Hotels met ontbijt in Cebu

Mijn verblijf in Bai Hotel Cebu was niets minder dan uitzonderlijk. Het biedt een perfecte mix van moderne luxe, uitstekende service, en geweldige waarde. Of u nu voor zakenreizen of vrije tijd, het heeft alles wat u nodig hebt voor een comfortabele en aangename verblijf. Twilight Dachdeck Lounge + Bar - Dit was mijn favoriete plek. Het dakpool en de bar bieden prachtige uitzichten op de Cebu City skyline. Ik heb hier een laatmiddag verbleven en de vibe, muziek en atmosfeer waren perfect voor ontspanning. Het is ook dichtbij het beroemde Rico Lechon Restaurant Ik zou het Bai Hotel Cebu zeer aan iedereen die het gebied bezoekt, en zal het zeker op mijn volgende reis naar Cebu weer kiezen.

We verbleven zes nachten in een kamer met een keuken als onderdeel van een ouder-kind uitwisselingsprogramma, met twee volwassenen en een zesjarige. Er was een grote supermarkt in de kelder en een buurtwinkel en verschillende restaurants die tot laat open waren op de begane grond. De kamer was erg schoon en we hebben geen insecten gezien. Alle benodigde keukengerei was aanwezig en het personeel waste de afwas af bij het schoonmaken van de kamer. Er was een waterfles van 4 liter, wat erg handig was. Het bed was echter een tweepersoonsbed, dus het was een beetje krap, zonder ruimte voor een extra bed. Er was wel een babybedje en een slaapbank, dus dat was te doen. Er was ook een wasmachine, wat handig was, maar de droogfunctie was zwak, dus je moest je kleding aan hangers drogen. Er is geen aparte droogfunctie. Dus als je er langer verblijft, is het handig om hangers te hebben om je kleding te drogen. Ik had de gelegenheid om in een andere maisonette-achtige kamer met keuken te verblijven. Het bed was ruim en er was een badkuip, dus ik kan het zeker aanraden. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en gevarieerd, met een ruime keuze aan brood, Filipijnse gerechten, westerse gerechten en pap, dus ik heb me er geen moment op verveeld. Het zwembad had ook een fijne sfeer, en hoewel de fitnessruimte bij het zwembad erg klein is, was het prettig dat ik steeds heen en weer naar het zwembad kon lopen. Er is ook alcohol verkrijgbaar. Omdat het hotel op de 9e verdieping ligt, was het 's avonds wel een beetje winderig en fris. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en ik heb een geweldige ervaring gehad.

This is a hidden gem and we highly recommend this resort! Pros: - It is next to a coral reef and they provide free snorkeling equipment in great condition to use! This is the best reason to stay here, all the snorkeling you want for free and without the need to travel! - Very cozy environment with about 8 rooms only? You will have lunch and dinner with the same groups of people. - Food is delicious, slightly expensive but reasonable. From my short experience, the specials of the night tend to be nicer than the normal menu items, but they are all good regardless. - I love the resort arranged tour. We took a whale shark + secret waterfall tour, and the guide, Alex, was great. It was a personal tour (2 of us) and we had to leave at 4am (we were slightly late and left around 405-410am), and when we reached the whale shark place, it was already quite crowded and we got a queue number of 52 - still pretty good. After taking the queue number, there are a bunch of shops to shop around, but we stupidly forgot to bring any cash, and Alex was kind enough to lend us money for breakfast and souvenirs. He even helped us bargain with the street peddlers when they tried to overcharge us. When swimming with the majestic whale sharks, he used his go-pro to help us take photos and videos, so we just need to enjoy ourselves and pose. Personally, I think the whale shark experience is pretty basic, not well organized and too crowded, but Alex made the experience unforgettable with his personal touches and help. Cons: - The worst part is getting there. It took us 5.5 hours to get here from Mactan-Cebu Airport using the private transfer when we arrived around 1230pm Saturday. There was jam to get out of the airport, jam in Cebu city and road works all along the road to Granada. When we returned to the airport in Monday morning 4am, the trip took about 3 hours. - The massage is in a room with a nice sea view, but the massage was very gentle and I prefer something stronger to sooth the body aches (from sitting in the car for over 5 hours). So I guess this is up to personal preferences. - The snorkeling was great, but it could be a bit intimidating when it's just the 2 of us snorkeling unsupervised in a large open sea. We did not face any danger, but also did not dare to venture too far and for too long as we city folks are worried about snakes and jellyfishes. We do see fishes jumping out of the sea in the distance, and this could be a sign of predators nearby. - Adults only. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and would love to bring our kids here in the future and spend more time here. However, with their adults only policy, we won't be able to do that.

Voor de t****e keer ingecheckt, maar dit keer voor 3 nachten. Laten we ons meer concentreren op de voorzieningen/faciliteiten (strand, sportschool en eten) De pendeldienst rijdt nu elk uur vanaf het schrijven van deze recensie. Savoy en Belmont hebben een optimale oplossing gevonden voor de afstand van het strand. Vraag altijd aan de receptie hoe laat de volgende shuttle-ophaaldienst is. Er zijn twee soorten voertuigen, een modern busje (belmont) en een traditionele jeep (savoy), die om de beurt gasten ophalen en afzetten. Het strand biedt uitzicht op de zonsopgang, dus voor mensen die de beste bruine lijnen willen krijgen, moeten jullie vroeg in de ochtend zijn. Ondertussen zijn hier foto's van 13.00 tot 17.00 uur te zien met zeer goede schaduwrijke delen en hoogtij. Verwacht geen superfijn zand, de kustlijn heeft grote rotsen, maar het is beheersbaar. Op een bepaald uur van de dag is het water helder en zijn kleine vissen zichtbaar. Ga zwemmen in de middelste delen waar geen minimale rotsen aanwezig zijn, maar zodra je een duik neemt, zul je de koude en hete stroming die door je lichaam stroomt waarderen. Uniek en ontspannend gevoel. De sportschool is optimaal, als je verstand hebt van dumbbells dan ben je blij met het zwaarste gewicht van 50kg. Het cardiogedeelte kijkt uit op het zwembad. Machines zijn beheersbaar, goed om gewoon een pomp te krijgen. Het eten dat gedurende 3 nachten wordt geserveerd, is vrijwel hetzelfde als mijn vorige recensie. Filipijns-Amerikaans ontbijt. Doordeweeks is het fris, maar in het weekend wordt het erg druk. Verblijf je dus op een doordeweekse dag, dan krijg je nog steeds volle borden en kommen te zien. In het weekend een ander verhaal. Eén hack is dus dat je van 06.00 uur tot 08.00 uur moet gaan om de verschillende keuzes te zien. De mentaliteit van de meeste mensen zal ervoor kiezen om van 9.00 tot 10.00 uur te gaan, zodat ze zich tot de lunch vol voelen. Raad eens, wat je op die momenten natuurlijk zult zien zijn lege borden en kommen. Haha Het eten dat op het strand wordt geserveerd is oké. Iets om je maag mee te vullen. De bestsellers hebben de voorkeur, het kan beter. Bij de vaste menu's is een drankje inbegrepen.

Perfect resort for a getaway, with friendly and super helpful staff! We had a great time there!

We boekten de 4 nachten in het hotel omdat het op loopafstand van het winkelcentrum Robinson en andere eetgelegenheden ligt. We boekten het hotel voornamelijk om te slapen, omdat onze tours al heel vroeg in de ochtend begonnen. De boeking is inclusief ontbijt, maar aangezien we vertrekken voor rondleidingen voordat het ontbijt opengaat, heeft het personeel ons elke dag broodjes en koffie ingepakt. Kamer is schoongemaakt en comfortabel zoals op foto's. Zou dit hotel de volgende keer boeken. Trouwens, we raden de Thewi Thai-massage daar in de buurt aan.

Alles op het verwachte niveau behalve één, maar behoorlijk cruciaal voor mij probleem: het airconditioningsysteem is bedekt met schimmel. Het heeft ernstige gevolgen voor mij gehad: ik ben allergisch voor schimmels en heb al enkele uren na aankomst ernstige allergieën gekregen, terwijl ik niet kon achterhalen wat de oorzaak was. De kamer voelde erg vochtig en stinkend aan, dus ik hoopte dat het inschakelen van de airconditioning binnen een paar uur een probleem zou oplossen, maar het wordt aanzienlijk erger. Ik heb een andere kamer toegewezen gekregen nadat ik de reden heb geïdentificeerd (foto bijgevoegd); alternatieve kamer had minder problemen (niet duidelijk stinken), maar het airconditioningsysteem was ook bedekt met schimmel. Ook het zwembad was in onderhoud, wat niet was aangekondigd tijdens het boeken... Als ik met een kind reis, zou ik een ander hotel hebben geboekt als ik deze informatie had gehad.

I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy. My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi. To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark. The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering. Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out. My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner. My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A. I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

Stayed with my toddler for one night. Hotel room was great and clean but their service sucks. I requested to borrow utensils but they never came. Aqua play was closed due to maintenance. Playroom was not free for the type of booking that I availed which sucks cos it says on the fine print that it’s free. It made my toddler so disappointed cos of wrong info. Beach was dirty and low tide when we came. Swimming pool was dirty. The only highlight i guess was the breakfast buffet, lots to choose from and delicious.. but overall it’s kid friendly, although we just came in at the wrong time. Some facilities needs some maintenance and some Korean guests needs to know where the trash bin is located. Ts

There is one staff that disappointed us. She gave us wrong room because i booked mountain view then what we got is a wall, she said the mountain is behind that wall, omg, how come?..but later on she called again and transferred us to another room with mountain view, ok fine. But what dissapoints us more is when she called again and said, that they will get the set of cups from our new room for the reason that we already used the cups on the first room that she gave us, and that makes me mad, is that a big thing? Because of that we never use their cups, instead we buy our own. When we confront her, she’s not apologetic but instead answering us stupidly. Another thing is their flat iron is for rent, 200 pesos every 1 hour of using it. We have many travels abroad and have checked in several hotels,  Ist time in history that I encountered a hotel like that only in Cebu
