3-Starhotels in Ipoh

I took their spa package with scrap and ended up both legs and back became itchy and red dots. Please make sure you have insensitive skin before you try it out.

Service was friendly and approachable, we were able to get fast attention from the front desk due to our room cards malfunctioned and in another instance one of the lift malfunctioned. Around 10 parking lots are ready for guests, with additional street parking. Room and bathroom size is still maneuverable for Asians, and the design is of minimalist and modern style at the same time. Sound proofing is near to none as we can hear other guests conversation, whether they are at the corridor or next room.

For the price, I think it is a reasonable option.  However objectively: 1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking.  The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about.  To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.  2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews.  However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.  3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both.  They only cleaned 1.  I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.  4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.  5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.  6. The staff were helpful and friendly.  Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).  7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible.  It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.  All in all, it was a decent stay.  Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained. 

I stayed at Manhattan Condo for 3 days and 2 nights and overall had a comfortable experience. The unit was clean, modern, and well-equipped with basic amenities like Wi-Fi, kitchenware, and a washing machine, which made the stay convenient. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was responsive and friendly. The location is strategic—just a short drive to Ipoh town, eateries, and attractions like Lost World of Tambun. The gym and swimming pool in the condo were kept up nicely, and the security system seemed dependable. For families or small groups seeking a comfortable and reasonably priced stay in Ipoh, it's an excellent option overall. I would most certainly think about returning!

Stayed here recently and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities provided. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were generally friendly. However, I tried calling room dining but couldn’t get through — hope that can be improved. Overall, a nice stay and would consider coming again.

The hotel arranged for us to stay in a corner room which has weak WiFi access. I didn't have WiFi for the entire three nights stay. Furthermore, the bed was rather hard and the room was rather small. However, the hotel provides excellent breakfast and is located at a very strategic location. The hotel is very close to the Ipoh parade and within 10 mins drive to famous tourist spots like concubine lane. Overall, the experience was just alright.

U kunt ook de voorkant van het Indonesische meisje vragen om voeder voor kleine dieren. Het standalone gebouw dat we ingebleven heeft twee slaapkamers en één woonkamer. De familie woont comfortabel samen. De baas kan vloeiend communiceren in zowel Chinees als Engels. Communiceren via WhatsApp voor de check-in, gelukkig verzenden uitnodigingbrief. Het is heel ceremonieel. Een prachtige eenpersoonsverblijf. Er is een kleine zoo. 🦌🦜🐒🐓 Er zijn kleine bibliotheken en gastenkamers 📖 Een schoon water en een kleine keuken. Ik kan ook vragen of de MM van de receptie in Indonesië kleine dieren wil voeden. Eenpersoonskamer, twee slaapkamers en één woonkamer. Het is een gezellig huis. De baas spreekt Chinees + Engels, en communiceert vrolijk. - Voordat u wilt. Het is een ritual. Aanbevolen ❤️

The location is nearby the Cocubine Lane within 5 minutes walk。It has secure lock after midnight to come in the hotel so is safe. The room wall is just like the name bricks . It has very strong mouldy smell. Bed is not comfortable will sink when sleep. There is tV but no allow to ON it . no provide bottle water and also no provide slipper for bathroom,no toothbrush.The bathroom water no partition with toilet so have to becareful slippery after shower . Soundproof not that good .

The location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient. House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toilet’s door. Not much soundproof,you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by. The design of the car park is a nightmare. It’s octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go. The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I haven’t checked if I received the return).

The hotel location is excellent, very convenient for business travellers. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities provided were good. Service was average, could be improved with faster response from staff. Overall, a comfortable stay and good value.
