Voor de t****e keer ingecheckt, maar dit keer voor 3 nachten. Laten we ons meer concentreren op de voorzieningen/faciliteiten (strand, sportschool en eten)
De pendeldienst rijdt nu elk uur vanaf het schrijven van deze recensie. Savoy en Belmont hebben een optimale oplossing gevonden voor de afstand van het strand. Vraag altijd aan de receptie hoe laat de volgende shuttle-ophaaldienst is. Er zijn twee soorten voertuigen, een modern busje (belmont) en een traditionele jeep (savoy), die om de beurt gasten ophalen en afzetten.
Het strand biedt uitzicht op de zonsopgang, dus voor mensen die de beste bruine lijnen willen krijgen, moeten jullie vroeg in de ochtend zijn. Ondertussen zijn hier foto's van 13.00 tot 17.00 uur te zien met zeer goede schaduwrijke delen en hoogtij. Verwacht geen superfijn zand, de kustlijn heeft grote rotsen, maar het is beheersbaar. Op een bepaald uur van de dag is het water helder en zijn kleine vissen zichtbaar. Ga zwemmen in de middelste delen waar geen minimale rotsen aanwezig zijn, maar zodra je een duik neemt, zul je de koude en hete stroming die door je lichaam stroomt waarderen. Uniek en ontspannend gevoel.
De sportschool is optimaal, als je verstand hebt van dumbbells dan ben je blij met het zwaarste gewicht van 50kg. Het cardiogedeelte kijkt uit op het zwembad. Machines zijn beheersbaar, goed om gewoon een pomp te krijgen.
Het eten dat gedurende 3 nachten wordt geserveerd, is vrijwel hetzelfde als mijn vorige recensie. Filipijns-Amerikaans ontbijt. Doordeweeks is het fris, maar in het weekend wordt het erg druk. Verblijf je dus op een doordeweekse dag, dan krijg je nog steeds volle borden en kommen te zien. In het weekend een ander verhaal. Eén hack is dus dat je van 06.00 uur tot 08.00 uur moet gaan om de verschillende keuzes te zien. De mentaliteit van de meeste mensen zal ervoor kiezen om van 9.00 tot 10.00 uur te gaan, zodat ze zich tot de lunch vol voelen. Raad eens, wat je op die momenten natuurlijk zult zien zijn lege borden en kommen. Haha
Het eten dat op het strand wordt geserveerd is oké. Iets om je maag mee te vullen. De bestsellers hebben de voorkeur, het kan beter. Bij de vaste menu's is een drankje inbegrepen.

• De locatie is onovertroffen: direct aan Alona Beach. Het is heerlijk om letterlijk een paar stappen verderop wakker te worden, met wit zand en helder water.
• De zwembaden zijn prachtig: er is een infinity pool met uitzicht op het strand en er is ook een swim-up bar. De perfecte plek om te ontspannen met een drankje.
• De kamers zijn ruim, schoon en comfortabel. De airconditioning is koel, het bed is zacht en er is een balkon.
• Het personeel is over het algemeen vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is prettig om met hen te praten, vooral in het restaurant en bij het zwembad.

Inchecken, uitchecken...zeer eenvoudig en duidelijk verwerkt.
De faciliteiten waren een beetje oud, maar het was niet lastig om te gebruiken.
Het ligt tegenover Ayala Mall, dus het is de beste plek om naar het winkelcentrum te gaan.
Het was jammer dat het zwembad in aanbouw was.

The facilities, location, the foods were all thumbs-up.
However some front desk receptionists were kind od more accommodating and more careful to foreign guests as compared to co filipinos which supposed to be fair regardless of who you are. I suggest more training on this.

Het was een fantastische vakantie. Kevin van de receptie was geweldig, van aankomst tot vertrek. Hij was erg vriendelijk en efficiënt. Het was een warm welkom. Het personeel in het restaurant was allemaal geweldig. Ontbijt, strandsnack en diner. Ze waren vriendelijk en boden de beste service. De strandwachten en beveiliging (Julio, als ik het me goed herinner) waren erg aardig en hielpen individuele reizigers uitstekend. Bedankt aan de chauffeur van mijn transfer bij vertrek. Ondanks de drukte bleven alle medewerkers glimlachen. Ik heb een geweldige vakantie gehad in de zon en op een prachtig strand bij South Palm Resort! Ik kom zeker snel terug.

We appreciate the birthday surprise and nice room view.

Ik heb een premium reservering gemaakt omdat ik hoorde dat het goed was.
Allereerst was het inchecken vroeg (11.00 uur) en het welkomstdrankje was erg lekker.
Ze zijn aardig en letten altijd op de veiligheid terwijl mijn ouders aan het zwemmen zijn.
Het was schoon en ik zag geen enkele bug! Het was goed
Bij het bezorgen van Grab Food wordt echter alleen de hoofdmaaltijd verstrekt.
Ik hou er niet van om te moeten lopen en geen taxi te kunnen nemen.

uitstekende service. het personeel is attent en vriendelijk. locatie is handig en met toegang tot het winkelcentrum Nustar. mooie, ruime kamer met uitzicht op zee. en ze gaven me zelfs een gratis dessert en een heerlijke verjaardagstaart. ontbijtbuffet heeft een grote spreiding en allemaal goed. Over het algemeen hadden we een geweldig verblijf en ik kijk ernaar uit om hier binnenkort weer te verblijven.

SSOO MEYWe had a wonderful stay at this resort and truly appreciate the exceptional service provided by the staff. The front desk team was incredibly helpful—when my husband thought he had dropped his wallet in the car during our transit from the pier, they went above and beyond by checking the CCTV to help us track the car plate number.
With their help, we discovered that the wallet was not left in the van. Eventually, we realized it had been dropped in a Grab car during our journey from Cebu City to Pier 1 Cebu, and we were able to successfully recover it. We are very grateful for their effort and support throughout the process.
From the first day we checked in, the front desk staff noticed that my son was not feeling well. They kindly informed us that the resort has a nurse available and encouraged us to reach out if needed. On the third day, my 4-year-old son’s diarrhea became more serious, and the staff once again showed genuine care and concern. They arranged for a nurse to check on him, who provided helpful advice and referred us to a clinic doctor the next morning. This gave us great peace of mind as parents.
The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed the pool—it was excellent. Overall, the warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the resort, the purple yam porridge is very nice. All the staff were very kind, helpful, friendly, and warm.
We would definitely come back again if we travel to Bohol. One small suggestion would be to add a gym room for guests, which would make the facilities even more complete.

AAnonymous UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations. I stayed for three nights and didn't even leave the hotel once – I simply didn't want to! All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service that made my stay exceptionally comfortable. Housekeeping was super responsive; any request I had was handled very quickly.
The restaurant service was even more meticulous. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the staff would proactively and kindly ask if I wanted coffee or other drinks, and often, the coffee was even complimentary – such a heartwarming detail. The mangosteens and mangoes at breakfast were unlimited, making it a true 'fruit paradise' – so satisfying! The breakfast selection on Saturday and Sunday was rich and delicious, while Monday's was slightly less impressive, but overall, it was still fantastic. The entire experience was exceptional; I highly recommend this hotel!

Llugares1661Good hotel. we had the misfortune of staying on the same floor with a group of Chinese tourists, they staeted shouting at 7 in the morning in the corridor. The staff intervened promptly. Breakfast is decent forea few days trip, the bacon seems cooked in batches and reheated when needed, so it's too dry and not how it should be. The swimming pool is decent, you get sunshine between 10 am and 2 pm, then there is the shades of the building.

Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance.
Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont.
First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things.
Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday.
The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it.
The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable.
However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach.
They provide swimming towels too!
I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving.

GGuest UserI had a recent overnight stay at Fili Hotel Cebu with my wife and overall it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and good facilities.
Service was polite and efficient, though not particularly standout. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and good presentation, but the flavors were fairly average and leaned towards the safe side.
Overall, a solid and comfortable stay, though it falls a bit short of being truly memorable.

View and waters are amazing, food was included in our stay (breakfast and dinner) and there are many free activities to take part. The view are spectacular! The rooms were clean and spacious for 2 pax- can fit up to 4 pax.
Favorite activity was to fish from the lagoon and watch the baby shark (white shark) feeding at 1130am and chilling at the hammock infront of the rooms.
Massages are quality if you want some wave asmr as they are done in the outdoor huts but only can do 1 hour blocks and require quick booking/advance booking as the masseuses are limited.
wifi connections are good islandwise but it’s more of chillax resort. The rooms have netflix and youtube.
do bring some night snacks or simple lunch as their restaurants close early at 9pm and ferry out are only during the lunch time

MMeihuizzzzThe entire resort consists of 1-2 story buildings, giving it a real vacation vibe away from the bustling city. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout our stay. You do have to be patient with the slower service, like dishes being served, which is common in the Philippines, but then again, we were there to enjoy a 'slow-paced life.' If you want your room cleaned quickly, you'll need to call the front desk specifically, otherwise, it typically won't be done until after 3 PM.

GGuest UserI booked for a room with pool view which is more expensive than the rest of the rooms but i was greatly disappointed. We were placed in a room with a roof view and the view of another building! It was a waste of money! We only get to see the roof of something! Never again would i be paying extra money for a pool view when the hotel will not give us such kind of room as advertised. They said they will transfer us to a room with a pool view but it did not happen. We kept on waiting but it did not happen until we gave up.
The receptionist was a little disrespectful and impatient.
Worse still, they do not allow guests who have checked in the hotel to use the pool with inflatable play set and slides. I was mislead into thinking that guests can use the pool with inflatable play set for free. The hotel guests have to pay P600 per person in order for one to be able to use such pool and slides. I guess families with children have been more disappointed than me knowing that they and their kids could not use such pool for free.
So those who will try to book this hotel hoping their kids can enjoy the pool with inflatable play set and slides for free, think again. You will be greatly disappointed because you will only be able to use the ordinary pools.

GGuest UserThe room was a bit old, and I was surprised to find a large number of ants in the bathroom on the first night, but they disappeared after disinfection. That was pretty much the only issue. All the staff were friendly, and we had no trouble communicating, even with my broken English. Although the breakfast selection was small, it was delicious. We used the new breakfast venue that opened on June 1st, and its open-concept design created a very pleasant atmosphere. The oyster bar and seafood restaurant, also located by the sea, had a great vibe and served delicious food. The portions were quite generous, making it a bit challenging for just two people to finish everything.
