"Convenient & Friendly Stay in Jeju Among the 4 hotels I booked for this trip, this one had the most guest-friendly check-in/out policy — check-in after 2 PM and check-out before 12 PM, unlike many hotels in Busan that require check-in after 4 PM (even 8 PM!) and check-out before 10 AM. The staff was friendly, though she only spoke Chinese — but no problem, she was sweet and used a translation app to communicate. The room was small and didn’t have a closet or hanger, but it was clean, new, and comfortable. Perfect if you just need a safe and convenient place to sleep. Great location, only 20 minutes to the airport, with many bus routes nearby for exploring Jeju’s top sights."

"Shinhwa Hotel and Resort is located conveniently to Shinhwa Water Park, the largest water park in Jeju. Relax in style while enjoying the gorgeous view at the Sky Pool. The resort features a total of 308 rooms including the 27㎡ Superior rooms, the 38㎡ Deluxe rooms, and the spacious 54㎡ Junior Suites overlooking the breath-taking Jeju horizon. Check-In/Out Check-In 3:00 PM l Check-Out 12:00 PM…. but perhaps there were something i need to suggest to the management or governance who manage the place in reality and genuine feedback from tourist who had his first visit to JEJU island, stayed in Shinhwa resort whereas not as other resort that sititng adjacent to the coast and beaches, instead the attraction were merely basis on the facilities and assest of the hotel such as Theme park, Water world and Skypools, top 3 marketing gimmicks of Shinhwa resort...inspite of the venue is licensed with CASINO business for adult who fond to it. 1: the house keeping; make up room time after 15:00 has contrary with the 11:00 check out time that has acquire guest to leave the room which was not very pleasant experience we had, walking along the corridor finding very untidy trolley and uncleaned towels lying on the floor in mess which was a very stunning views when after we walked out from the lift. 2: Lost and found procedure was either a non flexible approach, imagine i had to travel 180 minutes from AIRPORT to the hotel just to collect my lost found wallet, instead the hotel could have just call a taxi to send my wallet closeby to AIRPORT. It could had saved me 180 minutes and Korean W 35,000! Any thought?"

"We verbleven als stel in dit hotel, dat werkelijk prachtig is en alles biedt wat je nodig hebt voor een heerlijk verblijf: restaurants, winkels (weliswaar prijzig), een zwembad, een spa, een waterpark… Voor een romantisch uitje zijn er een paar leuke plekjes in de buurt van het hotel, maar verder liggen alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden van het eiland in het oosten, op ongeveer anderhalf uur rijden. Het is dus niet de ideale locatie om het eiland te verkennen als dat je belangrijkste doel is! Maar we hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad en de service was perfect!"

"I really liked the property of the venue. I came to the area later in the day because it was raining on the island. Because I was in the midst of a circle around the island, I had already dealt with a rain storm at the folk Village and just needed to eat or clean up. I needed tea and a space to relax. There’s a plaza about five minutes walking from this property, and some of the amenities were closed at Playce when I arrived. I was also told at check-in that it was more like a hostel. The check-in process was fast.  The room space is very small, but the design of the hotel rooms is neat and functional. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage rack, and there are limited hours for the café, laundry, play, and bar restaurant. I had two suitcases, so I used my bed and a MacGyver way to set the carry-on.  I think this place is best suited for remote workers who are minimalists or trekkers/bikers. I still think the concept of Playce is unique. However, I wanted to go see the sunrise on the Ilchulbong hike and there’s no breakfast early in the morning. The coffee shop is not open until later either. The restaurant opens promptly at dinner time. The shop has very nice branded things, but I chose to purchase a couple of basic souvenirs. I felt a sense of hipster basically. Otherwise, the place is great. Price is best.  Although the staff was very friendly and had lots of information, I do not feel that describing the venue as a hostel was appropriate. If I cannot get my tea or coffee when the popular attraction nearby is a 40 minute walk away or a five minute taxi, then I should at least have the option that a hostel does. This means I had to utilize the coffee that I took from the previous hotel in order to make my morning start the best at sunrise.. It was suggested that I go to a restaurant locally across the street by Starbucks at the 4pm check-in since the restaurant was not open until 6 PM. Even if I had my own snacks, the option I had was to use the hot water machine downstairs. Thinking back to a hostel, I did not have the hostel kitchen. The laundry was available if needed though.  What I liked about this Playce despite the fact that it was a rainy day is the feature of the stage in the middle of the property and the fact that they do events locally on a regular basis. I liked the interior decorating and I did like the fact that they had a library/remote workers room. The food at the restaurant was delicious. When I did get to eat breakfast later in the morning after the hike (the hike spot had local shops), it was really good. When the café did eventually open, it was a very nice space. Food service literally saved my opinion late in the morning.  I like the concept of the whole property and feel that it can do better in accommodating the hotel guests, especially when it is a Chinese holiday revolving around an upcoming Korean holiday. Hours of operation are not in sync with travelers, and it is definitely not with hostel amenities. It’s a hotel.  I stayed at this location because of the price and vibe which was quite fine after 6pm. I really enjoyed the hike and the small village near the shore."

"Dit hotel/resort heeft kamers van verschillende groottes, geschikt voor verschillende aantallen gasten. De villa's/kamers bevinden zich in verschillende clusters met gratis parkeergelegenheid. Het is belangrijk dat je een eigen auto hebt, zodat je je bagage gemakkelijk naar het aangewezen blok kunt verplaatsen. Het enige nadeel is dat alle villa's/kamers geen lift hebben, vooral als je veel bagage hebt en zwaar bent - de hoogste verdieping is verdieping 3. Ik moet mijn bagage van 19 kg naar verdieping 3 sjouwen met uitzicht op zee 😓"

"We booked the Casa Milla Room. The apartment was very comfortable and very large. In terms of location, it is not very near to many places but if you are driving, it is really ok. We like the peace and tranquility. There is also an elevator for Casa Milla rooms and therefore, no worries about having to lug the luggage up the stairs. Room for improvement - will be good if there is an English instructions for operating the washing machine and oven. Using translate app to operate was not very useful."

"Had a wonderful time here. Staff was super riendly and co-operative. Only drawback is the location as its not very lively but a great option for a budget friendly trip. We had early morning flight so they arranged a taxi for us too which was nice. Its about 1 hr from Jeju airport and is a good spot if you want calm holidays and want to visit Odo island."

"I stayed for 2 nights and I made a mistake booking an extra night and the staff was so helpful and they returned my money with no hesitation. I recommend this hotel, the beach is near by, just a 10 minute walk and the breakfast is great, western and Korean dishes."
