Ik kan alleen maar zeggen dat dit hotel absoluut fantastisch was.
De meeste hotels in Scandinavië zijn vrij oud, maar dit hotel was erg nieuw en had een bijzonder mooi design. Het ligt in een minder toeristisch gebied van de Lofoten, waar je zelden Chinezen ziet. Ik betaalde extra voor een kamer met zeezicht en balkon, en het was het absoluut waard! Ik zag zelfs het noorderlicht vanaf het balkon! 🤭

Had the most amazing stay. The very kind service I received reception and I wish I knew his name as throughout my whole stay he was so amazing. From hotel to airport transfers, answered all of my questions.. he genuinely cares about his guests. I will definitely stay there again

We'd booked a room for 5 with an extra bed on ***********, but when we reached the hotel, the lady at check-in informed us that in the Scandic Narvik system it was only a room for 2 people, that there was no other space available, and that in future, we should book directly with the hotel in order to avoid this happening again. In the end, she was able to find us a room, but it was such a terrible way to start off what was otherwise a brilliant stay in beautiful Narvik.

The staff Alison was very friendly and enthusiastic and offered good advice regarding restaurants in the vicinity as well as parking. The breakfast spread was excellent with wide range variety. Will stay here if ever I return to Leknes.

De locatie was in orde, een korte loopafstand van het hoofdstadsgebied, ook van de meeste toeristische plekken.
Het ontbijt is beschikbaar.
Maar helaas was de hemel cloudig en kon het noorden niet zien tijdens mijn verblijf.

Wirklich empfehlenswert!
Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, direkt am Yachthafen. Es ist ein gutes Restaurant im Hause, das auch bei Einheimischen beliebt ist und man kann auch draußen sitzen.
Das Zimmer war gut und sauber, es war wirklich ein schönes Erlebnis dort zu sein und es gehörte zu den besten Hotels auf unserer Norwegenreise.
Parkplätze muss man suchen oder bezahlen

DD13928****Absolutely loved this hotel! The surroundings are incredibly photogenic, and the aurora often appears right on the mountain top across from the hotel. I even asked the front desk for aurora viewing recommendations, and they suggested a small church hill and by the pier. But honestly, you can just watch it from right outside the hotel. Otherwise, you'd have to head towards the city outskirts, and the two places they recommended weren't great, especially the small church – it was too cluttered with trees and rooftops. Plus, the hotel's lobby offers free 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee, which is a huge bonus! I'm not sure if my room got an upgrade, but it felt much larger than I expected. The hotel has two floors, and the only downside is no elevator. So, it's best to pack your luggage strategically. If you're on the second floor, just take a few essentials up, and you can store your suitcase at the front desk. Of course, when checking in, if you're on the second floor, a staff member will help you with your bags, but you'll have to carry them down yourself when checking out. The hotel is about 600 meters from the pier and several large supermarkets, making shopping and getting around convenient. The parking lot is also spacious. All in all, fantastic value for money! (The aurora was visible above the red house in the third photo).

OongavinWe stayed at Eliassen Rorbuer and chose the oceanfront superior cottage. The location of the resort is beautiful, peaceful, and well-situated. It’s easy to see why it was featured by Lonely Planet.
That said, the oceanfront balcony area is also accessible to everyone, not just guests staying in the oceanfront units. So if you are cost-conscious, I would actually recommend choosing the non-oceanfront rooms, as you still get to enjoy the same views and access.
The stay itself was comfortable and relaxing. The resort is eco-friendly, so do note that they do not provide amenities such as toothbrush, toothpaste, or slippers. They also do not provide cleaning / housekeeping services during your stay. The overall environment is natural, quiet, and lovely.
Breakfast is too simple given the rate.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and peaceful place. You can easily catch the aurora at the resort.

XXinran｜qingxumeixueThis is the third Thon chain hotel I've stayed at on this trip, and the WiFi password was conveniently the same across all of them. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean, and came with a kettle. There's a supermarket conveniently located nearby to stock up on essentials. Also, there's a Chinese restaurant by the sea; the food was decent, and it's the only Chinese restaurant on the island.

Additionally, the noise insulation was very poor—I could hear footsteps and movement from upstairs throughout the night, which severely impacted my sleep and caused insomnia.
While the hostel has potential, these issues need to be addressed to improve the overall experience. It’s a suitable choice for budget travelers prioritizing convenience, but light sleepers may want to consider other options.

BBee_❤️I stayed at Svinøya Rorbuer recently, and honestly, it was such a beautiful experience. Our cabin had the perfect view for catching the northern lights — we literally just looked out of the window and there they were, dancing above us. Pure magic.
The cabin itself was spotless and felt really cosy. One of the heaters wasn’t working at first, but the team came over and sorted it immediately, which I really appreciated. Fast, friendly service makes all the difference, especially in the cold!
Overall, a lovely stay. I’d happily go back in a heartbeat.

**Room:** For the first night, I was in a duplex room where the upstairs and downstairs shared a living room and kitchen. On the second night, I moved to a one-bedroom suite complete with a living room and kitchen.
**Cleanliness:** Good.
**Breakfast:** Plentiful.
**Facilities:** The room for my first night was on the ground floor, which was convenient. However, my room for the second night was on the third floor with no elevator, making it quite a struggle with large luggage. The upside was a balcony with a fantastic view!

SShixiaofeiya111First of all, this hotel is located in Ouzhen, friends who come to Roftown will come to this place! I recommend everyone to live in Ouzhen or Leiyan. But there is one thing to say, this hotel is a bit amazing to me, the room is equipped with a kitchen, stove, tableware are all available, and it is very clean, and it is very convenient to cook by yourself. The room we stayed in was one bedroom and one living room, very warm! And if the weather is good, this is a superb aurora observation point! ! The only downside is that there seems to be no hair dryer, if you check in, you can ask at check-in. Overall, this is a very recommended accommodation experience, especially suitable for travelers who want to get close to nature and experience the fishing village style. Super recommended! !
