Kindness Hotel Hualien

Great location right next to the station. Breakfast and dinner were complimentary and while the choice was huge, the food caters to a local/asian clientele. The other downside is that hotels in Taiwan are very inflexible about check in times. While check out is at 11, check in is at 3!!! And they will not give you a room until 3. If a hotel is charging for a day don’t know how they account for the 4 hours!!

Very close to the train station. Great breakfast buffet. Clean and dry (not humid) rooms.

The location is good , staff were very friendly, nice hotel . It would be better if bf can be longer , say from 7 am to 10.30 am

The room was big clean and comfortable. Loved the modern decor of the room and the bed was soft and comfortable. The breakfast was ok but very busy on first morning. The location was very near train station which was a plus but a bit far from downtown.

One of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience. They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment. The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard. The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi. Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.

Close to Hualien Station, free bicycle riding. The room is spacious. Breakfast is good. Snacks, coffee, pudding and ice cream are available for free.

Great service and perfect stay! Highly recommended for a visit to Hualien.

The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly.  Provides breakfast, some snacks, light dinner, and free bicycle rental
