempt or even try to care. China is getting super automated and self-service but their smart devices and controllers ranging from in-room controls to within the property like room service and delivery robots could also understand English would be fantastic. It's so much cheaper to add a new language to these agents than to have all their staff learn English and it would enhance our experience by a 100x as we would never bother the hotel staff with anything.

The hotel has a good environment, a good location, a good front desk service, free tea, candy and snacks at the front desk, as well as disposable razors and toilet pads. The room cleaning is very timely and efficient. The staff are very dedicated to handling problems in time. They are in the place for the sake of the guests and have lived for several days. Very satisfied with a stay experience, very close to the hospital and very close to the commercial pedestrian street. Recommended

Starting with the positives. The construction and decor was great. Showering space was also nice and new. Staff were also helpful and nice. Amenities are ok. Everything you would expect for washing up. But no AC for many rooms without windows is a travesty. Only a electric fan that can only blow for 1 hour at a time. Easy to get asphyxiated at night. Horrible stench of body odor and cigarette smoke was present when I entered my room. Hygiene seemed alright until I showered. And with a small waft of the towels a terrible stench of cigarette odor pierced my nostrils.. Expecting guests to wipe off with this odorous smell is disappointing. Water also leaks from the shower compartment into the toilet floor.

compared to the picture the room is much 'cheaper' and dirtier. The location is fairly central but it's situated within a park so it's not that easy to find and hard for a car to go in the area and maneuver. The staff are very sweet and friendly. Not terrible but not worth the money.
