Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible. Check-in & First Impressions The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect. One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues. Room & Comfort I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning. The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily. One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets. Breakfast Experience The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right. The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. One Minor Issue The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable. Final Thoughts Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

Het is ongeveer 5 tot 8 minuten verwijderd van het treinstation. De kamer is groot genoeg. De kamer is erg elektronisch en leuk Het ontbijt was behoorlijk bevredigend, maar de airconditioner kon niet worden ingeschakeld, dus uiteindelijk heb ik het raam geopend. Gelukkig was het winter. De persoon die de kamer op de eerste dag schoonmaakte, nam de handdoeken in de kamer weg en gaf geen nieuwe. Ik kwam er vanmorgen achter dat ik hem had gevraagd het te bezorgen, maar hij heeft het nooit afgeleverd.

We had a wonderful stay at c-hotels Joy Firenze - the location is ideal for exploring Florence. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Santa Maria Novella train station, which made both arrival and departure incredibly easy, and most major sights are within walking distance.  The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was going well. Breakfast every morning was great, and a huge shout-out to Jade, whose kindness and willingness to go above and beyond made our mornings even better!  Our room was spotless and smelled amazing - honestly one of the best hotel room scents we’ve experienced, I’d happily use whatever they’re using at home! Overall, this was a fantastic base for our Florence trip. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city - a perfect mix of location, service, comfort, and value. 10/10 from us!

Vanaf het moment dat ik door de grote draaideuren stapte, werd ik getroffen door de tijdloze grandeur en de onberispelijke aandacht voor detail van het hotel. De lobby is een meesterwerk van marmeren vloeren, fonkelende kroonluchters en zachte zitgedeeltes die een sfeer van verfijnde weelde uitstralen. Het personeel begroette me hartelijk en checkte me efficiënt in en bood een verfrissend glas gekoelde limonade aan terwijl ik de formaliteiten vervulde. Vervolgens werd ik naar mijn kamer begeleid, waarbij mijn verwachting met elke stap groter werd. Toen ik de kamer binnenkwam, was ik meteen onder de indruk van de enorme omvang en de luxe inrichting. Het kingsize bed, versierd met fris beddengoed en zachte kussens, nodigde me uit om in zijn comfort weg te zinken. Het zitgedeelte was voorzien van een knusse fauteuil en poef, perfect om lekker weg te kruipen met een boek of gewoon te genieten van het uitzicht op de stad door de grote ramen. De badkamer was ronduit adembenemend, met glanzende marmeren oppervlakken, een diep bad en een inloopdouche met meerdere douchekoppen. Doordachte voorzieningen, zoals zachte badjassen, pantoffels en luxe toiletartikelen, droegen bij aan het algehele gevoel van verwennerij. De kamer beschikte ook over een goed gevulde minibar, een Nespresso-apparaat en een grote flatscreen-tv met een uitgebreide selectie aan kanalen. Of het nu ging om het regelen van een privéauto om mij naar mijn vergadering te brengen of het geven van een aanbeveling voor een plaatselijke must-see attractie, de service was onberispelijk. Een van de hoogtepunten van mijn verblijf was de centrale ligging van het hotel, waardoor ik gemakkelijk de levendige stad kon verkennen. Binnen een korte wandeling ontdekte ik charmante cafés, luxe boetieks en bruisende culturele bezienswaardigheden. Het conciërgeteam van het Ritz-Carlton was van onschatbare waarde en gaf insidertips en regelde reserveringen om ervoor te zorgen dat ik het meeste uit mijn tijd haalde. Toen mijn verblijf ten einde liep, vond ik het moeilijk om het zachte comfort en de verfijnde elegantie van het Ritz-Carlton achter te laten. Dit hotel is werkelijk een bestemming van wereldklasse en biedt een ongeëvenaarde mix van luxe, service en aandacht voor detail. 駅から7分、ウフッツイ美術館まで10分と、とても立地のいい場所にありますが、ホテルの看板があるわけではないので、見つけにくかった！10mそばに立っているのに、行ったり来たりしても分からず、近所のホテルマンに聞いたら「すぐそこだよ」て指差された先に小さなドア。インターホン押して、開けてもらって、3階に上がりようやくチェックイン。部屋は可愛い、朝食も朝早い出発だと言ったら「朝食店に作って前日引き渡しを依頼できる」と臨機応変な対応。シャワーもある、冷蔵庫もある、ベットボトル水も用意してある。部屋を出て一つ上に上がると共用の古都の屋根の風景がみえるテラスがある。チェックインがスムーズにいけばとてもいい宿。

Excelente ubicación, excelente, trato y servicio por todo el personal, especialmente por el recepcionista que está por las mañanas y que sabe hablar español. Su amabilidad y su atención: excepcional, el que tenga piscina, aunque sea pequeñita, para darse un chapuzón sobre todo en verano, con el calor que hace, es un punto importante a tener en cuenta, y aunque he leído que no avisan de que no tiene ascensor y que muchos casos, como a nosotros, te mandan al segundo piso con muchos escalones, es cierto, pero también ellos te suben y te bajan las maletas. Sin duda, repetiré en este Hotel en mi próximo viaje a Florencia .

During my recent trip to Florence, I had the pleasure of staying at the Anglo American Hotel. Overall, my experience at this hotel was delightful, and I would gladly recommend it to fellow travelers. First and foremost, the location of the Anglo American Hotel is superb. Situated in the heart of Florence, it offers easy access to the city's major attractions, including the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Uffizi Gallery. The hotel's central location made it convenient for me to explore the city on foot and truly immerse myself in its rich history and culture. The hotel itself has a charming and elegant ambiance. The interior is tastefully decorated, combining classic elements with modern touches. The common areas, such as the lobby and lounge, are inviting and provide a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. The staff at the Anglo American Hotel deserves special praise. From the moment I arrived, they were friendly, professional, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with any queries or requests I had, and their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable in helping me navigate the city and discover hidden gems. My room at the hotel was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room amenities, including a flat-screen TV and minibar, met my expectations. The cleanliness and tidiness of the room were maintained throughout my stay, thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, it does offer a delicious breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast spread was varied and catered to different tastes and dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the selection of local cheeses and cured meats. One minor drawback was the absence of a fitness center or spa facilities within the hotel. However, the staff was helpful in providing information about nearby fitness centers and wellness options, ensuring that guests have access to these amenities if desired. In summary, my stay at the Anglo American Hotel Florence was a delightful experience. The prime location, attentive staff, and comfortable accommodations contributed to a memorable visit to this beautiful city. While the absence of certain amenities was a minor drawback, it did not significantly impact my overall satisfaction with the hotel. I would recommend the Anglo American Hotel to travelers seeking a centrally located, well-appointed hotel with a charming ambiance in Florence.

Hotel overall is okay for a 3 star. Employees were always friendly. Free parking and if full, hotel as a old garage underneath which it was where we parked. Breakfast was okay also for a 3 star hotel. Amenities nothing to be honest, on our room we had some stuff broken also… could get some refurbishment. And also, it is not a queen bed, it was two single beds close to each other… with no top mattress anything…
