"I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment I checked in until I left. The room was clean, cozy and exactly what I needed for my trip. The location was also perfect—it was close to all the places I wanted to visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay, and I’ll definitely come back next time!"

"My stay at Novotel Cambridge was extremely disappointing due to serious cleanliness issues. Upon checking into Room 205, I discovered visible blood stains on the duvet. This is not a minor oversight — it is a basic hygiene failure. Clean bedding is the absolute minimum standard any guest should expect. Finding blood stains immediately raised concerns about the room being properly cleaned and inspected. I reported the issue and was informed that the bedding had been cleaned again. However, when I returned to check, the stains were still there. This was both frustrating and alarming, as it suggested a lack of proper quality control within housekeeping. Only after escalating the matter was it properly addressed. Charlotte, the manager, eventually upgraded us to an executive room and provided complimentary breakfast, which I appreciate. However, this does not change the fact that the initial room condition was unacceptable and should never have happened in the first place. An upgrade is a service recovery gesture — it does not erase the hygiene concern or the distress caused at the start of our stay. I hope the hotel seriously reviews its cleaning procedures and room inspection standards to prevent future guests from experiencing the same issue. Unfortunately, based on cleanliness alone, I would not rate this stay highly."

"We absolutely loved the Hotel and would nightly recommend. Lots of room so our daughter felt like she had her own little area. Breakfast was of a high standard. My only criticism is I couldn’t open the bedroom windows . There is only AC. As a woman of a certain age this wasn’t helpful. Otherwise I wholeheartedly recommend.."

"Room is small and little bit old fashion style, this hotel is a historical hotel so it doesn’t affect it’s beauty. The room with Park view that awesome, pay 333 pounds per night is ok for the value!! breakfast is good and the hotel is in the town center so it’s very easier to get whatever you want, don’t stay at the hotel near the railway station because it’s still has a distance to the city center!! hotel allowed free bicycle renting service, that’s so nice!!"

"I'm pleased with this accommodation where I stayed on my own for 1 night. Very clean. Shower was hot and effective. Bed was very comfortable, although the duvet did get too warm during the day and I didn't actually get a good night's sleep. No way to turn down room temperature as far as I could tell (this was end of September). Very good location. Only a 3-minute drive from the park & ride, and overnight I parked for free across from Sainsbury's, which is just 2 minutes' walk from Turing Locke. It's not in the city and would've required waiting for the bus if I were to go into the city, but didn't bother me as I quite like staying out of city. Would recommend."

"Het hotel ligt aan de andere kant van het treinstation in Cambridge, meer dan 20 minuten lopen van het centrum van Cambridge en de universiteiten. Het hotel is rustig omgeven. Het venster van de kamer is niet groot, maar kan de lucht openen. Het hotel is zeer groot, de bedden zijn zeer hoog en slaapt op de winter, zoals in een warme stad. De badkamer is schoon en waterdicht. De kast van het water is open en biedt eenvoudige trap."
