I stayed here for two days in June last time. I missed it very much. This time I came here for three days, but this time I was told that happy our could not be used. This time I came to stay, the TV was broken, the hot water was not hot, and the amount of water was very small. Using happy hour, my children took time off and drove nearly five hours to stay here. They were not in a good mood these three days and didn’t even go to the playroom or swimming pool. I will move to another place next time and will not consider coming here again.

What a classy place! The views were great and the location perfect to visit the gorge. The bed was cozy and the A/C unobtrusive. The breakfast buffet had everything, and there were some high quality things in the gift shop. The morning and afternoon tours of the Gorge were good although not much English but what is there really to say? The chef tried to flexible to accommodate our vegetarian preferences. However, the food wasn’t super tasty. Massages were good but pricey. An expensive but high quality place.

Very clean, shower and toilet inside and outside the room. Bed are big enough and comfortable. Breakfast is provided! Toast, ham, cheese and various spreads. The crowd is very different from any hostel I stayed before, many middle age people and even kids!! So might not be the perfect place for you if you want to make friends. Everyone I talked to, from the staff to the guest was extremely nice! At the reception you can get information to visit the taroko gorge.

This hotel also provides some snacks & drinks in the lobby which you can enjoy all day from 09⁰⁰ - 22⁰⁰. The customer service is also friendly, it's just a bit difficult to communicate. I chose a standard room but the facilities are complete (AC, mini fridge, hairdryer, hot water maker, toiletries, clothes hanger). I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Hualien. Recommended!

Service was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

Advantages 3. I thought there were so many tenants, it should be a bit noisy, but wrong, soundproofing is very good! There is a viewing balcony on the top floor. It should have a view of more than 180 degrees, right? You can also see warplanes rushing up the sky, so hi! After check in, there are still some small ideas for reference: First, the lobby on the first floor is very clean, the cafe is very clean, must be the result of hard staff cleaning! But it is strange that the public toilet on the first floor is not big, but the toilet trash can is full of toilet paper (all full to the floor) but no one cleans it. Is it strange? Second, before check-in, everyone said that the service staff here is very enthusiastic, ㄟ...... is not bad! But I didn't feel the enthusiasm! When I checked in, the counter lady gave me a formal explanation (I looked up at them, no smile!) The next morning I went to borrow my bike and the gentleman asked me to fill in the information with a straight face! At last, when I checked out, I pushed a 27-pack full of suitcases and two full backpacks into the heavy front door of the hall. The counter lady looked at me and said, ”Be careful on the way! There is no meaning to help me push the door open at all, let alone help me push it to the car! So are the service staff enthusiastic? I don't know! Maybe I am less gratifying haha! I still recommend it to everyone!

Easily reach out to the owner just by picking up the wall phone, fast and helpful service though it is not a face to face interaction. There's a washing machine just outside the hotel too (face the hotel, to your left), conveniently hung my clothes nearby to dry. Hear rooster calling out in the wee hours or dogs barking. There's a hotpot shop just opposite the hotel called 我们不一样, bus stop within 3mins walk from the hotel.
