The service was great, the doorman, porter, and front desk staff worked professionally, and our room got upgraded twice during our 2-day trip. Thanks very much for Kelly and her team for the service and prompt communication. The location is good, waking distance to the subway. The quality of fittings in the room is a question mark. The ducted air con looks like a joke. We set up the temperature below 20 degrees once we arrived in the late afternoon , but the room turned out to be an oven on the next day morning, as the temperature shown in the control panel was 28.5 degrees. We didn’t have a good sleep at all! The most efficient way to keep the room cool was opening the window and turning off the air con, thanks to the cleaning lady for that advice. Speechless.

The Dongjiao Hotel covers an area of approximately 1,000 mu, with nearly 70% of it being greenery. It is a huge oxygen bar in the city and is very suitable for strolling in the garden. The facilities and equipment in the rooms are also very complete. Manager Tyler Yu in the front hall led us to explore the beautiful scenery, history and culture of the entire Dongjiao area. Manager Yu Zhongren's explanations were very detailed, and the employees he led were also very polite. We will definitely come to Dongjiao again for a visit next time.

Very good accomodation, very clean, very comfort. They help us when we trouble with alipay, the staff is very helpful and friendly, nice and good. We very appreciate the staff that help us along the way, when we troubled with taxi, with didi and everything. Very recommended hotel 🙏🏻

Een absolute aanrader voor nieuwe esports-gasten! De inrichting is eenvoudig maar stijlvol, met uitstekende geluidsisolatie, waardoor je in een rustige kamer kunt gamen tot diep in de nacht. De hygiëne is uitzonderlijk grondig, met een vlekkeloze afwerking en geen onaangename geuren; elke ruimte wordt zorgvuldig schoongemaakt. De service is attent en gastvrij; het personeel is vriendelijk en begeleidt je geduldig bij het gebruik van de apparatuur. De faciliteiten werken soepel en zonder vertraging, en de gamingstoelen zijn comfortabel, zelfs gedurende langere tijd – een fantastische ervaring in het algemeen.

I stayed at the Evergreen Laurel Hotel Shanghai during a short business trip from December 8 to 9, 2025, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and both the room and public areas felt well maintained. It provided a very comfortable environment to relax after a busy workday. The location was another strong advantage. It was convenient for business travel, with easy access to transportation and the surrounding commercial districts. This made it simple to move between meetings and return to the hotel without any hassle. Service quality was consistently impressive. The staff were friendly, efficient, and always ready to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any small requests were handled quickly. Their warm attitude made the stay feel very welcoming. The hotel’s facilities were also satisfying. The room was quiet and comfortable, suitable for both resting and handling work tasks. The overall setup supports a smooth and productive business trip experience. In summary, Evergreen Laurel Hotel Shanghai delivered a comfortable and reliable stay with great service and an excellent location. It is a solid choice for business travelers, and I would be happy to stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

Stay here almost 3 weeks , and it is the best experience ever . im from malaysia . the room is superb , their staff also very friendly and helpful. The laundary service on top . we got free late night food also ! Worth to try this hotel. Didi also easier to book . and just right at the centre.

Very inexpensive for Shanghai, everything was adequate but nothing was exceptional. Staff spoke English well enough to be understood, free water, tea and coffee always welcome. The peach tea was especially good. The near by food street is worth a visit if you can speak mandarin, good local food at low prices.

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is polite and thoughtful, responds promptly when asking, breakfast options are many and the ingredients are fresh, and you can relax and live. Check-in also sent a small fruit plate, the fruit plate fruit is fresh and delicious! The overall environment is great! Push! ! !

Very friendly staff willing to help us with any question or request. The room was very big, cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. Breakfast was very rich and tasty. Lunch and dinner was delicious.
