"This is a very nice hotel. Loved every corner of it. A bit old. But the service and location makes it a nice place to stay. Near shinjo station by bus 20 minutes. It’s a good place to stay if you are going to ginzan onsen. They have shuttle bus to shinjo station from the hotel. They have izakaya inside of the hotel. Staff is great and helpful. We totally recommend it to stay. Awesome views"

Newly renovated baths, now open, along with all-new stone spa and an open-air bath overlooking the Mogami River.
"The hotel is a bit far from the city but it is clean and the service is superb. The hot spring has a good view of the river so it is quite relaxing while having baths there. Dinner has good choice of food and it comprised of a set and also buffet. I requested for changing the content of the set menu and they were able to accommodate my request at very short notice. The servicing staff were extremely friendly."

I was worried about snow because I visited in January, but it happened to be a weekend when the snow melted, so I went by rental car with peace of mind 🚗
It may be inconvenient without a car rental.
It looks like a popular day trip hot spring for locals, and the parking lot may be crowded, but when I looked for it a little, it was vacant!
Robby has an old-fashioned taste and calms down!
I forgot to take a picture, but there is a ２ faucet at the washbasin. The long faucet was for water supply.
The hot springs are hot, but the water quality is good twice at night and once in the morning ♨️
Breakfast was also very delicious with vegetables and rice, and I refilled it 😋
I want to go again!

Facilities: Average, not very new, but not bad.
Hygiene: The sanitation is pretty good
Environment: The town is very quiet, the snowy scenery is beautiful, and every household has a persimmon tree
Service: The service needs to be improved. The guy at the front desk can hardly speak English and is not very enthusiastic, which is different from many Japanese hostels
Dining: Dinner is not bad, quite rich, and the tableware is also beautiful
Special praise for the free snacks and coffee in the lobby☕️

The meal doesn't change.
