for a luxury hotel, it is missing a lot of services, there is no al la carte for dinner, only buffet, and you cant leave the hotel because of the road closure, so if you dont want a buffet, you only option is room service there is only 1 restaurant for lunch - as its really mediocre the pool doesnt serve food and the bar is only open from 3-6pm the hotel is is nice but its missing a lot of opportunity to make more money and be amazing also the team is under staffed

This is our second time staying here. We have stayed in some really nice hotel across the world but this is definitely one of the top three nicest one. Service is great and the room surrounding by greens is incredible. Would definitely recommend staying the the suite which brings you the complete different experience

The property is clean, the staff are very helpful, and the location is excellent. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are of high quality. Some rooms, however, are beginning to feel dated—particularly the carpets, bathrooms and showers—and will likely require renovation in the coming years to maintain the standard set by the location and overall service.

Everything was great apart from the location being a bit difficult to get to, and not many food options apart from the hotel’s restaurants. Otherwise very nice.

Best best best hotel we have ever stayed in. Services provided was excellent. All staff were very genuinely. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. We stayed in another 5 star hotel in Jiaoxi which is No. 1 in Jiaoxi but the service cannot be matched. Well done to all the staff. Room was always clean. Thank you to the staff who cleaned our spectacle. It was a nice gesture. Different snacks were topped up everyday. The face mask provided was so good! Surrounding of the hotel was very nice. We had the gorge view and OMG! We don't mind waking up to this view everyday. We hope they will contruct a stairs for guest to go down to the gorge. It is a waste to just see it from the top. Breakfast was good. We could see that they have made an effort to label which is vegetarian and which is not. It's very thoughtful of the restaurant. However, we had a seafood porridge and thought it was purely seafood but notice there was chicken in it but not written. Maybe they can improve in this. Kids are very well entertained in this hotel. They have a huge play room for them. Indoor pool with heated pool is enough to keep the kids occupied for 2hours at least. They also have daily activities and some are free. Thank you Silk Place for the wonderful stay. We will be back.

This was a great hotel and a great stop before driving through the national park in the morning. Also the breakfast was amazing
