Hotels met spa in Qingdao

Overall the hotel staff and service are 4 star. What makes the hotel 5 Star are the rooms and facilities. It is clean, safe, and well maintained. To be fair, I did arrive in early April during the off-season but I was not impressed with the service provided. Staff was consistently difficult to find, or would be crowded all in the lobby. Check-In and Check out was easy and the staff are very nice. International guests be aware, few to no staff speak English or communicate in any other language. The breakfast was not good. Cold and hard food, empty plates, drinks and foods not being refilled, and then having the lights turned off after breakfast was finished being served. Few selections, mainly cheap foods and breads. There are no staff outside, during my time there. No bell hops, no one to guide you to the front desk (Because it is not easy to find at first), no one to help with your luggage. A single staff member stands at the front of the lobby after you enter to greet you. Positives - The room was spacious and very clean. It had most things I needed and the quality of the room and bathroom was excellent. The balcony looked over the courtyard and the ocean which people can see you if you go out but was a nice addition. The island the hotel is on has everything close by and most taxis/Didi’s will pick you up within five minute The area has been developing for many years and is getting better each year. The Qingdao Beer Festival ground are close by (about 30 minutes drive) during the summer, but most activities are in the city about one hour drive away for the rest of the year. For this hotel, the room and facilities are the focus as they are well taken care of and maintained. I am not sure if I would return.

Het hotel is gelegen in de oude stad Jimo, een heel bijzondere plek waarvan de naam al eeuwenoud lijkt te zijn. De kamers beschikken over een charmante, authentieke binnenplaats, wat vast een welkome afwisseling is voor mensen die in hoge appartementencomplexen wonen! De architectuur is groots en indrukwekkend; als je voor de lobby staat, waan je je direct in de glorieuze Tang-dynastie, een tijdperk van weelde, geluk en overvloed voor iedereen. De service van het hotel is perfect in balans, precies goed – niet te veel, niet te weinig. Het is als een glas vruchtensap: niet te zoet, niet te machtig, maar heerlijk fris en gemakkelijk te drinken. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitgebreid en gevarieerd, en de tropische binnentuin stimuleert de eetlust zozeer dat je bijna op de rem moet trappen om niet te veel te eten en aan te komen! Als je last hebt van veel werkstress en het gevoel hebt dat alles tegenzit, is een verblijf in het Jimo Old City Junlan Hotel een uitstekende optie om er even tussenuit te zijn en tot rust te komen.

Great hotel with an excellent location and delicious breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Alina at the front desk, who provided outstanding service. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay The hotel is behind the Intercontinental hotel, right in the marina. It’s close to 4th May square. We have had a family room as it’s 6 of us and it was still great. The only thing is that’s only one shower, but we managed. The room is on 2 floors, upstairs big bedroom with a double bed and a toilet and downstairs one double bed a one single bed. The breakfast was nice, my kids loved it. Really great value for money. And the staff was very nice, very attentive to our needs. There’s also a Landry room, the hotel provided us with the detergent, free of charge. Totally recommend the place !!

Het hotel is gunstig gelegen en Xiao Gao bij de receptie was buitengewoon gastvrij en behulpzaam. Ze hielp ons snel bij het oplossen van eventuele problemen. We waren zeer tevreden over ons verblijf en zullen hier zeker nog eens terugkomen!

I would like to give a round of applause to this great hotel located next to airport as it showed good convenience for anyone who wishes to transit or stay for a vacation at Qingdao, China. Also, i would like to give a warm thank you to the receptionist at the time when I arrived at the hotel. Her name is “Even”, and she was ever so polite, kind and always smiling which made feel so welcome. She made my experience at the hotel very satisfying as she was very informative about the facilities and services the hotel had to offer its guests. I believe that wonderful staff deserves every credit for treating me like one of China’s own people. P.S. thank you so much Grand Barony Hotel for taking good care of me during my stay!

Great location, close to airport. Shuttle bus pick up at airport went without any issue since I have a Chinese phone number, but may be difficult to contact them without it. You need to call them to pick you up and then they will tell you where you’ll be picked up. They have shuttle bus schedule for departure from hotel so make sure you know the time and have to register via wechat. Only stayed for one night. Room was clean but the floor was a bit dirty. Took me awhile to turn on the fridge as it wouldn’t turn on. Appreciate the amenities. Overall, enjoyed my stay, thanks!

Check in and check out was easy. Staff were helpful and found ways around the language barrier. I was in town for the half marathon so only had a light breakfast but there was plenty to eat. There was a slight smell of stale cigarette but it was not so much that it impacted on the stay. The room met my needs and was very comfortable. There is a great park to walk or run around very close. A taxi is necessary to get to town or find a wider range of food options. I ate at the mirage which was a hot pot restaurant and this was a pleasant experience.

前台小姐姐服務很好，周到，幫忙免費升級房間，設施也很齊全，衞生也很好，地理位置不錯，買東西很方便，下次還會再來。床睡得非常舒服，早餐簡單但是味道很好，特別喜歡這家的裝修風格，很有氛圍感，拍照片張張出片兒，愛了愛了！交通方便，還很乾凈！我要推薦給我的朋友們~
