What a classy place! The views were great and the location perfect to visit the gorge. The bed was cozy and the A/C unobtrusive. The breakfast buffet had everything, and there were some high quality things in the gift shop. The morning and afternoon tours of the Gorge were good although not much English but what is there really to say? The chef tried to flexible to accommodate our vegetarian preferences. However, the food wasn’t super tasty. Massages were good but pricey. An expensive but high quality place.

This is an affordable option to stay in Tianxiang Taroko, all the way from Qingshui Cliff to Yanzikou, Shakadang Trail... The scenery ranges from the vastness of the blue sea and sky to the breathtaking and magnificent beauty, and finally you stay at Tianxiang Youth Activity Center. The parking lot outside the hotel entrance is open-air. Walking down the slope of the hotel, there is a small restaurant and a public toilet next to it. Not far next door is the famous Taroko Jingying. There is a row of restaurants and visitor centers near Xiaoqi. This Xiaoqi has fixed business hours and is not open 24 hours a day. The environment here is quiet, the air is fresh, and it has the style of a canyon. It feels like you are wandering in a landscape painting, like a mini peach blossom garden! Unfortunately, the monkeys here sometimes come to snatch the food carried by tourists, so you must be careful. The building appearance of Tianxiang Youth Activity Center is slightly old, but the room is very neat. The breakfast here is on the basement floor of the hotel. The dishes are very ordinary and there are not many choices. For me, this cabbage dish is OK. Special attention should be paid when living here: doors and windows must be closed at all times, otherwise monkeys may come and go. At dusk, I saw monkeys climbing on the higher branches next door and patrolling for a short time from the window of my room, as if they were checking which doors and windows were open to attack. But think about it, this is the home of this group of wild animals. They keep their distance from each other and don't interfere with each other. They can live in peace and contentment.

A homestay with a private beach. It is also very close to Taroko. The boss, the boss wife is easygoing and kind. In the evening, we specially recommended that we go to eat the spicy pot over there. The fly in the ointment is that there are more than 40 people's wives and children's groups on the same day. I almost didn't sleep well overnight. However, this is not directly related to the boss. Clean, Quiet and peaceful hotel located away from the crowded area. Nice view outside the hotel and my room. Easily reach out to the owner just by picking up the wall phone, fast and helpful service though it is not a face to face interaction. There's a washing machine just outside the hotel too (face the hotel, to your left), conveniently hung my clothes nearby to dry. Hear rooster calling out in the wee hours or dogs barking. There's a hotpot shop just opposite the hotel called 我们不一样, bus stop within 3mins walk from the hotel.
