"First time try out. Lobby is nice and cosy except personally I don’t like the room. Soundproofing of the door is terrible and the theme colour of the room I don’t really like it. It doesn’t give out a very good vibes. Gym room located not a good location and it close super early around 8pm??? I didn’t took picture of the room cos I just want to faster get over for 1 night and check out. I won’t be back. P/s I read from review hair dryer is Dyson brand. It is not. Is just normal China brand. Quality is okay as most things are made in China."

"Ik vind de locatie, vlakbij Ipoh Parade, prettig, maar helaas is er geen koffiehuis of restaurant in de buurt van het hotel. Je moet naar een ander gebouw lopen voor Chinees eten. Als je voor je plezier komt, is dat prima, maar als je voor je werk komt, kun je beter in het hotel ontbijten. Het hotelontbijt bestaat uit nasi lemak en noedels, elke dag hetzelfde. De noedels worden soms vervangen door Maggi-noedels. Er is ook dagelijks brood en muesli. De noedels zijn erg lekker. Als ze een restaurant voor het publiek zouden openen, zou dat zeker een voordeel voor het hotel zijn. Een nadeel van het hotel is dat er maar weinig stopcontacten op de kamers zijn. Je moet je eigen verlengsnoer meenemen. Dan is er nog de airconditioning; zelfs met 17 graden kun je 's nachts nog zweten. De airconditioning is eigenlijk meer een accessoire, je moet de ventilator aanzetten om te kunnen slapen. Het hotel rekent voor een kamer met airconditioning, maar je krijgt een kamer met ventilator. Je voelt de airconditioning alleen als je op de bank zit. In bed voel je de koude lucht niet. Op een superhete dag in Maleisië komt je kamer aan als een oven, tenzij je de airconditioning aanzet. De schoonmaakdienst maakt de kamer alleen schoon als je erom vraagt. Het hotel zou de gast bij het inchecken moeten informeren of een briefje in de kamer moeten ophangen. Er is geen telefoon in de kamer om de receptie te bellen voor hulp. Je moet je mobiele telefoon gebruiken om naar het vaste nummer te bellen voor hulp of naar de lobby gaan om iets te vragen."

"I recently stayed at The Stallionz in Ipoh, and it was a pleasant surprise. As a very new property, it definitely has that ”fresh” feel and modern aesthetic that's hard to beat. The Good (Exceeded Expectations) • Immaculate & Modern: Since the building is very new, everything from the lobby to the rooms felt pristine. The design is sleek and far more ”premium” than I expected for the price point. • Top-Notch Facilities: The common areas and pool are standout features. They’ve clearly put effort into making the place ”Instagrammable” and comfortable for a chill staycation. • Convenience: Great location in the heart of town, making it easy to grab food or head out for sightseeing. Things to Note While the stay was mostly great, there were two small issues that guests should be aware of: • Bathroom Ventilation: One downside was the lack of an air ventilation system (exhaust fan) in the toilet. This can make the bathroom feel a bit stuffy/humid after a shower, so you might need to leave the door open to air it out. • Room View (Lower Floors): I stayed on the 2nd floor, and there was almost no view to speak of. If you’re someone who values a city or mountain skyline, I’d highly recommend requesting a unit on a higher floor (Level 10 or above) to really enjoy the surroundings."

"The hotel located at the busy road area but the moment you enter the hotel it feels like you're entering the whole new world. The chill ambient, cozy and warm atmosphere occupied the whole parameters. Staff are superb especially the front desk - Kaushilliya. The room offers generous amount of amenities and you won't miss out the excitement. The cons i noticed is just that the gym were close. Kudos to the hotel management and surely will back here on the very next trip to Ipoh."

"We verbleven hier 5 nachten. Wifi op de kamer is er helemaal niet. Je moet naar de lobby om wifi te vinden. We kregen te horen dat er wifi-problemen waren. Je kunt wel inloggen, maar er is geen internet. De hotelfaciliteiten zijn erg basic. Verblijf hier als je de locatie wilt benutten."
