"The hotel location is the best, so close to the conference place and can walk to V&A waterfront around 20mins. Or you can take a hop on hop off bus to go around cape town, the bus stop also very close tho the hotel. But honestly the hotel is not really clean, but the room is big enough! Better ask for nee renovated room, the old one is really old, you won’t like it. And better bring your own slippers and teeth brush, cause the hotel didn’t provide but you can pay hotel to get one. The breakfast is just ok, but there is a burger king near the hotel. And need to be careful when go out, especially during night time."

"The hotel is in best location to see table mountain and visit Cape Town. Our room on the 14. Floor is so big and luxury. The personal in Taj hotel are all so friendly and helpful, they try their best to satisfy the guests. The food and wine are fantastic!"

"Neues Hotel in guter Lage. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet mit kleiner Küche und Waschmaschine mit Trockener. Das Badezimmer mit Dusche ist sauber und ebenfalls gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich mit viel Obst, leckerem Brot und frisch zubereitetem Kaffee nach Wahl. Da das Hotel in einer belebten Straße mit Gastronomie liegt, wird es nachts lauter. "I received excellent service from the staff in the hotel . The most outstanding service was from Mustapha, he helped me on two occasions with the safe, which was giving error codes. Over and above this after I had left the hotel, I had a package arriving late that I could not receive. Mustapha shared his personal Whatsapp number with me to organize the package to be returned to the seller. I have not received such excellent service in some years of staying in hotels outside of South Africa. Thank you!"

"The staff at this hotel is absolutely excellent, and has been mostly the same group of friendly, helpful, funny people for the last few years. I stay here every time I come to Cape Town. It's quiet and restful, with a stunning view over the city. The public areas are comfortable and well-suited to reading, drinking coffee, and getting some work done. The only problem is the showers, which can be a little tricky and sometimes don't have hot water."

"Lovely stay at Pepperclub - recommended. We chose to celebrate a big milestone in South Africa to create some very special memories. We toured from Joburg, through Nambiti to Durban and then onto Cape Town, and we booked Pepperclub to have a pampered end to our trip. The location is great, near Bo Kaap, local markets and safe to walk around. We had no problem getting where we needed to go. The hotel is very clean including the communal areas, gym and of course the rooms. However, housekeeping was more 4* - simple requests like extra blankets needed to be chased, and the turndown of the room happened every day but was inconsistent (sometimes the bathroom was cleaned and restocked, sometimes not). Similarly, the service was inconsistent even through the reception/concierge was always well staffed - Godfrey always greeted us enthusiastically, and there was another duty manager that was very diligent and followed-up well. However, when Godfrey was not on shift the welcome was more muted, and the staff on reception weren't exactly warm and not always efficient. Restaurant staff were always very warm and friendly. Breakfast was great - with good selection of buffet and a la carte options served swiftly. Lunch options were good too, and room service was efficient. Spa was excellent with very good massages and treatments. The Gym is good, though a little small, and for clarity the pool is not heated (but is beautiful). We didn't get a chance to try the private Odeon cinema, but they only had older movies not the newer ones found at public Odeon cinemas. Great views of Table Mountain and Lions Head from the rooms. The hotel were able to grant our special requests of early check-in, inter-leading rooms and they dressed the room and provided cake and bubbly to celebrate our anniversary - lovely touches. You won't regret your stay, but you may not be compelled to stay again."

"Elegant hotel in Paternoster, perfect for few nights stay. The team is really kind and helpful. The villas are brand new, well decorated and very comfortable. The swimming pool is a real plus ! We will come back without hesitations."
