Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa

No hot water at 4.30pm Been driving all day and in meetings Restaurant/bar area dirty (crumbs/table) Paid £25 upgrade ( got 2 single beds pushed together) nowt else....was told by Head office it would be superior??? Receptionist said thats the deluxe No idea what I got ......definitely neither

Facilities and cleanliness good. Had to wait 90 minutes for food in the evening in restaurant which was ridiculous!

Nice hotel and spa near Cambridge. Only 20mins from town and it has bus to go there frequently. Everything is excellent, but swimming pool is not enough compared to number of guests. Sauna, stream room and all area of Cambourne are excellent for relaxing.

The room was clean and spacious, we enjoyed a visit to the pool, sauna and steam room. The breakfast was plentiful within a nice setting. We liked the outdoor area and found the staff friendly and helpful.

Been 3 times now. The hotel is a great place for a relaxing break. The spa facilities and pool are lovely and it was a bonus to enjoy the waterside outdoor area in the warm weather. Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished room. Good to find a fan in the wardrobe! The breakfast food was of good quality but the arrangements were a bit disorganised this morning. Crockery etc was hard to find/ missing, clearer labels were needed e.g a label on the hot water container and soya milk labelled correctly. It was called "oat milk". The bar menu is a bit limited in my opinion. Just little details but the overall experience was very good. Sure I'll be back.

The stay was okay, however there were a few details that unfortunately let it down. Our room was very dated and the bathroom tiles were cracked and overall it needed some attention. Breakfast was average however 45 before it ended there was very little left and it didn’t appear that things were being replenished very quickly. We had an early dinner within the bar area and my partner was happy with the Nachos however my pea and mint soup was very flavourless and the bread of my sandwhich was stale which disappointing for the cost.

On the second day, I went to the reception and explained the situation regarding how his colleague had handled my booking. The receptionist was understanding and informed me that I could simply move from one room to another without having to check out and wait to be checked into a new room. This made the process much smoother and highlighted that the inconvenience I experienced the previous day could have been avoided with clearer communication.

Spa facilities a little tired but Spacious bar area and nice rooms with comfortable beds. We were unsure as to whether breakfast was served on a Monday as conflicting information. But would recommend a stay as good value for money.

Had a really good stay with family. Breakfast was good, staff in dining area were friendly and professional, delivering excellent service. Reception staff could improve on making guests feel welcome. Overall, a nice experience at the hotel.
