Hotels met ontbijt in Bath

This is my first hotel booking with Trip and I must say I was skeptical at first whether it would go through. Thankfully, the hotel did receive the confirmation. Just needed to tell the receptionist your surname and they’ll be able to locate you in their system. We were passed complimentary cookies, which were really yummy. The bed in the double room was smaller than expected but it was still good enough for two adults. The rooms are not very soundproof so you can hear the outside cars if you’re on the side facing the city. But if you’re not overly sensitive, the sounds are acceptable. The 24/7 gym was fairly well-equipped for the space capacity. They had gym towels, sanitary wipes, and water refiller. The hotel breakfast was enjoyable as well. The restaurant had a good view. Overall, the stay was a really good deal! Would use Trip.com again.

It was a very special reunion for a group of nurses celebrating 50 years since we started our course in May 1975. In those days this hotel was a nurse's home and we all lived here for around 18 months. We had booked lunch,the food was lovely and the service was amazing. We so enjoyed our stay, 5 of us stayed for one or two nights. So beautiful and peaceful, couldn't have been better. Benice organised things for us, highly recommend her if you are booking an event.

We had an amazing stay at The Bailbrook House Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and all the food was excellent. We had a small issue at breakfast as were quite late coming in for it and some of the fruit had gone, however having said that the poached egg and avocado on sourdough I had was to die for, and was delicious, and the full english was very good too. All in all it was all very enjoyable stay and would definitely return, and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Het is gunstig gelegen op slechts ongeveer 3 minuten lopen van de Romeinse baden en tegenover Sally Lunn's. Met mijn Marriott Platinum Card heeft het hotel, zelfs met een reservering van een derde partij, ons opgewaardeerd naar een grotere kamer op de begane grond met uitzicht op de straat nadat we ons account hadden gematcht, maar het is niet aan te raden vanwege mogelijk lawaai. Ze boden ook een gratis à-la-carteontbijt aan. Ontbijtslots moesten tijdens het inchecken worden gereserveerd en we kozen om 10.00 uur een tafel. Het ontbijt was overvloedig en het restaurant had een charmante en heerlijke sfeer. De ervaring was uitstekend (de beste dingen zijn gratis!). Helaas heb ik geen ruimte voor meer foto's, maar ik zal er later een van het restaurant plaatsen. De kamer was vrij klein, ontworpen in een moderne Britse stijl, met een filmthema-inrichting volgens de posters aan de muur. Alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig, met toiletartikelen van lokale merken die bij de receptie te koop waren voor £ 25 voor twee flessen. Ze waren redelijk, maar niets bijzonders om mee naar huis te nemen. De minibar bevatte koffie, verschillende soorten thee, pakjes halfvolle melk en koekjes. Het gebottelde stilstaande water was in een esthetisch aantrekkelijke ingeblikte vorm. 🌟 Er ligt een Elemis-slaappakket op het bed: tempelbalsem/slaapmist/oogcrème, geplaatst op een hotelkaart en ziet er heel voortreffelijk uit. Het bed was zeer comfortabel. ❌ Er waren echter een paar nadelen aan deze plek... een beetje zenuwslopend... Ik weet niet zeker of ik gewoon pech heb gehad. De hotelgangen waren enigszins verwarrend en ik opende per ongeluk de verkeerde kamerdeur met mijn eigen kamerkaart. Vreemd genoeg slaagde iemand er de volgende dag rond tien uur in, terwijl ik in de badkamer was en mijn zoon op bed lag, ondanks het feit dat we de klink van onze deur hadden vastgezet, de deur een stukje te openen, vermoedelijk omdat hij mijn zoon op bed had zien liggen, en toen sloot de deur. Misschien was het een huishoudelijk personeelslid dat de kamer wilde schoonmaken? Hoe dan ook, het voelde nogal vreemd… een beetje verontrustend, om eerlijk te zijn

I had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel! The receptions were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the start. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options I enjoyed the hotel’s historical building.The location is convenient for exploring the city, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, a wonderful experience—I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again!

I'm so disappointed with their service when it comes to cleanliness..I do understand how busy this time of the year,but they should be consistent with it comes to cleanliness.I always choose HOLIDAY IN EXPRESS because I have very good experience last year (NEW YEAR) in scotland branch and it was amazing experience..so I thought it would be the same here in HI Express Bath..We travelled as a family and my son 11y/o is Autistic,with ADHD and OCD as well as allergies...this kind of bed(sofa bed LINEN is unacceptable to whoever will stay there...we were told to wait until we occupied our room for this sofa bed to be ready,still we are not provided with bed sheets for this...really devastating,so sad and disappointing...

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. Good view and good vibe nearby. Chill and nature, bus stop at entrance, convenient! Slient and safe at night. Good to stay with family or friends! Pantry is 24hr open for cook or chill.

Het gebouw, gelegen in een vallei buiten Bath, heeft de uitstraling van een klein Europees kasteel. Buiten zitten, genieten van een glaasje wijn of een ander drankje met een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei is zeer aangenaam. De faciliteiten op de kamer zijn echter verouderd, de vloerbedekking maakt het lastig om bagage te verplaatsen en er is een trapje met een halve trede vanaf de lift, wat erg onhandig is voor mensen met grote koffers. Het ontbijt was ronduit het slechtste ontbijt van de hele reis; noch lekker, noch aantrekkelijk.

It was great, the reception, the bedroom, the bathroom, and Dani was very kind with us, but there was not breakfast!!
